(1 Star) I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience involving the Pro Desk and appliance department at the Show Low Lowe's location. Prior to purchasing a refrigerator, I specifically confirmed with store personnel on multiple occasions that the exact model I wanted was physically in stock and available for immediate pickup. I explained that I would be traveling from a very rural and remote area and that making the trip would require a significant investment of time, fuel, and expense. Based upon repeated assurances from Lowe's staff, I was informed that the refrigerator would be pulled from inventory, staged, and ready for loading upon my arrival. Relying upon those representations, I purchased the refrigerator and made the several-hour trip to the store. Upon arrival, I was informed that the refrigerator sold to me was actually a display model and that Lowe's was unwilling or unable to release it. Despite the inconvenience caused by the error, management declined to make reasonable accommodations and offered no meaningful solution that addressed the time, expense, and hardship their mistake had created. The result was a completely unnecessary trip involving fuel costs, vehicle wear and tear, lost productivity, and several hours of travel based entirely on information that proved to be inaccurate. Most concerning was the apparent lack of accountability once the error was discovered. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced similar issues with Lowe's. In my experience, commitments made by employees are not always honored, inventory information is not always reliable, and customer accommodations are limited when mistakes occur. As a customer, I find this both frustrating and unprofessional. By contrast, I have consistently received more reliable service, better communication, and a greater commitment to customer satisfaction from the nearby Home Depot. I hope Lowe's management takes steps to improve inventory verification, employee communication, and customer service practices so that other customers--particularly those traveling long distances from rural communities--do not experience the same inconvenience and disappointment. read more

Very disappointed with Lowe's in Show Low, AZ. Terrible customer service! Bought this window air conditioner in February of 2026. Decided to install it in March of 2026. Found this unit has been opened previously and all the mounting hardware spilled throughout the box. I've bought thousands of dollars worth of appliances from this store in the past. We bought a refrigerator from Lowe's in February. Their third-party installer installed the refrigerator and when they placed the water filter in, they did not remove the tape fully. We left for over a week and got home and because the tape was blocking the water filter we had extensive floor damage and leak. The show store said I had to file a claim with their third-party is that was not their problem. The third-party installers said I should pursue this with the manufacturer. In contacting Lowe's and asking to speak with the store manager three times she has never returned my phone call and had an assistant returned my phone call. He said it's not their problem. Please be cautious in buying anything from Lowe's as they will not back up their sale and remedy the problem, they will only claim the problem is not theirs even when I hold a Lowe's receipt for my purchase. I was also told to escalate this Cuz 800 number asking for the regional manager since the store manager did not return my calls and when I did, they said they could not provide who the regional manager was. DO NOT GET ANYTING INSTALLED BY LOWES. I have been getting the run around for 3 months just to get 400 square feet of carpet installed the contractor never showed up then lost my carpet I have filed ROC Complaints against both companies. Lowes Corporate initially said they would replace my entire upstairs for the inconvenience but reneged once the quote came in. We moved out for remodeling to happen and have been living in a $3500+ a month rental because they ripped out my carpet and left exposed tack strips so we are out $11,000 (rent) and counting for their error. ($2500 more in the next few days) I have all the conversations with corporate recorded as proof and will possibly be suing them. They also dropped the ball on $10,000 worth of cabinets coming in in defective condition, and their granite installer cut out the specific area we asked to keep and used low quality adhesive and clear adhesive so the plywood under the granite is visible. Show Low Store would not resolve this issue. Gives me an 800 number for Samsung. Recieved no satisfaction from Samsung either!!! Now Lowes gives me another 800 number!!! REALLY!!!!!!! We have been battling Lowe's Show Low for 2 weeks now trying to get a 3-month old Maytag washer fixed. Bob the asst. mgr. told us a work ticket was sent to their repair service. Supposedly he said the only person who could have done this was someone named Carol. She has denied any knowledge of us at all. Obviously, no work ticket was put in. According to Bob "Carol went home and probably forgot." The only way we have gotten any satisfaction is by writing to the Lowe's General Manager and CEO. Thankfully, we now have some action from the Executive Customer Service. Thank you so much ***** for all your help. We were told by Ryan the Show Low manager that the broken washer would be picked up if we paid for a new one, and when the new one was delivered we would be refunded the $ for the replacement. Huh?? How foolish is that. Store policy we were told. No way. Ryan finally consented to having the broken one picked up and a new one delivered at no cost. We still are waiting for the removal and redelivery which could not be made on the same day. Thank you Sooo much for your lousy customer service. We have spent $***** at Lowe's over the past 8 years and have never been so angry and frustrated. We will just have to wait until later this week to formally thank *****, Executive Customer Service, as with that intervention we will be satisfied and our association with this poorly run store can end. read more

