The Home Depot in Show Low is rapidly deteriorating to the point of no return...literally, I will no longer return to shop there in Show Low. Their online Show Low "in stock" inventory NEVER matches their actual in-store inventory. Also, It's virtually impossible to get anyone there to assist you in finding items in their store. Their online website is in chaos regarding credit card status that no longer allows purchasing anything online anymore. Lowes is a great alternative to the mess that is now the Home Depot in Show Low. No issues when shopping at Lowes. Prices at Lowes are very similar to Home Depot's prices. read more

I have to share this unexpected experience my partner and I had at Home Depot recently. We were tackling a couple of big projects and ran into a bit of a snag--my partner had an injury and wasn't able to lift the 30 ten-foot two-by-fours and several sheets of particleboard we needed. Out of nowhere, Tony approached us and asked if we needed help. Honestly, I was expecting just a little assistance, but what happened next was truly above and beyond. Tony practically did all the heavy lifting for us! He took the wood to the register, making the whole process so much easier. What really stood out was how friendly Tony was. He seemed so genuinely happy to help, and his positive attitude was infectious. He even offered me a pair of gloves to borrow so I wouldn't get slivers while I was helping out. That kind of thoughtfulness and kindness is so rare these days! Every trip we've made to this Home Depot has been really good, but this particular visit was something special, thanks to Tony. Went into the Show Low Home Depot to buy sand to build my kids a sand pit. What I didn't know was the sand bags were 50 pounds each! I had two toddler in my cart and I'm pregnant and when I asked an employee, Roger where the sand was he so kindly got a flat cart for me, walked to the sand with me loaded the bags walked it to the register waited for me to pay and then walked to my car with me and loaded it in my car for me! Beyond grateful and I hope management and Home Depot sees this cause Roger was the best and I hope he gets recognized for his above great customer service. Worst online ordering experience of my life. I ordered a Forno gas range with a ship date range of a week out. After a couple weeks, I decided to call and check with customer service, turns out they had no information. I contacted Forno and got a tracking number from a company called hub group who handles Home Depot shipments. Tried contacting them via customer service after three weeks yet again when it showed my range was in Flagstaff for two weeks due to a weather delay, mind you it is sunny and above 60° outside for the past couple weeks. I woke up this morning to find Home Depot had canceled my order, saying that the shipment was lost. They couldn't find it and had refunded me my money. Spend your money elsewhere and actually receive what you order, after all there is a Lowe's right across the street very disappointed with Home Depot. I will never spend another dime there again after spending $60,000 in the past couple months on a full remodel of my house. read more

The worst Home Depot I have ever shopped at. Either the manager doesn't care enough to know what a train wreck his store is or he knows and doesn't care enough to do anything about it. The store has steadily declined over the years but lucky for them the decline is over because they have hit rock bottom. The customer "service" desk is staffed by the nastiest people possible. Assuming they answer the phone in less than 20 rings you will basically wish they hadn't answered at all. Curbside pickup is a joke. Excessively long wait - 30 minutes on last visit, and I do mean last because I am done with the store. Picking up in store is a guaranteed long wait and you have to deal with the aforementioned customer service people. Delivery is just as bad. Type all the instructions/directions you want but it will be ignored and you will be left waiting while the truck wanders through the county. There is quite literally nothing to recommend about this store. read more

