My sister in law purchased a fridge from Lowe's in Rockingham NC. In less than a week she noticed scratches on the door that could only be seen if you are looking at the door from an angle. She called Lowe's. they sent someone out to look at. they told her they were not going to do anything about it because she didn't report it within 48 hours. So If you decide to do business with these people you need to inspect your appliances because they will sell you something damaged and won't fix it! Hubby sent me to store tonight to pick up some items for him. I'm not very knowledgeable of building/repair, so I wasn't really sure what he wanted. Went to Lowes and asked Norman to help me. He did! Nailed it! He spoke directly to the hubby on the phone and got exactly what the hubby requested. After I took the stuff home, we found out one part needed to be a different length. Back to Lowes I go! Got there, asked lady at customer service to page Norman! He was on lunch break, but came off his break to help me again! THANK YOU NORMAN!! You're fantastic!!! read more

This review applies to the Gardening department. It looked like a tornado had blown thrown. Trees and plants knocked over inside and out. The trees and shrubs all looked to be dying from lack of water. I can't imagine Lowe's corporate tolerating the neglect of this store! read more

I've ordered the same flooring twice. Both times they said they don't have it and it's discontinued. Even though the store and distribution center said they had available stock. This is a waste of my time and my customers time. Stick with a specialty store to get proper customer service. Lowes is the Walmart of building supply. - The following FB Message was sent/ posted to Lowe's on FB- When you place an online order, you are told an email notifying you when your order is ready for pick up. the order was for several items, roof shingles which were to be arriving in two weeks as noted among them. Yet I received a PHONE CALL and email that my order is ready for pick up. Also an email with green line in-store status, ready for pick up. Yet despite the email notifying me of pick up ready status, and the call saying the same, the order IS NOT READY for pick up. Based on the arrival of the shingles, is the scheduling of the roofer to install them/ and picking them up from that Lowes location... To check the REAL-TIME status of the shingles, I struggled for a full half hour to get to the customer service desk. Once there I was told" If you could see all the people in the store right now, you'd understand why" you had to wait 1/2 an hour to have the phone answered. My background is ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE both as a business owner and employee and this kind of response from a customer service phone representative just is unprofessional and NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE. She offered no help to check my order and said "probably it would be in on the date it said when I ordered it". AGAIN, NOT PROFESSIONAL and offering no assistance AT ALL. Meanwhile, based off the PHONE CALL, asking me to come get my order and the confusing order status off the website, checking order status, there is perhaps hours between the arrival date of the shingles and date the roofer plans to pick them up!! Ok, not Lowe's problem except WHY BOTHER TO CALL ME AT HOME TO PICK UP MY ORDER IF IT ISN'T COMPLETE?? And then have your customer bounce around your answering system for a full half hour to get to Customer Service - by accident- there is NO DIRECT LINE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE there, and once there, get NO HELP AT ALL..?? You have us all by the "TOOLS" at this- Rockingham, NC location because that is the ONLY big DIY materials and supplies location within 25 miles and therefore, we either put up with the crap customer service ( and no, the vested reps on the floor in the store DO NOT WILLINGLY OFFER ASSISTANCE, and then KNOW NOTHING - this goes for roofing, lumber, hardware and paint departments. I miss HOME DEPOT and other similar big name materials stores. Rating: --0 stars... lump of coal at Christmas to you guys... Sad there is no alternative within 25 miles ( 50 round trip).. *** The lack of professionalism must be directed at lack of proper training or instruction from management. There is a definite procedure to handling phone customers while working with customers in front of you; which offers respect and serves the needs of both customers, without whining about your personal job stress ( you don't whine about your job to your customers, ever..) We had a new carpet installed in our master bedroom, and there was enough material left over to carpet a small room. We called Lows in Azusa, and they said they would pick up the remainder and credit us for the yardage not needed. Since we paid for carpeting by the square foot, this would amount to a couple of hundred dollars of wasted material. My wife was told they would come to our home in Arcadia between 12 noon and 4 PM...so I waited for their arrival ALL DAY! No one showed up or called. When my wife called the store, she was told they were there at about 11:30 am, and no one answered the door. The problem with that is we have a ring video doorbell. It would record anyone at our door, and I was home all day; I would have heard the doorbell. Now we're told they will be here Saturday. To say I'm not happy would be an understatement! The carpeting looks great; it's their poor customer service that sucked. read more

I was NOT impressed with my very first appliance purchase with this store. We purchased a $400 stove and a $200 microwave along with the $20 power cord to the stove. We asked them to connect the power cord when we purchased it April 5th then reminded them about it April 6th when we came to get them. When I reminded Lyn about connecting the power cord I got a rather disturbing reaction from Lyn (he claimed to be the manager). This mans attitude is really BAD. Poor customer service and the way he talks to customers is not something LOWES should tolerate. He was mad and did not want to attach the power cord and was rather childish about the entire thing. I couldn't believe the way he acted and spoke to me and my father. Honestly this guy needs more customer service training and learn to be nicer and polite when asked to do simple things. Very clean store . the rest rooms was clean smelled nice when i had to take my son. And friendly staff. I bought the largest window air conditioner they had found an employee that was nice enough to help me load it on the cart. Then help me load it on my truck. Over all good experience. read more
