When I showed up, the only people who came to work that day were the two folks running the front desk (they were lovely and did their best to be helpful). Not a single tax professional showed up for work despite being scheduled and having appointments on the books. I sat around for 45 minutes while the ladies at the front desk called various employees who were scheduled and should have been at work including the man I had an appointment with. They scanned my paperwork to another office that was completely unhelpful and offered no guidance, advice, or information. I walked out an hour later with zero advice, zero support, and zero next steps. An hour of my life I will never get back.

We "got involved" with this firm in early 2017 and it was perhaps THE most dreadful and costly mistake of our adult lives! Their treatment of us certainly qualifies, at least in my mind, as a criminal enterprise! They seem to be organized around the concept of squeezing the MAXIMUM amount of money from their clients! EVERY time we "turned around", they were charging us thousands of dollars for things we don't believe we needed. For example, they said our Family Trust, which we created in 1981 and "updated" in 2005, needed to be "revised". $7,000+ dollars later, we had a "new" Trust, in an unnecessarily expensive binder which turned out seriously deficient. We recently took the Trust to a seminar put on by a professional "Estate Planning" law corporation and they found that it was *deficient* in 10 of the 14 "protective provisions" that every Trust SHOULD have! SO, we spent $7,000+ for a document that is 2/3rds faulty and deficient! I could go on and on, because the Trust is not the only "issue" Jennings "screwed" us on. We, foolishly, let them do our taxes, which ended up costing more than 400% of what we had been paying, per year, for the last several years. And. . YES .. Doug Jennings attended most of the meetings we had with his "people". This is NOT a company I would recommend that anyone become involved with!
