I don't often see people eating in--seems like it more a take away place now. That could have something to do with the lack of warmth in the decor.

Chin's appears to be more Cantonese style; while there is a dining room, it is has apparently been closed since COVID. We had a couple drinks at Frank's Place and placed our order. 15 minutes later, it was hot and ready. My car smelled so good that my mouth was watering. He ordered the Cantonese chicken, which was good but kind of basic. My stir fried chicken and veggies in ginger sauce were better--and the veggies were so fresh and crisp. You may have noticed, but there's a garden behind the restaurant, and they grow a lot of their own produce. The star of the night was the veggie Egg Foo Young, which I'd never tried before. I saw photos of it online and had to try it. Wow. Egg Foo Young: where have you been all my life? I feel like I'm going to have a new food hyperfixation because this was absolutely delicious and fresh, and I've never had anything like it before. It was a very thin, very crispy omelet with veggies folded in, and then it was covered with a flavorful brown gravy. There are so many other things I want to try, and I can confidently say that my partner was right. It was worth the drive, and our food stayed warm even after a pit stop for beer on the way home. Our meal at Chin's was a reminder of just how good Chinese food can be when it's just not chicken nuggets covered in a sweet sauce.

My small company was looking for a better Chinese food option than what we have been having. So, I chose Golden Palace because it was fairly close. I ordered a few times myself to see if it was worth trying. I really liked it and decided to order for 15 people for a Friday lunch. Everything went perfect. The food was ready and hot at pickup time. Most everyone agreed it was way better than the previous restaurant. And they even threw in over 20 crab ragoons for free. The owner was even concerned how I was going to transport the food and instructed me to put it on the car's floor so the bags wouldn't tip over. Great job!

The egg roll was cooked well but the filling was so bland I ended up throwing it away after two bites. And this is one of those restaurants that have sweet crabmeat cheese rangoons. Why do they do that? They're like little deep fried crab-flavored cheesecakes- yuck. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was fine (apart from the lack of broccoli in the General Tso's). While there was nothing that was outright wrong with the food, we will not be eating here again. If you like sugared seafood and you find ketchup to be too spicy, you might enjoy this place a bit more than we did.
