Highly not recommend I worked with a recruiter back in June who left the company possibly bc they are completely unprofessional and his name was Daniel- shortly when he left I was being handled by a Veronica and she never gave me a call back regarding work- I went to every interview that Daniel sent me to even when it was completely unprofessional in there part as well by not giving me the correct job descriptions etc and I was still willing to work with them until Veronica had no type of communication at all, I would highly recommend to not even waste your time as your time is valued in looking for other serious job inquiries instead of this place read more

I've never thought that a staffing agency would be helpful but when the going got tough I gave it a shot. Initially, I was responding to an ad that did not mention they were a staffing agency. (I guess that is what most staffing agencies do) My Conclusion....A typical Staffing Agency. You go there interview goes great, they tell you to call them back, and you do. They make you think you are overqualified and you should get job offers left and right. (I have lengthy work experience and possess a recent BA) When I called back this is what the lady told me: We are just waiting to see when its a good time for the several places that you could be a good fit for want to meet with you for an interview. I will call you back by the end of this week latest next week. MOST SHOCKING-- "From here on we'll call you, you don't have to call us." ....and then you wait and wait and wait obviously no call "crickets" You waste your time interviewing and taking a Microsoft Office test. read more

The same with the comment below. It's been over two weeks since I have heard back from any of the staff there. They made me take the office test and I did exceptionally we'll. I emailed twice and got the response saying that I would be contacted when interviews come up. We'll, that's a lie because people are walking in there left and right and I'm pretty sure they tell that to everyone and only pick ones who they see fit the job. Here is my experience with LPC . I applied a job posting at indeed but I have a email from Josh at LPC, for an interview appointment. I was interviewed by Jennifer when I asked her what was the company? She did not want to give the name! (Understood) in a way. But when I asked her about the job description she did not know either !!! She said ( i will send you an email regarding the job description) I was skeptical about a real job opening. She did not know about the job nor the name of the company? I call her to reminder about the email after three days passed. Overall I think that I just wasted my time but I will change my review if they help me to get a job or at least an interview with a company. I will update in a few weeks. read more

I am glad that I didn't pay attention to the ratings here and went ahead and applied with LPC Personnel. I met with Sammy, He was phenomenal. He asked me a lot of questions concerning what I was looking for in order to match me with the right employer. He kept in touch with me, keeping me posted about the jobs he had submitted me to and such, which is really nice when you are working with a temp agency. I finally got an assignment which am thrilled to have and I must say, this was the perfect match for me. Now, i just need to work hard and prove myself here. I was laid off from my job and was job searching when I was responding to an ad that did not mention they were a staffing agency. I was contacted, and at that time I was informed they were a staffing agency and wanted to schedule an appointment to come in. At first I was hesitant because I had read some negative reviews regarding this Staffing Agency, however, I decided to give it a try because it's the people who make a difference. I scheduled an appointment and it was a typical staffing agency, I met with a young lady by the initial of RL (i will not disclose her full name) which went well. She said she was going to do a little rearranging of my resume and would email me a copy. I left with the impression that they were going to aid me in seeking employment. A week went by and I hadn't heard anything back from them, not even in regards to the position I had applied for. I sent an email to RL inquiring about what the status was. Three weeks have gone by and I still haven't heard back from anyone with this company. My personal opinion is I wouldn't recommend this staffing agency to anyone. Their follow up and communication after your initial appointment is lame. I feel this is a ploy to keep a supply of names in their database to meet their numbers quota. They bait people by running these job posting just to meet their needs not our needs in seeking employment. read more

