We bought a washing machine at the Loew's in Troy OH on Sunday, March 24th, 2024. We were told that we would be called on Monday, the 25th to schedule a time on Tuesday for the delivery. We were also told that we would be called Tuesday before the delivery. We received NO CALL on Monday OR Tuesday. Finally on Tuesday afternoon, there was a knock on the door and our washer had arrived. However, the service guy took a 1 second look and told us he couldn't install the washer because the outlet would need an electrician to work on it first. Without an explanation, the service man left and took our washer with him. There is NOTHING WRONG with the outlet, but now Loew's says they can't deliver our washer until April 2nd. Our many phone calls to the store were met with many regrets, many phone transfers, many "on holds," but no help. Payton, the original salesman was very polite, but he couldn't help us either. Did Lowe's just scammed me?? I am saddening that I must give my favorite lumber store a bad rating. I've always preferred Lowe's over Home Depot but due to this incident I will most likely switch depending on the outcome. I shouldn't let one rotten apple ruin the good experiences I experienced at Lowe's. Lowes sent me an email stating that I've been up graded to a Silver Key status which includes several perks such as free shipping. I decided to try the free shipping since I needed a couple of bundles of insulation to complete my basement project. As I proceeded to check out there was no shipping cost to my order. But the day of the schedule delivery Lowes sent an email for the items purchased and they included a $80 (79.99) shipping fee and an open window for delivery between 1-6pm. I called the customer service regarding this delivery fee and she was polite and tried to help and get it resolved and the only thing she could come up with was that it was free shipping not delivery....??, the promotion email did not state anything of a difference between shipping and delivery. The customer service rep transferred me to her supervisor whom was not professional at all. He stated the same thing that it's for shipping and not delivery (then the items should have been shipped), he wouldn't take the fee off, he wouldn't cancel the order and he wouldn't give me the name or phone number of his supervisor. I ask him did I just get scammed by Lowes because I have the promo email stating all the perks and they are not honoring it. After the stressful phone conversation with a person who should not be in the position that he's in (customer services) I checked my Lowes account and 3 charges on my account. One on the day I placed the online order which was more then what I ordered and two other charges on the day that I called and complained about the shipping fee charge. Both charges also exceeded that dollar amount that I should have been charged. I had to call Synchrony bank (in charge of Lowes credit card) to report fraudulent charges. This issue is still being investigated but I wanted to share this horrific episode I'm going through. Has anyone else experienced issues like this with Lowes? read more

I purchased a dishwasher over one month ago. I paid to have Lowes install the dishwasher. The installer finally contacted me about 3 weeks after the purchase to install. The contractor no showed (costing my wife a vacation day). I went to Lowes and the team member in appliances told me the install had been rescheduled 3 times according to the contractor (Melton Plumbing). I was never aware of any of this. I called the 1800 install number and informed the rep I wanted a different installer due to their poor reviews and lack of customer service. I waited a week and called the install number back a 2nd time. The installer was Melton Plumbing again I took a vacation day and they no showed again. I went to Lowes to pick up my dishwasher and get a refund on my install, delivery, and haul away money I paid. I will never purchase appliance from Lowes again. Their excuse of it being the contractors fault is not acceptable. They are contracted through Lowes and by extension are a part of Lowes. The topper to all of this is the fact that I purchased gift cards from Kroger for the fuel points and bought my dishwasher with Lowes gift cards. My wife told the Lowes associates what we did and how many fuel points we got. In the next month we had 1600 fuel points stolen at the Kroger in Englewood. The only people who knew about the points were my wife and the two Lowes associates. I've had my Kroger fuel card for 15 years and never a problem, until I bought the dishwasher. i bought $100 Lows gift card from Kroger, next day (Jan 21)tried to buy some piping from Lowe's they asked the pin# I scratched off may be card was too old Number came out not even manager could help, called costumer service and it was answering machine, I paid with my visa cars. and could not get any live help and got disconnected many times they told me go back to Kroger. they weren't help either and wouldn't exchange the card because it was scratched. nice gentleman told me not sure but it might be 0097. It worked and showed $100. Today March 24 I wanted to buy some fruit fertilizer it show $0 and the card has never been used. never going back to Lowe's again worse place I have ever shopped. save your money, maybe issue had been resolved if they weren't so cheep to hire a live costumer service. read more

I feel I was cheated out of $50+ dollars on a return. They now charge a restocking fee but they also fail to let you know an item is special order when you purchase that item. They let me know only when I was returning the item. This was also an online order. Nothing custom made. read more

