We feared that we would need to replace a $2500 appliance. I stopped by Moore Appliance to see if this is something they could take a look at. They set me up with an appointment for the next day "between 12 and 5." The technician called at 12:00 to let us know he was on the way, and he arrived about 10 minutes later. He immediately determined the previous occupants used oven cleaner, which clogged the burner and the gas intake. He explained you should not use oven cleaner on a gas over for this reason. He cleaned it out, tested the oven several times, and answered all of our questions. Super helpful, very professional, and much cheaper and easier than replacing the oven.

I…read morepurchased this sewing machine knowing it was a solid runner but not truly understanding how to use it. I recently brought my Singer 401A that was not running well to the Singer Sewing and Vacuum shop in Aberdeen and requested to have it serviced. This shop quoted me a reasonable price for a complete overhaul and servicing. The lady at the shop was very respectful even though I was somewhat ignorant to the machine I had and even forgot the cables at my house. The shop keeper (older with red hair) was extremely helpful and told me it would be done the by the next weekend. I called the shop the following Friday to confirm the machine was going to be done on time being I do not live in the immediate area and was told they were bringing in an additional technician to work on the machines and it would be done on time. The shop called early the next day with my 401 working and in top shape. The storekeeper sat down and gave and my wife and myself a class explaining what and how to care for, set up and run the machine. After the class which was very professional and helpful, she ran up the total and even took 5 dollars off of the total cost due to the machine not requiring a lot of care and service. This shop is a perfect example of a small business and the customer care and support that you get. I will surely be back with questions as I learn to repair my clothes and need additional help. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs service, parts, or new or used purchase. I will be going back to this shop for servicing my vacuum and sewing machine in the future.
