We have stayed here both times in Charlottetown and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else…read more Location is the best as it's right at the water on Queen St. Anything you want or need is right there!! The good sized rooms are very comfortable, clean and have great views. Our room the last stay was on the seventh floor over looking the bay and it was great for watching the Canada Day fireworks blasting from Victoria Park!! The reception desk staff really take care of you, they made great suggestions and booked reservations for us and steered us in the right direction for all our needs and desires. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. I'm a simple kind of breakfast eater with the standard bacon or sausage and eggs and I have to say it was the best I tell you!! Eggs over easy perfect!! Fresh bread used for toast and came out warm with just the right amount of butter! The potato's were sooo tasty I hardly had any ketchup with them. But the show stoppers were the sausages, it's been a long time since Ive had such good tasting sausages that's why I had the exact same meal both mornings of our stay. Our server was great and super friendly also, made you feel right at home. There's and really nice pool area with a hot tube and saunas. The only thing that's not great is the saunas are in the changing rooms so my wife and I can't go in together. We're bonvoy members and have stayed at many Marriot hotels and this is definitely one of our favourites. Highly recommend!

The Water's Edge Restaurant needs a major upgrade. The service was great. The food was unbelievably bad for a hotel of this class. We went Friday night and while the hotel was full with a convention, the restaurant was almost empty. Very disappointing since the hotel had a great kitchen at one time.

You never know what you're going to get with a Quality Inn. This one has some unique charm. When I…read morepulled in, I noticed this hotel still had window-insert air-conditioners in many of the rooms. My room, on the first floor, had room control, but it also had a window facing a lawn area which could be left open. I really liked that because after a week of "hotel air" elsewhere, it was nice to open a window on a warm summer night in PEI for fresh air. You can get a view of the water from the back of the hotel, but you don't really have waterfront access. For that you'll have to go down Water St., along the harbor and boardwalk. There is a beach at Linkletter about 10 minutes away. This hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool, and a small exercise room with a nautilus and elliptical. The interior corridor is open for both floors, sort-of like a large enclosed porch, with plenty of comfortable chairs. Your room also has an interior window looking into this area, so be sure to close your curtains! They provide complimentary coffee and tea, but not a complimentary breakfast. There is a breakfast area where you can order various items at quite reasonable prices. They are also affiliated with a restaurant next door where you can have dinner. But there are some important things of which you should be aware before considering this hotel: - Many rooms have a walk-in shower instead of a tub - There is no elevator to get to the 2nd or 3rd floors - The hotel offers Wi-Fi, and you'll have no problem connecting to it with your PC or your iDevices. However, Android smartphone users will not be able to connect at all, and the hotel cannot provide any help on that.

This is your typical hotel, the amenities were all relatively new and the room was clean. I didn't like that the back entrance to where our hotel room was situated was not locked despite having key reader access. I'm sure the area is safe, but it would have felt better if it locked. I thought the breakfast was sufficient and delicious. I would stay here again.