Much like many of the other reviews online, I signed up with this company to have them help me find a job after being laid off due to company restructure. I came in for their requested interview, met with a recruiter, did exceptionally well on all of my requested testing, and spent a decent amount of time discussing things. He assured me that they had quite a few positions that I matched very well with, based upon my qualifications, and that he would get busy working on getting me a job immediately. He told me to contact him and that he would get back with me really quick, e-mail or call, and I told him that I would do so frequently so that we were on the same page. In fact, I told him that I would get with him in a few days just to touch base. He seemed upbeat about my desire to regularly and frequently communicate. I came out of the discussion hoping that this situation might be different than the handful of other staffing agencies I've worked with in the past. Generally, in my experience, they say these things, but as soon as you leave the office, you never hear from them again. I thought I'd give them a shot, though, because some agencies absolutely rock! I went in on a Friday, and I sent an e-mail on Monday to the recruiter. I know that it was just the weekend, so I didn't expect anything -- I just wanted to basically let him know that I was interested, and that I was going to keep in communication with him like I told him that I would. No response. I waited another day, and e-mailed again. No rush, of course, but I did except him to respond at least the same day like he said he would. When he did respond, he was short, and I perceived an irritated attitude from him. In fact, he basically told me not to contact him, and that he would contact me IF he heard something. He would not answer any questions about what he was doing on my behalf, if he was even working my resume/app. I figured, fine, I'll give him some time, and the benefit of the doubt. Two weeks later. Nothing. No phone call. No followup e-mail to even touch base just to let me know that he hadn't forgot about me. So I sent him an e-mail again, several paragraphs long with some questions. The following morning, I received an e-mail that consisted of three short sentences. Again, basically don't bother contacting me -- you'll be contacted if someone is interested. Again, in this e-mail, he didn't answer anything, and didn't say anything. Nothing. Just "don't call us, we'll call you." Unfortunately, not only is this company what I would consider a "typical" staffing company, they're actually worse than that. It's almost as if there is a some kind of rule about transparency. They won't answer questions, they won't spend time even communicating, and they will brush you off when you contact them. Quite frankly, I feel like I pissed the staffing rep off when I e-mailed him the first time (for some reason), and that my resume/app got pushed to the back of the stack and/or stuck in a file somewhere. I have no confidence whatsoever that LPC Personnel is even bothering to help find me a job. Why do I feel this way? I've been brushed off several times now, and they can't even tell me what they've done to try to find me a position. Not even vaguely. What's worse is that I have a background in HR and staffing -- I know how this game works. Every company has their own ways of doing things, but the process is fairly straightforward. Some clients take time, and others are quick. Unless they have no clients whatsoever (and they should have been up-front about this if this were the case), there should have been at least several jobs closed in a two-week period. Beyond this, any reputable staffing agency will be forthcoming about what they are doing to help you find a job, how many companies they are repping you to, what kinds of jobs they are sourcing for you, and what kind of feedback they're getting from clients (if you aren't getting interviews or jobs). LPC Personnel has not bothered to do ANY of this, and only gets agitated if you ask. I'm not sure what the problem is. Ultimately, I'm very, very disappointed with LPC Personnel. Except during my original interaction, I would consider them to have been almost rude, unprofessional, and indignant -- none of which are traits that I should be using to describe a staffing agency worth their salt. I've wasted gasoline, and my time -- both of which could be used somewhere else to actually help get a job. Now, if there was any truth to them working my resume/app, once they read this, they'll definitely throw my stuff through the shredder. I would like to say that I hope that Paula W. will respond with more than a "canned statement" and offer to have me call her and discuss the situation so that we could resolve this. Unfortunately, I won't hold my breath because I just don't think they care. I hope they prove me wrong. read more

Unimpressed. Submitting resumes of candidates when there is no agreement in place to do so, but submitting under candidate's name to look like candidate submitted - only to find out submitted by LPC. Poor backdoor antics. 8/11/16 UPDATE: I have been a candidate myself and never has the staffing agency given me a copy of the resume with their logo which indicates resume submitted by LPC (or other) Personnel. Better controls should be taken - it is your company's reputation that is being affected. It is one thing to give a candidate a copy of a resume and yet another to keep the company's name on it. I have no skin in the game in this, but it would be wise for your staff to make policy changes to protect your company's reputation.; read more

I got a temp to hire position with this company and was happy with LPC. Everyone seemed friendly, no issues with payment (although I found out when I got my W-2 they screwed up my exemptions so pay attention there) My issues started when my assignment ended. When my assignment ended, I immediately asked if there were any other assignments, and was told that they would check on Monday. Which was understandable. I called Monday and there was no answer so I left a message with no return. Tried to call again no answer or returned call. Later that week I took matters into my own hands found a couple jobs that I was a good fit for sent them an email. Once again no response, sent a second e-mail No big deal right? Wrong, because of this I lost my right to unemployment benefits because I didn't contact them within 3 days to let them know that I was "available for work". When in fact I had told them on the first day to keep an eye out for new positions. I want you to learn from my mistake and E-MAIL them immediately if your assignment ends because they will do everything in their power to make sure that you don't get unemployment after working with them. I applied through monster.com and within a week a got a phone call. Rachel my recruiter was such a good help. Rachel interviewed me at the LPC personnel location she said she would help me with my resume. I left and not even 30 minutes later I received a call that I had an interview in the next 2 hours. Everything was so fast. I went to the interview that Rachael had set up for me and I was hired as an account payables that same day. I would greatly recommend LPC personnel. read more

