Both were very tasty - kind of like mildly sweet and dense cornbread. The Pastel Vasco was filled with custard-like cream, which helped lubricate the crumbly texture. This is a bakery chain with multiple locations throughout the city. For this specific location, I took my pastries and scarfed them down in the nearby square overlooking the playground on a sunny day. Can this be my life every day?