After readingother reviews of this store I think there needs to be a revamp of customer care. I had my own horrible experience today. I went into Home Depot to get supplies to build on my property. I needed 2x4x20s and asked a young man where they might be and he just said, "Over There" We went where he said and we found nothing. So we proceeded to get some of the wood we needed and a nice man that was shopping there helped us with getting our wood. There was a girl walking around, but she never offered any help. Finally I tracked her down and asked her for help getting a pallet of 2x4x8s and this girl telss us, "Whats wrong with the wood down here"? I informed her we needed a pallet. So she shontered down the isle to find someone to help. Her name was Ruby and then the guy she had help with a forklift came and they made us pay 1st and we were not done shopping. So we paid and met them outside with our truck and trailer and when Rob came around with the forklift, we asked him to put it in the trailer and he said that he couldn't. We were like WHAT? We wish they would have told us this before we spent 1140.00 on material. Ron then just put the pallet down on the ground and drove away. Ron or Ruby never offered to help or send out a loader to help with this pallet of 2x4x8s that we had. My husband is disabled and it took us almost an hour to load into our trailer piece by piece. This should not even have happened. While we were loading this forklift with Ron driving it helped someone else load stuff on there trailer. Makes you wonder why thats ok and not helping us was not ok. I left there super upset and sore. I will not buy that much wood from there again. Home Depot is the not too fancy of the hardware and home repair and remodeling stores. We go here often (as you can see by my check-ins) to get basic supplies and tools. There are other stores that may have specialized tools or more upscale inventory but Home Depot fits our needs. Service is good. The workers are easy enough to find and knowledgeable about the inventory in the store and what aisle to find it. We've asked for some pretty unusual items and they know just where to fix it. The store is neat and well organized and inventory is stocked so they don't run out of things that often. There are plenty of checkouts so you aren't standing waiting in lines. I definitely recommend Home Depot and will be back. read more

Went into HD as last resort for a quality DIY I had in mind to assist my cat for staying near the vehicle when we go to parks. Asked several people about the pieces I wanted to put together. Was able to locate something that seemed to work. Went to check out. Self checkout. All went well. Issue was the escort out of the facility and then to my vehicle. I will not ever be back. HD. I called simply to order 150 yards of carpet and pad for my home. I dialed into the Flooring department and the gentleman there told me the pro desk had to help me to order 150 yards of carpet and pad. I got the pro desk and they were laughing saying how come he had sent me to them and I said I don't know it's your company. You put me on hold forever so I called back and got the Flooring department again and told him that I need to order 150 yards of a typically in stock carpet and pad that they did not have enough of. We went through the whole process finally got it, and he ran my card and said it declined, which was not possible. He ran it again and he said it declined again so he said had to talk to a manager so then he went up to the front desk area. The manager was on lunch. The manager called me back and told me that the carpet hadn't been ordered and I told him, "There are two charges on my bank account" and he said I had to wait to see what happened with those charges for three days and he could still not order the product, even though it hit my bank account twice! So now it's gonna take longer than the 2 to 3 weeks to get the carpet and I have to wait till these charges go from a pending so I can dispute them as fraudulent. Horrible service, horrible business operations and they really don't have people that know what they're doing. read more

The self check out is frustrating. In June there was a problem with paying for product and the employee was deer in head lights no help. Today went in and we asked assistance in self check out so the problem wasn't repeated. The lady would not comprehend what our simple needs were and helped a man in a mobile chair. We waited til he was done. Other customers filled up the remaining kiosk. My mother wanted her to help her she chose to belittle where the line starts. I said we were waiting and need your help we were already here. She kept insisting we get in line. Lady we were next why didn't she process that. She just didn't comprehend and a customer went back in line and let us in. He got what the issue was as we get to a kiosk she was nice and helpful to everyone else. She still ignored while paying and double checking everything was properly scanned. Then the payment process became an issue and still nothing so double time instead of her coming over pushing some buttons to make transaction faster. The only reason there is a one star is because "0" isn't an option and the paint guy gave a nice greeting. read more

This location has really poor customer service. If you know what you want and where it's at, they have a good selection and can get in and out fairly quickly. If you don't you'll be wandering around for a long time until you find it on your own or you give up on frustration. They have a great tool and equipment rental section, which is nice when you don't want to buy an expensive piece of equipment that you'll only use a couple of times. read more

