I called the Lowes 1-800 number and they basically said "well that's your problem, we're not going to help you because we paid fedex even though we used the wrong kind of label that avoids paying the USPS for their job doing the last mile and USPS needs to be paid from somebody for that." Recently bought a range from there. The whole process wasn't good. I should have known better as years ago I also had issues when I got a range there. In the end the problem was mostly there installer. The store manager was nice and really did try to make it right but the whole experience was so horrible I'd never be able to shop there again and I'm scared to ever let there installer in my house again. I was at the paint department today, I couldn't decide what I wanted. Mark was so helpful, he explained the differences between the different satins versus matte, he showed me how you can do the cloudy effect which is what I wanted. We have gone to this particular Lowe's recently for house projects but I would not suggest this location. We have ordered items for pickup and when we come to pick up the items once they were ready for pickup, Lowe's claimed to never have the items. One time they tried to make us sign for goods they didn't give us. Recently today I noticed they do not enforce mask policies at this Lowes's. I personally felt uncomfortable seeing both customers and employees not wearing a mask properly or at all at this location. I'd suggest going to the Lowe's in Hamburg. read more

I have no complaints at all about the employees. They all have been courteous and willing to help if needed. The complaint I have is the idiots at the top decided to hire out their delivery service to save money (corporate greed) and the company they use then hires out to another sub contractor. Getting appliances delivered has been nothing but a nightmare with this third party and I ended up sending it back. until they get better delivery I won't be buying any more things that need delivery. read more

My husband and I have been remodeling our home one room at a time and so we are always at Lowe's for something or other and spend quite a bit of money there. We mostly go to the location in Hamburg as it is just as close as going to the Pottsville location. Last week, we were in Pottsville for other reasons so decided to stop to get our fencing for our garden and plants, etc. Well, let me say, that we will be going to Hamburg from now on because the customer service in the Pottsville store is terrible. No one is around asking if you need help or just saying "hello" like in the Hamburg location and our cashier was rude and needs a few lessons in customer service. Since we hadn't intended on stopping at Lowe's, I left my credit card at home. The cashier told me she could not look it up, that I'd have to go to customer service for that. I told her that I didn't have to do that last time and she said, "well sorry, this register is different." The place was crowded and there were people behind me so I just said I'd pay with another card even though I was going to lose my 5% discount for using my Lowe's card. Then, I had an orchid that I wanted to purchase, there wasn't a price on it. She asked if I knew how much it was. I told her it was 8 something but I wasn't exactly sure. She kept looking in her pricing book at the register and said it's $9.99. I said, no, it wasn't $9.99. She obviously didn't want to go look or get someone to look so I told her never mind, I'd get one next time. At this point, I was a bit agitated and she could probably tell because she said, "if you want me to delete everything and start over, I can try to look up your card but I can't help this register is different.............etc., etc. UUGH!!!! read more

I agree with the guy about never get carpet from here. They advertise a 72 hr carpet installation sale. We have a very small room we needed done so I take measurements in and pick out an in stock carpet. The sign says $.49 square foot installing price and padding and tack strip included. I even ask the salesman and he says yes, if we buy the in stock carpet, it's $.49 sq ft install with everything included. Then he tells us our measurements are no good and the 72 hrs doesn't start til their guy measures and sends them back to store. Ok fine. It takes a week for them to measure and 3 more days to send the measurements to the store. I'm away for work when this happens so my wife goes in to pay. They tell her padding is not included and is almost the same price as the carpet. Then she is informed the 72 hr guaranteed installation doesn't begin until the carpet subcontractors cut and pick up the carpet. She just wants to get it done so pays the almost double bill. The guy she dealt with admits to her the ad is extremely misleading and they have problems with it all the time. In the end, we got the carpet installed but only after having to call the installer a few times to get them here. I'll never go to Lowe's again. The extra drive to Home Depot is worth it. read more

I ordered appliances here with a bundle deal. The woman who helped me insisted she added all my appliances and I asked her to repeat all the items to me again. It was a great price for 7 appliances. Well when Lowes came to deliver, they didn't bring the washer and dryer. But they did bring the dryer cord I had purchased. I called Lowes and spoke to John, the manager. He was very unprofessional and rude. I still had the business card of the who helped us that day. He said he talked to her and she didn't remember helping us that day and she said she never said there was a washer and dryer to the order. EVEN THOUGH SHE ADDED THE DRYER CORD. Why would we buy a dryer cord when we have no dryer to hook it up to. John said since this lady didn't remember helping us there was nothing he could do. The lady obviously lied because we were there for like 2 hours picking out stuff. Needless to say, I had to pay extra for the washer and dryer then when I told it was included. Unprofessional staff. Go somewhere else if you can. read more