Rarely do I leave negative reviews, but woo child GHETTO! I walk in clearly wandering looking for something specific , but I can't even find the mindless goon ogling at me (with no greeting) when I first walked in. I finally found what I can to purchase, or at least the area since the display was a disaster. Finally, I make my selection, and the bumbling idiot who checks me out sees me struggling with my boxed fan, offers no help, tells me to flip it around (I just stared and pushed it closer), finally 'genius' finds the barcode , and continues to have a conversation with someone else after wordlessly handing me my receipt. What a complete joke. Curbside order placed, I proceeded to wait in the parking lot after "checking in" for over 30 minutes. Called the store to ask what was going on and was told "curbside people aren't working right now". How is that possible at 11am on a Sunday? I have never had an issue with CSPickup at any other Lowes, except this one. The lady told me that I could come in and pick it up myself, I explained to her that it was a very heavy item and without help I could not load it into my truck. She proceeded to say "well, then you'll have to come back". You mean to tell me that there isn't a single person in this entire lot that can help me load an item? The orange store is across the street, thanks for pushing my business there. It's really sad that accountability and overall courtesy has been completely dissolved nowadays. read more

Craftsman tool buyers beware. I bought a Craftsman pole saw 2 years ago that already has a bad electrical motor. Lowe's says they don't sell repair parts for Craftsman and Craftsman says they don't have replacement parts for it because it was bought from Lowe's. After multiple phone calls back and forth with the 2 I was unable to find an answer to my problem. Stay away from any craftsman tools from Lowe's! read more

Went to Lowe's tonight for a grille, Kim came right up asking us if we needed help, she went out of her way to help us. Raymond helped us disassemble the Grille and load it in our vehicle, he was so kind and helpful also. Then Vicki checked us out with a smile on her face and great customer service! So, I tried to order an item on the app and I wanted to use a Lowe's charge card. But, the app doesn't let you use a charge card to purchase. So we went to the Salem Ave store #42 on 05/08/23 at 18:09:45 to order it using the charge card: the first associate told us that the cashier can help us order it. so went to the cashier. The cashier said we have to go to the front desk. So we went to the front desk: one associate was leaning on the counter flirting or talking to two guys and talking to another girl who is pregnant. The girl who was leaning told us with an attitude that the pregnant girl can help me. I go up to the pregnant girl and she asked how she can help me. I told her we want to order something online. She got rude and I don't do that here. I tried to explain that I was told to come here and no one knows the answer. She got rude and spoke loud and said I don't do that, I do returns. The girl leaning didn't even know what I needed, why say she can help me? I said no one knows how to do their job and where are supposed to go. A guy with tattoos on his arms said with an annoyed I'll help you. The pregnant girl said and quote, " I don't fucking feel like dealing with this." So the guy with the tattoos on his arms takes us to the computer and orders it for us. We got the bill but didn't get the item. Found out, the store was out and ordered it. Lowe's Stole My Money lied to me and hung up the phone when I tried to get information about my online order. I order something online and showed up and called they told me two different dates and then when I went to go pick up my order on the date they told me twice they said it would be there the following day when I called and asked him if my order was ready to be picked up they told me they didn't know where it was or when it was going to come in I have not received any update about my order they don't know where it is nor will they return my money the customer service is terrible I don't recommend anybody shop here read more

Bought a riding lawn mower in June of 2016 and the store delivered it to the house. When they delivered it, they had to jump it because the battery was low, according to the Lowe's employees that brought it to the home. I used it two times that summer, and it's been sitting since. The battery is bad and needs replaced, and Lowe's refused to give us a replacement battery. It's now June of 2017, and I haven't used it since. If they're delivering a bad product, Customer Service needs to do a better job of fixing customer issues and they refuse. When I called, the Department Manager told me they had replacement batteries I could buy, but refused to replace the bad one they delivered. Do NOT shop at this Lowe's. I'm sixty and can barely walk due to injuries, and I'm using my old push mower. read more

I purchased the LG Electronics 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Dryer with Steam in White (263) this past week and had it delivered to my home. On December 1, 2013, the dryer was delivered, LEFT ON MY FRONT PORCH, while I was NOT home. The dryer also had several scratches that were not there when I originally purchased the dryer. I went to the store to speak with the manager by the name of KIM. AFTER waiting 20 minutes, they said she was in a truck and couldn't come to the front but I needed to speak with Sherry. After waiting another 15 minutes (Sherry was at lunch), Sherry came and said the BEST she could do is take 15% off! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
