I visited this bookstore with my 3-year-old nephew, and I was honestly shocked by the condition of…read morethe children's reading area. The space where kids sit and read was extremely dirty. There was visible grime on the table, and several of the books appeared to have dried mucus and other unsanitary residue on them. As a parent or family member bringing a young child, that's very concerning and unpleasant to see. I understand that children's areas get a lot of use and can be difficult to keep spotless, but this went far beyond normal wear and tear. It looked like the area had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. It's disappointing because the bookstore itself is nice, and we were looking forward to spending time there. I hope management pays more attention to the cleanliness of the children's section so families can feel comfortable bringing their kids.
