Long story short: Lucille is fantastic. From start to finish, she was everything we were looking for in a wedding photographer. For one, we really love her style. She lets the moments come to her -- and looking at our pictures now, she always seemed to be at the right place at the right time to capture those small details and expressions that bring us back to our wedding weekend. She was also very easy to work with. She met us in Oakland for our initial meeting, and was glad to travel up to the Mendocino area for our wedding. (She has some family there.) Great wedding photographer. We spent a lot of time searching for a photographer that matched our style and couldn't be more pleased we decided to go with Lucille. She met us for coffee just to get to know us a few weeks before the wedding, she was warm, welcoming, and showed a great love for what she does, from that we knew we made the right choice. The day of the wedding Lucille met us where my beautiful bride was getting ready and she even succeeding in calming my nerves a bit before our first look, which I might add was shot wonderfully. During the ceremony she never got in the way or did anything that detracted from the vibe, sometimes I see photographers standing directly in front of the bride and groom etc. there was non of that. After the ceremony we went to get photos of the wedding party and close family members, she got everything we wanted and did great putting together shots with so many people. We booked Lucille for our engagement photos, and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Both of us can be a bit camera shy, and her presence was warm, welcoming, and fun. We felt immediately at ease while taking photos. She also helped us scout out a place to shoot the photos. You don't want an aggressive person around on your wedding day! I am a little anxious and I knew she would be the perfect balance for me.