She has a can do attitude. Will in Pro also is very polite and intends to do well for customers... Both of them are usually totally bombarded by a line of customers and at times a seemingly endless barraging of phone calls that one must sit and wait through. This making being a business customer difficult as one does not always desire 1-3 hours at Home Depot. - 4 out of 5 stars for The Paint Department: despite being swamped sometimes always seems to get the job done and give good advice. The killer being sometimes there are no customers and things are fast, other times there is a mad rush and it takes longer than one would like. - 5 out of 5 stars: The Asian appliance delivery guy was super awesome. Great sense of humor and a talented artist as well! - 3 out of 5 stars for Lumber, Roofing and Concrete Delivery on big truck: This is where the troubles begin. Scheduling is quite difficult and at times a longer wait to get materials than one would like. Once you get scheduled you will send all your guys to a job sometimes and they will be sitting there waiting for the truck that is supposed to be there at 8 to 10 AM only to find out at noon at the truck isn't coming anymore because they have a customer with a delivery that is more important and took the truck that was already loaded and sent it back to be unloaded just to load for someone else but apparently is more valuable than you are. Home Depot is a great all around reliable source for decent products at fair prices with plentiful locations all around the USA! The main troubles with this store are as follows: 1. Deliveries are absolutely disorganized and sometimes don't even show up the day they schedule you. I had them make 4 trips to a single jobsite before because they kept forgetting part of the order. On another job they said the truck had issues but the driver told the customer he was called back to unload our order for a more important delivery! Deliveries are made by a third part Service and the entire system needs to be reconstructed! 2. Pro Desk gets absolutely swamped at times and it can take hours before you can place an order between all the phone calls and customers piling up on that end of the store. This is not easy when you are running multiple job sites for a company. One cannot allot hours merely to place a simple order. 3. I don't want to call the guy out by name but the least motivated human in history works in the lumber department and the Pro Desk asked him to pull my lumber order while we finished the rest of my order. He responded "I'll see if I can" and walked away with the paperwork and spent nearly 2 hours hiding and using his cellphone while leaning against the lumber racks instead of loading product. I asked him several times and he replied "I'm working on it" for something that would have taken 10 minutes if he was inclined to work... Other than that it is what you would expect... Just some room for improvement.... I don't want to be mean as there are a bunch of hard working people taking care of business here. Last week went to shop for a new dryer. Finding the one we wanted was easy. Paying for it even easier. To get it delivered to our home a few problems there. At the store we got a delivery date of today (15th June 2018) okay I will take that day off from work. Sitting at home waiting for the new dryer to come. Get a call from home depot that they don't deliver to my area on Fridays only on Wednesdays. Yeah great now I have to try and take another day off in short time. I'm extremely disappointed with Home Depot's home delivery. The last two items I have ordered have not arrived. The first was damaged in shipment. I was supposed to get a refund but I have not. As if this moment I'm out $500. On the second delivery, the delivery truck broke down. So they are rescheduling my delivery to sometime in the future. Ordered 10 gals of paint waited 30 mins asked about the paint told their busy (no other customers waiting) another 15 mins still no paint ask again need another 15 mins still no paint another employee shows up he starts helping another customer I ask him how much longer he asked if I already ordered told him yes its there on the counter he looks at the order asked questions about the order and says 15 mins after 15 mins he hands me 2 1gallon pails which I asked is this my order he say yes I ordered 2 5 gallon pails 10 gallons total he looks at the order says your correct need another 15-20 minutes. I been there for 1.5 hours. Asked to talked to the manager told him the situation basically showed no interest told him maybe I will take my business to Lowe's he looked at me and said have a nice day. I don't always take Him up on the Help, this due to - both my Wife and I feel like we need the workout. But John has always asked both my Wife and if we need Help. I always see John Help others in the Park area where Customers need help with loading. When He's not helping Customers, He's out collecting Carts from the parking lot. You don't always see your employee's, and they don't always get a warm welcome from every Customer, and that's because those Customers feel like they are the only Customer at your Store, or they should have been helped first. I had done my homework, so when I walked in the door I knew exactly which hot water heater I wanted. From walk in to walk out was around 15 min. I picked out, was escorted to the cashier, and home delivery was arranged for, which has already arrived the next day, which was first thing in the morning. Normally, I would give this Home Depot a good review as long as you're there 15 minutes before they close. I am editing or adding to this review. I had put one star, but after today I am upgrading it to 5 stars. Yesterday We had ordered online a lot of stuff to be delivered and in-store pick up. We showed up to pick everything up and found that there was a problem with the order. The store was not able to pick the items for us because the online system treated the whole order as fraud. The online services charged us for some of the things we bought and would not process the rest. Kim the CSR at the service desk spent just about three hours on the phone with credit services and online services to fix the mistake. She went well beyond to help us today. Matt, Cory and kelly finished up our order after we went and pick up everything we needed after Kim had got the order cancelled. These four representatives of Home Depot are what I and many other customers hope to get when we are there. Although it took many hours to get things right, we are very happy with this store and their team members. Great job and thank you very much for all the help. read more

