Parking lot is a disaster. Spaces too small. Can't even get out of your car. Too much junk outside, nowhere to walk. feel like your gonna get hit by a car. Lowe's customer service no longer exists and they are obviously not vetting their 3rd party vendors. I placed an order over 20 days ago and I have still not received it and Lowe's will not cancel the order and give me a refund. The order hasn't even shipped yet. Talking to customer service is like talking to a wall. This place is the worst. So happy Home Depot is coming to Smithfield and will drive the 45 minutes to get there for now to avoid Lowes. read more

They suck! The manager is a lair. 5 days waiting for a delivery. The manager say's it will be today, nothing but lies. He is a good sales man for HOME DEPOT. Just spent 10 grand at home depot. There the manager has a lot of education on building products. Lowes manager does not know much, but a great lair. He cost me 3 grand this week. Can not run a business like this. This store is the worst and you can not even get help from the main office on the phone. Home Depot please come to Smithfield. Every contractor hates Lowes here. Do not buy anything that isn't in store and needs to ordered. Over 6 months later, fridge with missing front panels and fencing never came in. To remedy the problem they canceled the order without notification. We were just supposed to know! Won't give us a discount for incomplete fridge. Customer service is a JOKE. If I could post zero stars I would. When it comes to Lowe's handling of a kitchen cabinet purchase, I am beside myself that we wasted so much money, time, and energy. We started the process in January of 2022. The appointed subcontractors arrived for measurements and ordered my mother-in-law's cabinets with a estimated delivery of March 2022. Six months later the cabinets were delivered! We asked for the installer to come by to check the inventory and condition. Roughly 75% of the cabinets were delivered damaged. Drawer fronts and trim work were either missing or damaged. Then to add insult to injury, he remeasured the kitchen and the cabinet layout was improperly measured. So we started again with replacement order. Have I mentioned that the promise of "you can reuse your granite countertops because it's the same footprint" was a lie. In fact it was a $1500 error that my husband had to pay so she would have counters! With the exception of Tom in cabinets and Rob the store manager, the ineptitude and outright lack of communication by the majority of the staff is mind-blowing. The subcontractor, who delivers and provides replacements, is useless. In fact, they have outright refused to return calls or even acknowledged that we have an ongoing open order. About four months ago, I picked up what I thought were the replacement cabinet faces and trim. I was wrong. It was either damaged or the wrong part. After multiple calls, visits, special orders again and again, and a million empty promises of "oh, we'll call you back once we investigate", it is now mid-June 2023 and the kitchen still remains unfinished. Oh...and my father-in-law has terminal cancer....thanks to Lowe's for the incredible amount of undue stress to the family. Based on our experience, do NOT purchase cabinets from Lowes. RUN in the other direction and take your money elsewhere. read more

Awful, just dreadful. They had my 91 year old Grandmother take up her floor, only to have them try to get an extra $1000 out of her because they figured she would have no choice but to pay. They lost a $4000 sale because of this. Staff was extremely rude. They tried to put her refund on a gift card. I would be very careful having them do anything more than ring you up for items on registers. read more

This place stinks! Bought a riding mower and it took 35 minutes to get ANYONE to unlock the mower and load into my truck. And this was after we went in and asked where is the help so I can get the mower I just bought. If we hadn't asked 4 times then I think I would still be waiting. Yes this is 3 days later. Finally this guy comes out and asks if I have a ramp otherwise they couldn't load it. Are you freaking serious. I'm sorry isn't this a home improvement store? I was in the return line by this point. My wife came to get me that they were loading it. They could of cared less whether I got loaded or not. The customer service in ALL Lowes stores has become worse and worse but this is definitely the worse experience by far!!! Good riddance!!!! read more

Delivered Wet wood, wood has black mold, one set of the wood had been sitting in water and was warped. Can't get the store on the phone. When we're connected with the lumber dept, they pick up and then hang up on us. They did it 6 times. Called the Operator/Desk, same thing. Horrendous. Wow it's the general public not Lowes employees, but their are lots of products there made in China and mast produced and problably disposable. If you buy something, you better look, but it can be done. I had to pick one, but one out of two pairs of manual shears were made in China. read more

Pulled up to get supplies for a compressor and nailer, and stapler to find they locked up an hour early with no signage or anything even though online, their own website, and front door show open until 10 pm and it was 9:15 pm. read more

I've always had great service at the customer service desk but found it difficult to find help on the sales floor. When I did find someone to help most of them did not seem too happy to help. I have seen a situation where a lowes associate tried to avoid helping by joining another associate that was helping another customer. read more

If you're going to offer curbside pick up you should at least acknowledge the customer. I used the app to let them know I'm on route. Got there and put in that I was there. Waited 15min or maybe more. I then called and someone answered then put me on hold, phone rings again then goes in busy signal. I called again several times and this time no one answers and goes directly to the busy signal. I finally walked in the store and asked an employee to get someone for the curbside pick up and ofcourse I waited awhile again only to be told he's on the way later on. Then I was finally told to pull up my truck at the loading area. I waited once again. Someone finally shows up with 10bags of cheap dirt. I ordered 20. He loads up the 10 and luckily I parked next to their cheap dirt so he loaded more from that end. I counted to make sure he was loading the correct amount. I counted 19. I told him i only counted 19 and he assured me there was 20 and walked off. I went back to count and the ofcourse there was 19. I said excuse me and he continued to walk. I know he heard me when he looked my way but ofcourse he continued to walk. So why would Lowe's try to short change me on the cheapest dirt they have? Went in to the garden center and asked for mgr. Mgr didn't show up so I went back to my truck and saw an employee in the vicinity and asked him where his mgr was and luckily he was walking towards the employee. Told the mgr I wanted to file a complaint. He asked who helped and ofcourse I haven't a clue. He commented that he saw me earlier but I guess I wasn't his problem? Anyways, took an hour just to do a curbside pick up for their super cheap dirt early in the morning. Their curbside pick up wait time and customer service really aches and this is not the first time I've had to wait a long time for a curbside pickup. read more

Bought a ShopVac wet/dry. Directions say if parts missing, call the company. There is only a recording saying to leave a message, then stating the recorder is full. Unable to contact the com(ShopVac) via the website. I guess we're gonna have to return this thing! Such a disappointment. read more

Wife and I bought a dishwasher from the store in Smithfield store three weeks ago, they told me that the dish washer had com in about two weeks later. They set up the install date for 05/25/18 the installer went to the store and was told we don't have it. So I called the store and am getting the run around from the department manager, and then he asked me what would you like for me to do ( not smart ) I just would like my dish washer today as promised. I will have to call you back he said. What a bad and poor customer service. Not getting my money ever again, from now on its Home Depot.... read more
