I was hit by a current year model Dodge 5500 pulling a 50' car trailer with a car on it doing somewhere in the range of 90 mph. He came over a hill and I never had a chance. Ambulance, hospital, totaled truck. You name it. I'm on Medicare so I knew whatever they expended on my behalf they'd want back. I was in for the most tangled mess of my life. Insurance against insurance against Medicare against subrogation. No way could I sort this out. I called Mc Divitt the next morning. They agreed to take the case. All I asked was make sure ALL the bills were paid. Medical, therapy all of it. The truck hit me once and blew me across the highway into a guard rail. Then the trailer hit me and destroyed the bed and fender and box of the truck. 2. 90 mph hit, 2 seatbelt hits. The reaction of my brain to hitting my skull was not good. Lingering issues. Wreck was in October. In April I'm still fighting my PCP to say yes there actually was something wrong. Tony and the staff were in constant contact and worked very hard to get my massage/OT person paid as she was holding me together with "bandaids" as it were. I never had a problem reaching anyone by text. If tony made a phone appoint he was there exactly on time. Kept me apprised every step of the way. He sent out a PI to find the company who owned the commercial truck that hit me. They were basically uninsured. My insurance offered to settle and I was advised not to take it as he can do better. I agreed. He came back about 4 weeks later: all bills paid, their bill considerably less than I planned and I had enough in the bank to "make me whole" and then some. God bless Tony, Kayla and Carrie (who even answered calls on off hours or weekend.

I called little over a week ago for a status and asked for a phone call back. Never got one. I call three days after that and I learned the lawyer I had does not even work there anymore. Then I learn that they did the best the could. So if you get hit by a non-citzen, with NO CDL license, driving a CDL required truck your return for hiring them is minimal. I was not looking to get rich, but walking away with less than $12,000. Because they don't hold the trucking company accountable. They just go through the insurance. So my suggestion is sue the trucking company or other driver yourself and let them worry about where the money comes from. Because the lawyers who did not do thst much still get there 33%. Also the little chart/matrix the use is BS. Makes it seem like all accidents are same and it is there to screw the person hit. So I would find a better lawyers office because not only was I blown off several times by the office. But I value my time and money and it was a complete waste of both with this law firm. Also there claim about if you are a soldier and suffer from PTSD, we are here to help you is BS. It is a marketing scheme. No accident is the same, so dont believe their BS chart. Use someone else that values your time and money.

Pointed some of those out to me but never discussed in trial. Felt like a ticket to an easier retirement for my lawyer rather than someone who was arguing for my best interests.

I found myself living through a bad country song: I was surprised by a nasty divorce in my 50's, my…read moretruck broke down, and I lost my job. My divorce was messy and the worst part was that my child was caught in the middle. Unfortunately, this an all too common occurrence in 21st century America. One of the few things that was a positive experience was Teresa Drexler. I started off with another expensive Colorado Springs law firm, and let them go because they did not advocate for me or what was best for my child. I was told that Teresa Drexler was the best in town for family court, so I hired her. She was outstanding when I had to take my ex back to court (multiple times) for not following the divorce agreement. She not only navigated some very rough waters for me, but gave me the peace of mind that my wants/rights would be well represented. She has been a steadfast advocate for me, for equitable custody, and poked a flawed family court system in El Paso County into doing the right thing. As a bonus, I have used her and her firm for multiple post divorce issues, including appeals, bogus contempt claims, prenuptial agreements, and even international residency issues. I have read the negative reviews on Drexler Law and I will not comment on anyone else's experiences with Drexler. My comments are based on my own experiences with Teresa and her firm. They come in four flavors. First, I have to say that I did not get everything I thought was fair from the family court. However, Teresa maximized what I was going to get from a deeply flawed family court system. I know, because she had to reverse a lot of damage my previous law firm caused. Second, she is not a miracle worker and cannot force judges or the opposing counsel to show up prepared or act like in the best interest of the family. However, given the reality of our justice system, I cannot think of a better advocate for you to have in your corner. Third, she did not always tell me what I wanted to hear, but always told me what I needed to hear. Teresa thoroughly explained the strength of each spouse's respective case and told me that sometimes the judge rules a way we cannot predict. She advocated for what I believed was right and knew all the idiosyncrasies of opposing counsel and the judges. Finally, I found Teresa very compassionate yet realistic. She always explained the law in a respectful manner, helped me understand what was probably going to happen, and what I needed to do next. Yes, Drexler Law is expensive, but if you were going to have open heart surgery, would you want to use a chest cracker from Walmart or would you want the best you can get, no matter how expensive? Family law and navigating a divorce is just as critical to your well being (and mental health) as open heart surgery. Divorce in 21st Century Colorado is an expensive affair, and it left me in financial tatters. Teresa was always mindful of the cost, and helped me spend my legal dollars wisely. Also, Drexler Law was patient with me and worked with me on a reasonable payment plan. I would give my very highest recommendation for Teresa Drexler and Drexler Law. If you find yourself going through a divorce or you are expecting to get a divorce, reach out to Drexler Law, you will not regret it. Here is one final tip: it is best to get her on your side as early as possible!

Mike was able to fit me in for a consultation within a couple of weeks, and from there, he helped me through the entire probate process via email and phone calls. He ensured we stayed on track with the necessary filings and other legal requirements for Colorado probate and made himself available whenever I requested a phone call for a more detailed explanation about where we were in the process or what I needed to do next. His paralegal, Brenda Holt, was also wonderful to work with and incredibly prompt in responding to all of my emails. She went above and beyond, even helping me track down tax information from the county for my father's house and working with the court to get my Letters of Administration re-certified when I needed them later in the estate administration process. If you are looking for an estate attorney for probate or any other purpose, I cannot recommend Mike and Brenda enough. Their expertise and dedication made all the difference during a difficult time.

While waiting, heard the woman in her office make a call, giving the name and social security number (to take themselves off as attorney of record) of an ex-client. 2. Saw a copy of a client's check in plain view, as well as other court papers with client's names and addresses. 3.
