I was already feeling defeated before my arrival, as I was purchasing items for a rental property and had a list from the contractor. Nevertheless, I was determined to do my best. Upon approaching the first item, I was promptly greeted by a young lady named Alaynah, who welcomed me with the warmest smile and assured me she would assist me throughout the process. It was not merely her calming demeanor, but also her extensive knowledge of the required materials and more. In all my years, I have never received such exemplary service at this store, and she deserves personal commendation for making it stand out. I like this location. I really did enjoy how everything is organized and clean. The garden center is very well kept unlike other places. The staff is super nice and attentive. I just wish they had more registers open and some of the plants don't have a bar code. That was an issue and we waited a while to get the price. So, not a stellar experience at Lowe's today. Placed an order, but needed a few items, so we parked and went in and got our items. Went through self-checkout and the stylus was missing. We tried our fingers and the plastic part on the cord, but nothing would let us advance. We noticed the man using the machine ahead of us was frustrated too... Guessing that's why. We called over the attendant who was extraordinarily rude. We then went out to our vehicle and moved to curbside pickup to get our cabinets delivered to the truck. Three numbers on the sign and none of them were operational. I get we're in a crisis state, but rudeness and lack of service is really still not acceptable. Update: My husband went in and the lady inside told him to drive around to the back, so we did. The guy in the back said to go back around to the front. Left this review for wrong store across town on Capital Circle. Extremely disappointed. No help anywhere, but plenty of employees. I asked people in paint dept if they could call someone for me, but I was told to go to Customer Service... where there was a line. I pointed that out and they had someone call for me. I waited over 30 mins...no one ever came. During this time I searched the internet, found what I needed. The guy who requested the assistance for me walked by, told him no one ever came, that it wasn't his fault and I went to front to ask for a manager. He never came. I left and went to Home Depot...complete shock, emoyees were super nice, greeted me in different depth that I walked through and ACTUALLY helped me. I went to Lowes because I considered them a little more upscale, pretty, clean, whereas Home Depot is more of a construction look, but their service was a 10, by far surpassing Lowes and leaving it in the dust. Employees at Lowes looked unhappy, not very customer service oriented. I'll be placing my Lowes card away and using Home Depot. I hope HD keeps it up and it wasn't a fluke. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. I just moved into a home where the tile in the kitchen wasn't fully completed. I went to another home improvement store with no luck but actually found the same tile on the model kitchen display at the store. I told one of the employees that I am looking to purchase the same exact tile as seen on the display and he looked at me and started walking so I kinda just followed him and he led me to the tile isle. He points to the selection of tiles on the wall and starts to walk away. Again, I informed him that I'm looking for the exact tile just like the one on their store display and he says "I don't know what your tile looks like...you know what it looks like" and went about his way. read more

We tried to buy a fire pit, picked it out and were ready but needed help because it was wedged in (aisle 27) and we couldn't get it out. There was an employee over there but she was with a couple people so we didn't bother her and had someone paged. We waited, but to no avail. As we left we noticed the guys the employee was with were actually employees they just had shirts over anything that would ID them as an employee. I understand that times are different during COVID but to hang up on people because YOU forget to call them to let them know their order is ready after 10 days is absolutely unacceptable. None of the staff I had contact with at the Lowes on West Capital Circle were wearing masks. The store moved its on-line order pick up from just inside the doors to the service desk where customers were standing toe to toe awaiting service by un-masked employees and were eventually sent to the rear of the store to pick up their orders. I am a disabled veteran who needed help loading lumber--I waited 35 minutes and when someone finally showed up, they were rude and surly. My brother went several days later and waited 45 minutes to get some wire cut--he asked to talk to a manager and the guy at customer service called one on the phone but the manager never came by--the customer service rep just shrugged his shoulders. I have been going to this Lowes for many years. I bought a 80 gallon Kobalt Compressor there that got worse to the point it was faulty, and they honored taking it back due to it being faulty even though I didn't have a receipt. This was a year after I bought it. They have a great selection of nuts, bolts , and other fasteners that Home Depot doesn't even have. Due to being prior military I get 10% off which comes in handy. I went to Home Depot with a friend the other day and they only gave 10% off part of the purchase, Lowes always gives me 10% off the whole purchase. Staff is always been very friendly knowledgeable and willing to help me anytime. The service was completely atrocious. I've been there several times regarding installing floors, and every time I was treated like I was stupid (presumably because I'm female) and they kept trying to rip me off with all sorts of added fees they couldn't tell me what were for when I asked. After I already made the purchase (and that happened only bc they offered to give me a good discount, hence the 2 stars instead of 1), they miscalculated the amount if materials needed and insisted in refunding my order to recharge me, but no one in the entire store knew how to refund only part of an order etc. so I waited for 30 minutes at the register watching 4 employees scrambling and complaining about their own system to me, which didn't amuse me one bit. Any time something had to be changed on a computer, like pricing based on a different style of hardwood, I had to wait 30+ min. The employees had no regard for my time as a customer, which is really important to me, and I'd guess most people shopping, and I never take lightly being given false information. Honestly, I don't think they were intentionally trying to overcharge me constantly and lying to make the sale, but rather they are just totally incompetent. read more

I gave them a one star only because there was not anything lower. Worst customer service ever! Bought a refrigerator and trying to get it delivered was a nightmare. The person who sold me the refrigerator was great but the folks answering the telephone are HORRIBLE. The refrigerator was not in when my delivery date was scheduled. The next day they called and left a message saying it was in and booked delivery five days out. I tried calling back to get the date switched to an earlier date. I was put on hold and disconnected seven times. I was told I needed to speak to a manager. I finally got someone who said they couldn't help me nor could the store manager ( who was in a meeting) and that I needed to call back the next morning (early) so I could speak to someone in delivery. I called the next day (early) and was disconnected three times. I finally spoke to someone and she stated "oh I know who this is." She then told me they changed my delivery date to the next day. I asked to speak to the manager and was told "she is in a meeting." If this is how Lowe's treats it customers and how it works to have something delivered, I will shop elsewhere. Poor customer service!!!! Purchased Fridgidaire refrigerator from Lowes during kitchen remodel. Within 1 month of install refrig began to make knocking noise. Called service dept at Lowes for service. After 1 month finally manufacturer repairman assessed and indicated needed replacement part. One month later no further communication from service. Several calls to Lowes with only response is to wait for repair service. Requesting repair or exchange. Caught in circle with Fridgidaire service and Lowes. Appears their Veterans discount policy has changed, as I was denied mine this date. I was told a DD214 is not acceptable as proof of service, except on Veterans Day. They only accept a driver's license with a "V" code, or a "Veterans Card"?. I explained/showed my license did not expire for another 3 years, and that a DD 214 was required to get the veterans notation on a license.