Bewareif hiring installation service from Lowes. Purchased windows and door in June 2022 and the installation process was horrible. Installers are through a third party company. After a year trying to get problems fixed, I had to hire another company to fix what they kept cancelling and delaying, inspecting and never fixing the problems. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to the management staff of the Show Low Lowe's for doing something that should be done more often. The managers stood up for their employees as they were being verbally abused by a customer, we'll call him Jay. Jay exited and returned to the store several times to yell and intimidate several employees with an aggressive and threatening attitude. Upon his third time coming back into the store in just a few minutes, one of the managers told him to leave the store because of the way he was treating the employees. Mistakes happen people, and deciding to act like a child throwing a tantrum is absolutely idiotic. Be an adult and treat people with respect, and they'll be more likely to act the same. Kudos to the staff and managers for standing up to a violent person. The customer, in this case, was not right to act the way he did, and getting kicked out of the store was earned. We bought a sliding patio door. Very happy with the quality. Issues with the screen latch. Salesman was very responsive.

For years, few departments had workers that were willing to help. They refuse to even acknowledge we are here, let alone ask if we need help. We understand that they are busy and have many tasks to juggle, but it's extremely frustrating that the lack of customer service occurs every single time we come. Right now, a worker has been ignoring us for 15 minutes and another worker saw we needed help, made eye contact, and turned around, walking away. Friendly Cashiers, Terrible Pro Desk So to make a long story short when I visit this Lowe's I am greeted by friendly cashiers and staff... If you try to visit the pro department though it is like you are bothering them to get a quote. I have tried several times to let Lowe's quote on jobs I am working on and it's like pulling teeth at this location to get the quote if you can get one. The pro department has weird hours so If you are trying to get a quote here, good luck... Last time I emailed my quote and then didn't hear back for nearly 2 weeks so I stopped in because I wanted to grab a few things anyway. The guy didn't know what I was talking about and then he finally found my quote and promised to email it right over to me. Over a week later I got the quote in a confusing format and I had already bought at Home Depot across the road... I don't know that I will waste my time here with the pro department again. Reader's Digest Version: Store and supplies are fine. Employees helpful. But you are on your own for loading your vehicle and today I was actively hassled for loading my vehicle in what appears to be the loading zone. Long Version: We are building our own house and Home Improvement stores are our second home. We have done the majority of our purchases (about 70%) at the Show Low Lowes for the past few years but that has changed today. Obviously, Lowes is doing just fine and does not need our money. What happened today? As usual, I went in and did my shopping - lately, it's almost all been lumber. As usual, I had a nice conversation with the really neat gal at the checkout. And as usual, I pushed my cart out to load up my $300 in lumber. I am 51 years old, 5'4 and weigh 125 pounds and the heavy cart is difficult for me to navigate, so as usual, I went to go get my truck to park in the shaded area, to load. As usual, Lowes employees walked by in both directions as I loaded my lumber, but no one offered to assist. (At least three times in the recent past, other customers have stopped what they were doing to help me load, because Lowes employees almost never help me load). But THIS TIME, some Lowes employee - I am guessing a low level manager feeling like she needed to exercise some power - sent another employee out to tell me that I was not allowed to park there. Here I am, loading all this heavy lumber into my truck by myself and instead of offering to help me load, this manager (--Who I THINK was one of Lowes employees who walked by while I was loading - ?) tells this poor young man to come out and hassle me?! OBVIOUS ALTERNATE SOLUTIONS: 1) Put an obvious sign up saying that people cannot load in what appears to be (and is used by everyone as) the loading zone. 2) The manager should have deigned to get her hands dirty and help me load herself, if she did not want me parked there. OBVIOUSLY THINGS HAPPEN FASTER WITH HELP. 3) The manager should have at least had the proverbial balls to come talk to me herself, rather than send some poor young man out to do her bidding. 4) Actually spend the $ to have some dedicated people out there who actually help older, not-muscle-bound people load their goods into their trucks. I am really livid at this manager's actions and her cowardly action to send someone else to 'shoo' my bothersome elderly self away, rather than to think proactively and maybe send the same kid over to give me a hand. It - together with Lowes employees no longer bothering to help customers (or at least me!) load their trucks sends a very clear message that I am, at best, an inconvenience to them. Do not be concerned, Anonymous Female Manager. My truck will be across the street now, at Home Depot, for everything I can manage to buy over there. read more

