I really liked that they put up signs, cones and caution tape to provide that extra level of safety for their customers. Everything was done in a matter of weeks. From setup, to clean up, to pay out. The house was left empty and clean. The few items that didn't sell were boxed up and neatly stacked in the garage. Habit for humanity was available to pick up items we're willing to part with. I had a question on a oriental glass bowl which was priced $125 and they were more than willing to explain the price and tell me more about its history and what it goes for on the resale market. Despite a lot of foot traffic, it's easy to navigate and pick out things. I do recommend to do a walk-through in and around the property at least four times, each time you do that, you'll discover something new. I'm real big on anything vintage and sometimes I just simply enjoy stepping back into time and looking at old photographs,art, decor, postage mail and magazines. They take credit card with a small surcharge and you can actually haggle with them on price and they will cut you a break. It's very easy to check out once you're done shopping around. I will continue to attend Merlin's estate sales!

She was able to help our family with a large estate sale ranging from household items and garden to farm equipment and tools. She was organized and communicated with us daily, asking questions and never assuming. Her advertising was spot on which really helped in our case as the property was in the countryside of town and a bit difficult to find, she assured us people would be able to find the sale and they did! Her staff was helpful with getting things loaded up for people and hauling stuff if needed, they worked SO hard to make the sale successful. But lastly... they cleaned up and organized things that were left, so we didn't have to walk into the aftermath of the dismantling of our family home, she and her team really care for their clients! The turn around of the book keeping records and payment were very quick and straightforward (within the week!). Steve previewed the many tools that my late husband had used and cherished. As he identified many of them by name and explained that he had been selling similar items for many years, including the 4-post car lift, the stress I felt began to dissipate. Gilbert and Anthony were amazing to watch as they quickly sorted and grouped tools in lots. I was thrilled as those automotive, machinist, and construction tools were arranged to look appealing as if they were in a retail store! Steve's advertising provided outstanding publicity, and the day of the auction, people came! For me, it was a day to honor my late husband as the attendees were very complimentary of the quality of his tools and his loving care for them. Most of the tools went home the day of the sale. Something's may come broken (my dresser did come broken) and parts may be missing, but they do offer a 48hr return policy in which you will be refunded via a gift card. Their customer service is usually very friendly. I haven't had 1 bad interaction with them. Sometimes it's hard to find them and/or get their attention, but they are usually willing to help, even when it comes to helping out large furniture in cars.
