Something's may come broken (my dresser did come broken) and parts may be missing, but they do offer a 48hr return policy in which you will be refunded via a gift card. Their customer service is usually very friendly. I haven't had 1 bad interaction with them. Place holding with bags & chairs in the morning while others like myself are ACTUALLY waiting in line. People show up drop a bag as a place holder, then wait in there cars for more family and friends to show up and ALL then go and cut into line like they've been there. Which is extremely rude. It went from 4 actual people waiting in front of me to well over 30 people by the time everyone's place holders and friends/family showed up. Beware and check your receipts before paying! I was charged for 11 bin items when I only had 9. When I went back to the store to tell the manager, she had me waited for a while to check their security video. When they confirmed that I was indeed overcharged, instead of giving me a cash refund for the overcharged amount, they issued me store credit! Is this even legal? This was the employee mistakes, not me returning a purchased item. Note: this was not the first time I was overcharge. It happened before but I didn't go back to request for the refund. It'll give "clothes" a certain price (like 6$), but further down the list it will have higher prices for "shirts" or "sweaters" or "pants" which is weird because these should be under the "clothes" category. BLUF: Lucky Day sells broken products and actively works against reaching a satisfactory resolution with the customer. I purchased an electric pressure washer from Lucky Day liquidation on Sunday afternoon. I returned to my residence one hour away from Lucky Day. I plugged the pressure washer into the wall. The cable's test and reset features failed and indicated a malfunction based on the directions printed on the plug. Additionally, the pressure washer would not power on when commanded. I immediately called Lucky Day to inform them of the issue. I was told by an employee I needed to return to the store by Monday evening (the day following the purchase) in order to exchange the pressure washer for a working one. The drive to the store is a two hour round trip. I asked if I could receive an exception to their policy due to the distance and the fact the product was defective. I planned to return to Fresno on Saturday (6 days after purchase) at which time I could easily exchange the pressure washer. I was told by the employee they would call me back after talking to "upper management" and requesting an exception to the policy. I received a phone call from Lucky Day about a half hour later. I was told that they could not approve an extension of the return period but I could come to the store on Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday to talk to Nate in "upper management" about a possible extension. I said this was unsatisfactory as I would be in Fresno Saturday. It was at this time the employee developed an unprofessional attitude and stated this was the resolution I had originally requested. The employee stated that Nate or any other member of "upper management" could not call me at any point during the week and my only option was to show up on one of those days to request the extension. It was at this time I determined any further interaction was futile and informed the employee I would be charging the purchase back on my credit card. All I wanted to do was exchange the broken pressure washer for a working on within 6 days instead of 48 hours. I have been able to find so many amazing deals for my home and for my family here. My favorite purchase recently was a Radio Flyer tricycle for $12!!! My grandchild loves it. I like to come here to shop for toys and unique household items. The resellers are definitely here so come early and be prepared to grab whatever you want. People do start lining up about a half hour before they open so keep that in mind. This is the cleanest store I've ever been in and I appreciate that. DO NOT SHOP HERE. These people are lying scoundrels. They sold me a fridge that does not work! Before buying they told me I could return it if I had any issues with it working within three days and that it had a 1 year warrenty. Well that turned out to be a total lie - after I purchased the fridge (mind you this was not a $300 fridge it was $$$) they printed the receipt and told me it was only return for store credit! After we got it into the house with the delivery person they said did their deliveries (who banged it up BTW!) we got the water hose professional installed and guess what - fridge won't exit demo mode, and the water doesn't work! I called the manager who was extremely hostile, condescending, and did not offer to help fix it or anything. They lied about the return policy to push a sale and now they leave me stranded with this non-functioning fridge. I am fighting it to get my $ back! Really awesome place. They have sales based on the day of the week. I went on Friday and it $12 day. Despite this, they had things that were over $12. Everything that was $12 should've been cheaper in my opinion the selection was really cool though and I would've kept looking and maybe bought stuff if my boyfriend hadn't rushed me out! I'm curious about the appliances though as most of the stuff is used. I'm not sure if the stuff works or not, that's the only downside. I've been in a store similar where you couldn't open the boxes, so that's a downside because the boxes don't always say what the contents are. Some stuff is a little banged up but other than that it's decent. They also have large blankets and rugs hanging around the perimeter for set prices, and boxes of returns to one side but those weren't discounted much. They did announce that there is 48 hour? guarantee on purchases, but not sure if that is only for the set price stuff or also in the bins. Employees were friendly, even the ones tasked with digging through the bins to remove trash. Cash gets daily price, credit cards add 3% to cover their surcharge, which is fair. read more

if you plan on working here don't. Ive worked here less than 4 months and was on a 1 week suspension for grabbing a drink. Note: store has broken or not turn on AC so I sweat a lot. Any way before I was about to clock in I was told by the second manager I was on a one week suspension and once the week was over I would get a call.. but i patiently waited but nothing. I've texted after my suspension was over and I was told by the manager said "Right know it's "Kinda" Slow". so I said what ever so I waited again for about a week and I messaged again about my return date back to work, no response. then I went in person because they never told me about me check that I was supposed to get and the manager said they they have mail it to me a week before but never receive it then I had asked I am ready to return back but the manager said the owner doesn't want me back because of what happen but then we talked about my check. a few days later I called about it and they had it ready before I left after I had asked to speak to the owner but then when I asked the owner if he was letting me go he said he didn't want to let me go. He says he doesn't mind bringing me back, but it was "kind of slow". He told me to text the manager every week to tell him when I am able to return. I messaged twice after I was told that but no response until the third message the manager said "Right now it's slow and I don't need anyone else to work at the moment. I will let you know if anything changes." But I responded to that text saying if he didn't need anyone to work Ian I being let go. Very bad communication and horrible place of business. When I was working here I would fill bins of items for example air fryers I would open the inside to see rust but when I ask the manager about it he said just leave it don't throw it away. On 01/30/2023, I found an ad on OfferUp for an Igloo. I messaged the business on the ad and come to find out, it was a business named Lucky Day Liquidation. Someone replied back stating that the Igloo was available and included the business address and business hours. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, I arrived at the business and located the Igloo in question. I asked the cashier if I can purchase the Igloo and the cashier stated that a worker named "John" was going to purchase the Igloo. He then proceeded to talk on a walkie talkie asking John if he was still going to purchase it. Someone got on the radio and said that John is going to purchase it. That's when the cashier proceeded to tell me that it wasn't available. So I've been here a couple of $12 days. These days are when you can find really good items for only $12. The problem is that they have regulars that resell. Nothing wrong with resellers, but they allow these folks to assault everyone else who is just there to shop for goods in the cheap. Heard them talking in Spanish that they resell on Facebook Marketplace and eBay. Before a new bin comes out, these resellers will window shop and plan how they will attack the items in the bin, which location etc. And bully everryone else shopping. When the new bins do come out the resellers will bum rush abd run over everyone in their way. I see frighten mothers and shoppers each new round of bins. Another problem is that some people, including the resellers, will bring little kids to block other customers. It's a whole game plan they have going. I wish there was a better system implemented so that it's fair to all shoppers. I would recommend this place only if you're ok getting elbowed in the ribs and face and tackled for liquidated goods.