It's Lowe's so what you really say. They have a better selection then Home Depot but worse customer service. Since I figure service accounts for 20% of the price I'm paying I usually go to Home Depot. If Lowe's is 20% less I will shop here or if nobody else has what I need. Honestly I usually shop online. I go to Lowes instead of the place across the street because they have been happy to offer me the veterans discount, which usually pays for the tax on my purchases. I have been doing that for a couple of years. Then one day I ran into Barbara Gresser. Just be careful of her if you have the mis-fortune to see her at the check-out line. She is obstinate, self absorbed, and not very good at customer service. I asked her to type in my phone number for the veterans discount and handed her a credit card (with my full name on it) and she stuck her nose up and demanded to see my drivers license. I informed her that No other Lowes employee Ever asked me to see my license to make a purchase there. She was huffy and basically accused me of lying about the veterans discount. When I told her it was no business of hers to check my drivers license when my name was on the credit card she was undaunted and called out a manager who came and settled her dispute. Ever since I had moved up here in north eastern Arizona, I have been disappointed with how slow everything moves around here. Every store, every service company and everyone move at snail speed. No one seem to care about competition for business. Perhaps the economy is good enough that they don't have to compete. Well, they will all suffer when the economy takes a down turn. I had never expected big box stores to fall into this same mentality. To my surprised, Home Depot, Lowe's, CAL Ranch, Harbor Freight, ACE hardware, and the rest are all the same in Show Low, AZ. However, this particular instance and blame can't fall fully on the Lowe's store in Show Low as I ordered the 2 items online and to be shipped to my home. Shortly after I placed the order, I received a text from Lowe's that the order is ready for pick up. WTH? I was frustrated but I did not have the time to deal with it right away so I ignored it. Then the next day, I received another text stating that my order is on the way. WTH? I figured that they must have realized they made a mistake about my order and fixed it for delivery. Then 2 days later, I get another text reminding me not to forget to pick up my order at the store. WTH? Then the next day, I get yet another text message stating that the shipment is delayed. WTH? So I had decided to get online and chat with their customer service. After checking the status of my order, CSR said, one of my order is on its way to my home and the other is waiting to be picked up. WTH? I was so frustrated so I asked to cancel my order and he instructed me to call Customer Service to cancel. WTH? Well, I will just wait for one of my orders to arrive and the other will get picked up when I get back into town this weekend. I live off-grid so I do most of my shopping online. I have never had so much problem like Lowe's. I order a lot from Dollar General, Oyo of Just Asian Food, Ebay, B&H Photo, etc... They are all wonderful to deal with. Never had an issue. Tractor Supply and EXO Drones are other lame online services. They jacked up my orders multiple times. I hope this is helpful to everyone. read more