I'm buying a few acres and will need a small loader/gannon tractor. No rates on the one I need. So I hit the button that says "ring to open door', which doesn't open. Go inside, one guy waiting, two guys working on a piece of equipment. We wait. Another customer comes in and we wait. He leaves, the two of us wait. Then I left. The first guy was still waiting when I turned the corner. Fortunately, there are a couple other rental shops that probably want my money. No business can be perfect all the time, but with all the employees in the store, this seemed unnecessary. read more

It's unfortunate that I'm not able to give this store zero stars. We recently made an online order of kitchen cabinets shipped to store for pickup. We got all the cabinets home and unloaded only to find that the damage which I admittedly saw at the store (but chose to ignore because it was the rear of the cabinet) was just a small sample of what we received, which included damaged and missing legs, hinges and frames. Customer Service at this local store (after being passed back and forth to several departments) suggests they are unable to do anything unless we load the cabinets back up and bring them back to the store - told we need to contact HD online. 90 minutes into that endeavor and still haven't spoken to a human. Thousands of dollars spent at HD every month to support my business officially ends with this experience. Never again. read more

On July 25th, we ordered a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave from Home Depot to be delivered on September 8th. On September 7th, the online Home Depot delivery showed it was to be delivered on time on September 8th so we sold our microwave. It was late in the day on the 8th and we never received our delivery window, so we called Home Depot and was given their contactor number to call. Mistake one - it is YOUR contractor! HOME DEPOT should be calling to find out what happened not us! Reluctantly, we called the delivery service and was told that not all appliances were in and they wouldn't deliver a partial or let us pick it up. The microwave and refrigerator were available and we really could have used them. The next delivery date was 3 weeks away on September 28th. On September 27th, again the online delivery date showed September 28th delivery. On the 27th, we wanted to confirm so we weren't burned again and called Home Depot only to be given THEIR contactor to call. Horrible customer service! We called the delivery service and was on hold two separate times for over an hour each only to be cut off at the end of the day because they closed. So we called Home Depot again that evening and was told all 4 appliances would be delivered between 10:30-2:30 tomorrow. We asked, "Are you sure"? They replied, "Yes, they are on the first truck and you are the 3rd stop". Well, that was a lot of detail and we had our confirmation on delivery so we sold the three remaining appliances. Since we got our confirmation, the party that bought our appliances came and picked them up early afternoon on delivery day. By 2:00 on the delivery day, (10:30-2:30 window) we hadn't received the 30 minute delivery call. We were on the phone to Home Depot again, we were told that they would NOT be delivering our appliances that day because they are over booked. Here is the real kicker - we wouldn't be getting appliances until October 15th! They bumped us out 2 weeks and could care less that we didn't have ANY appliances because of their incompetence. No refrigerator, no stove, no microwave, no dishwasher to use. We are living out of coolers and have no way to warm up food. We diligently confirmed that they would be delivering our 4 appliances on the 28th and we were burned TWICE. Never again Home Depot! We will go to Lowe's right across the street. read more

If you know exactly what you need, this might be a good place, but trying to get somebody to help you is almost impossible. We asked for help from a guy in the kitchen area, but when we told him we were just looking for one cabinet for a small project, he told us to go to the back wall to see what they have - he never even got out of his chair. Lowes walked us around and discussed the differences. She showed us ordering choices on the computer. We settled on a cabinet they have on the floor, but in a color they need to order. I guess The Home Depot doesn't need my $400 nor will they get my next order, regardless of how large it is. read more