I had been looking for a second job and so far the search was a bummer because I have been to many interviews yet, no call back after that. I found a glimmer of hope when LPC called me asking if I could go for an interview and I agreed! I originally found this job posting on receptionist on Facebook and I sent my resume in message form. The next day I went for a normal interview not knowing this was a staffing company, originally I thought I was interviewing for a job there. I did the test and the interview and left knowing I probably had wasted my time and gas. It's been almost 2 months and no email, no call, nothing. I don't know what to expect from a staffing company because I've never gone to one but I should have read the reviews beforehand. If you're looking for a staffing company, don't go to this one. Started out great with LPC personnel. Great first interview with them, recruiter was very positive and helpful. After that it was all downhill. I was told my resume would be looked over and revamped and i would be contacted with the changes. Nothing happened and not a word from LPC. I finally decided to take their satisfaction survey to voice my displeasure and it was only after that in which LPC contacted me. I have requested to be put in for many many jobs on the LPC website and i never hear back from them about the jobs. I put in for all different types of jobs all in which fit my qualifications. I have been with them for 5 months now and i think i have heard from them or spoke to them three times. I understand these agencies are quite busy but to send a weekly email stating that i want to be put in for jobs with no response back ever is just not acceptable. With the competitive nature of these agencies you would think they would be more responsive. read more

I also spent my time taking the tests at this Agency and all I got afterwards was "I've got something in the works". That line went on for weeks. Finally had one interview, the company took 3 weeks to figure out they were not satisfied with and of the candidates sent to them. Poor communication between that company and agency. That was probably November to December timeframe. And of course Paula said to wait til after the new year and it will pick up. Have I ever heard from her again? No. This is almost March. I apparently completed an interview and application in August of 2012. In that time, I have went with my own contracting and gotten several contract jobs. It is now March of 2013 and when I called this morning, I now remember the same run around. I applied to an add on Work in Texas job board, which by the way is full of scammers as well. Nothing is sacred for an actual job seeker any more. The job was supposed to be legit. Yet the lady said the same thing. If anything comes up we will give you a call. That was the reason I was calling. Apparently you placed an add stating you had a position. Put me in for that. Not tell me you will be looking. Psycho's. Staffing agencies are completely psychotic. Reputation is a company's biggest asset and I would NOT recommend any employer or individual to this staffing agency. I was flat out LIED to by their company twice simply to gain my business. Falsifying information and lying to individuals does not show great merit. There are plenty of notable staffing agencies out there and i'm sad to say this is not one of them. read more

Now, while I'm not currently local, on my resume, states, I'm planning to move to the area. So, they don't really read the resume, they're not worth my time anymore. read more

My agency has used LPC for a number of years and have hired some really solid staff, usually on a temp to hire basis, as a result. I make a call and explain the open position and qualifications that I'm looking for and they then send over several resumes to review. If any look interesting I ask them to arrange an interview, if not they send over another batch of resumes. If we take on a temp and it doesn't work it's very easy to start the process over again. All this is done in a very timely manner. Best thing is that once we know that the temp is a good fit for us we're able to hire on permanently, having this kind of trial period is really helpful for both our agency and the applicant to be sure everyone is satisfied. read more

Waste of time! I went and took tests and did the interview and the lady said she had some jobs she would present to me once they got the background check back. I waited a day and never heard anything back and then I call and they took my information down. The next day she called saying she had leads was waiting to hear back from some clients. I don't know how everyone had a bad experience because I had a great one! I had applied online and had received a call two days later to set up an interview for the next day. I walked in, filled out paper work and had an interview with JENNIFER. I didn't feel like I was in an interview, it felt more like talking to a friend. She made me feel very comfortable. Which made the process a lot more easier and calming for me. She even update my resume for me to make it look more professional. After my interview with her, she had me go in and take a type test and an excel test explaining the directions to me very clearly. After I was done, I came out and Jennifer already had two job offers for me. She explained the two jobs and offered to pick between the two jobs. When I picked one, she had given me tips on how to do interviews, how to answer questions, how to dress, and all the tips I need to know before an interview. Later that day, I went home and got a call for Jennifer saying that I had an interview with the company the next day. Now I am currently working for an amazing company and couldn't be happier. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH JENNIFER! I have recommended this company and Jennifer to a few of my friends and they loved it. read more

Pretty much wasting your time going on an interview and taking the Microsoft etc tests. They'll tell you they'll keep in touch and call every here and there to tell you they'll call you back later in the week for interviews but never actually do. They'll end up calling back months later until you have found a job ON YOUR OWN and then stop. Waste of time, much better off searching on your own. read more