Eric, the salesman at the store, was courteous and very helpful. When I told him I needed the delivery to Snowflake, he said it looked like they wouldn't be able to do it until next Wednesday. When I completed the sale and he checked for delivery availability, he was able to get it to me this Friday, just two days after the sale! On delivery day, they called to confirm I was available. Once they arrived, they went right to work and had my washer, dryer, and refrigerator up and running (including change of door swing) in 45 minutes. I just can't say enough about Jesús and Erik's professionalism and expediency! I'll definitely be returning to this store for my needs I can't get fulfilled locally! read more

ZERO STARS!!! DON'T buy any major appliance from this Lowe's. And DON'T buy the extended warranty if you do. We've had nothing but problems getting two very expensive generators repaired. Both are under the extended warranty, and instead of the 15-day turn-around guaranteed on the repair, we're approaching two months now, with still no end in sight. I was treated rudely by the support manager, and my wife was essentially dismissed by the store manager. As a matter of fact, if I hear "It'll be ready next week" one more time, I think I'll find an attorney and take them to court. We will never buy anything from Lowe's again, and we strongly recommend that anyone buying there be aware of the risk they take. I called and spoke to Danny Hawkins to do a fencing job at my property outside of Show low area. Within an hour he drove out to my property and called me and walked the property and discussed it with me. He took all measures to make sure we had everything right. In addition, he checked my Lowes card and got me approved for an increase so I could get 24 months 0% interest to finance the Fence job. From the phone call to the installation was less than 2 weeks. He called and text me on everything. I highly recommend Danny at Lowes and Frontier Fencing who performed the work to get the job complete. We purchased a new front door for our home in Pinetop from Lowe's in Show Low. We also paid $300 + for installation arranged by Lowe's. They installed the door on July 1, 2019. The door itself is very nice, the installation was anything but. It was a very sloppy job, framing uneven, nothing was lined up correctly, excessive holes left in trim, very little insulation put around the frame, even our security door was reinstalled incorrectly. This was all done by a contracted crew from Lowe's. We called the sales person, customer service, customer care, store manager, installation manager.... all ignored our request to have our door installation corrected. Finally, after 5 weeks of waiting and calling my husband fixed the job himself. We had to purchase additional materials to make the repairs. Lowe's took no action to correct the work of their contractors. After all was said and done, they did credit my husbands account for $100. We will never use Lowe's again. If they can not support the work their contractors do, they will not get our business. This was so disappointing, I really thought they were a reliable company. read more

This rebate program is a piece of crap. It took almost 40 minutes to complete the damn thing. I still don't know how much they are really sending. You need a powerful magnifying glass just to read all the small print needed to complete. What I do understand is that even though all the registers are part of a central hub computer and should be able to automatically set up the rebates, Lowe's "customer care" policy is to frustrate you enough that you give up the rebates putting more bucks in their stockholders account. Good quality goods, competitive prices, good service, BUT once you buy something that needs to be DELIVERED good luck. I'ts a waiting game unless you know someone that works there or your're a well known contractor or good friend. Also some people there have said its a problem when you only have one big delivery truck with forklift maybe during the summertime rush they should consider another truck and lift. Horrible experience, but they offered us a discount on our full kitchen appliance purchase to try and make up for it. Should have run to Home Depot, but thought, how could it happen again. Made the order in store and thought all went smoothly. Wrong!! Was supposed to get "delivery" yesterday but the delivery drivers would not come down our road, too muddy they said. Ok, let's put them in our pickup and drive them in. Ok, but we can't help you with the unloading, sir... sent them back. Spoke to Mike a manager, and he had us set up today. Only to find out that they were only going to deliver, not set up. No one ever mentioned this prior, that we needed to pay to have someone actually set them up. Why not tell me this at the store so it can be set up? So instead of trying to help us they are refunding the money. What a waste of time and energy.
