The bathrooms are clean and the walking trail is nice. Grass can be a little muddy sometimes though. You can also watch the ducks swim or sometimes catch a view of a couple getting married at the Community Center. As I am a stickler for parking, if the park is busy, as it has been since it's summer and Washington has been getting it's 10 sunny days out of 365, people are out and about and grillin' n chillin'. So, the parking lot lately has been full, so you have to park in the grass directly behind the regular parking spaces. As mentioned, the grass can be muddy so if your car has a tendency to get stuck, you may not want to chance the grass. Overall, it's a great place to bring a lawn chair or a blanket and just relax.

Curtis didn't bat an eye and rather than canceling the trip he approached it with can do attitude "Lets GO"! We had 3 adults and 3 "kids" 10, 14, and 14. Curtis was professional, courteous, and friendly. It was a great trip. We limited out and enjoyed the day regardless of the conditions. As someone who has worked in the boat industry, I can attest to the quality, maintenance, performance, and attention to detail Curtis has put into his boat. My daughter likes holding the small pail unless the goats are getting feisty. We walked around to the nature path and "Music" area as well as the back field with donkeys and horses and the zebra. It seemed like more play equipment than the last time I was here and I could see it being pretty fun with a group of kids. In fact, someone had a birthday party while we visited and that looked like a nice time. The cows, donkey, camel, sheep, and goats in the barn were super keen on some snacks. My kid was sad the pirate ship wasn't open. She did play a lot with the toys. We stayed about 2-3 hours though our initial pass was about 1 hour. Tried to wash hands a few times at portable setups, and before we left. A few groups brought lunch and ate at picnic tables!

Well maintained with porta potty and access to a limited area for fishing. Parking is limited on their lot but fishing can be none to excellent if the salmon are returning to spawn. If the salmon are returning, there will be combat style fishing (shoulder to shoulder) fishing.... They have a disabled access fishing spot just above Finch creek only if you are wheelchair bound and have a permit to fish. Saw quite a number of fisher people - mostly gear fishing - a few fly anglers. Direct access to the water from the stairs but since the water is cold, chest waders are the only way people are accessing the waters to fish. You can not fish from the edge of the walkway - you have to get in the water to wade and fish. I saw some newbies enter the area with shorts and tennis shoes expecting to fish but when they saw the other anglers with chest waders, wading boots, and hip waders; they decided to leave after trying the water out with their bare legs! So funny to see Washingtonians not know about the fishing conditions in their home state. Even as a visitor, I already knew this and had brought my waders and boots along.....
