Ever since I tried this place, I can't stop thinking about it! This might be my new go-to Chinese restaurant. I was going over to a friend's for a movie night, and she recommended ordering from here, and what a terrific recommendation! She ended up ordering a bunch of things for us to share. We shared the cold sesame noodles, Crab Rangoons, mini rolls, peanut avocado sushi, and vegetable lo mein. Everything was seriously so delicious and fresh-tasting. I was especially impressed with the cold sesame noodles and peanut avocado sushi. These were items I wouldn't normally order, but they tasted great with a strong peanut butter flavor. I mentioned this place to my husband, and we plan on ordering here the next time we're craving Chinese! read more

Was very excited to try this spot! I have been craving the three style pepper chicken, and it did not disappoint!!! Very delicious and just as good as I had in california. Everything was delicious, the crab rangoons were our favorite. Sushi was good but nothing to go crazy over. The only thing I would mention is everything did have a distinct flavor profile. The chicken hibachi had this strong flavor and was not your traditional hibachi. Not sure of its what they cook with or use but it was on everything. Not a bad taste, just very strong. Wow, I was quite surprised by this hidden gem in Akron. The sushi was pretty good. Usually I avoid the Asian fusion places that combine sushi with another country's food (ie Thai, Chinese, etc) The Spider-Man was like a special spider roll, you get crunchy soft shell crab with a little fresh spicy tuna on top. The rainbow Naruto is a refreshing roll with crunchy crispy fresh cucumber wrap replacing the carbs you got from the Spider-Man roll. My third and complementing side dish was the sliced beef and tendon in spicy sauce 夫妻肺片. If you like the traditional sliced Chinese cold cuts, this one was so delicious. The cashier was nice and the wait wasn't too long. Received my order after about 15 mins. The ambiance in the restaurant seemed quiet with most customers ordering Togo or picking up orders. The decor gave traditional Chinese restaurant vibes incase you like nostalgic feeling. I would definitely come back and can't wait to try other items. read more

Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a good experience! They have a wide variety of food options...it was hard to decide on what to get. They have a whole list of vegetarian options too which I am always thrilled to see. I got the stir fried vegetables in brown sauce with a side of the spicy sauce. There was a nice variety of vegetables within the stir fry and a bowl of white rice came on the side. I would have liked the brown sauce to have more flavor personally but the vegetables within were good. The others in my party got the dinner box (lunch box is not offered on Sundays, unfortunately) and enjoyed their meals as well. Service was fast and overall friendly. I was craving some authentic Sichuan and I was so surprised to find this in Akron! Cleveland has some great Sichuan places so I'm glad Akron has its own too! They have a huge menu, which could be kind of overwhelming as they serve regular American Chinese, sushi and this special Sichuan menu. We got 3 or 4 dishes for the 2 of us and had enough leftovers for 2 more meals! Portions are large, our server was so friendly and chatted with me in mandarin. I asked for a more mild spice level but nah--don't think it's in them. Our cold sesame noodles were the only non-mala hot dish so my BF ate that. The shredded chicken dish in hot chili oil tasted good but the selected pieces were too full of cartilage and not enough actual meat. The rabbit dish had too many of the numbing peppercorns and not enough meat. Would definitely come back to try more of their dishes but beware of the spice level! read more

Gluten free joy! This restaurant goes the extra mile and even packaged gluten-free soy sauce for me. I ordered a scallop roll with just a touch of sriracha inside. I instructed regarding my celiac disease and was met with the most endearing frustration -- the restaurant was clearly invested in getting it right. And they did get it right. There must be people in the world, in theory, who are as happy at some point in their lives as I was while I was eating that special spicy scallop roll-- but I promise there are none happier. read more

I tried the eggplant in garlic sauce tonight and it was phenomenal! It's a super flavorful vegetarian dish and a great non-spicy option from the Sichuan menu. Very authentic to homemade traditional food! Just like how my mom cooks. I got the beef Thai red curry for lunch which came with fried rice and wonton soup! This was to go and it was packed very nicely! It was easy to grab and eat right away and there is a ton of food. I had enough for two meals! This was a good deal for the price. It was only 8.50. The restaurant is very close to where I live so it is so convenient to call in my order and they give an estimated time for you to pick up when you make your order! My friends and I came to eat here after hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Well worth the drive from Cleveland! They had been here before and spoke of the phenomenal and authentic Sichuan food. It's always the best when food feels like a warm hug. We ordered dan dan noodles, wontons in chili oil, spicy fish filet, lamb with cumin, and beef noodle soup. My favorite two things were the fish and lamb, for sure. Absolutely delicious and just the right amount of spicy for me without it being painful to eat. Service was great -- our food was served super fast and the staff was really sweet. Highly recommend if you are looking for great Chinese/Sichuan food. Whatever you order you won't get disappointed. That, of course, only if you wanna try authentic chinese food (not like americanized restaurant like Panda). If you cannot eat spicy food, order country style lamb or egg plant with garlic sauce. Gor medium spiced people, double fried pork or crispy fish fillet would he great! This is our second visit. I had a great meal the first time. This time all was good until I got to the hibachi with scallops. There was sand in it. The manager came over and argued with me that it couldn't have sand in it because nobody has ever said that before. He stood at my table for a good five minutes and basically told me I was lying and asked my daughter why she hadn't tried it too. Maybe because there is sand and she didn't want to eat it too? I'm really disappointed in the service after that. Im afraid of what's going to come out to replace it! The rest of the meal was great though. So, as you can see from my pictures, my daughter got two lobster tails with her hibachi. I guess since I sent mine back, they decided to only send one out to me. After living in the Falls for about 4 years, I thought there was a dearth of good Chinese food within delivery distance. I was thrilled to be proven wrong last night. Sushi Asia seems like something of a misnomer. While they do indeed serve sushi--and a lot of it--it seems like they really specialize in Sichuan Chinese food, which happens to be my favorite because I love anything spicy. We ordered via DoorDash, and it was an easy, convenient experience. My fiance wanted that old American standby General Tso's chicken, and it was a faithful rendition. I also went the Americanized route and got szechuan style chicken, which was incredibly fresh and spicy. We also ordered a spicy tuna roll (just to try it), and I had to get something off the sichuan menu, so I ordered the spicy and sour glass noodle soup, which I had for lunch today. The sushi roll was good, but pretty basic. I can't see myself ordering off that menu when so many more interesting dishes are available, but that's just personal preference. The soup was one of the best things I've tasted in recent memory--not an exaggeration. There was so much depth of flavor, a good hit of spice from the chili oil, and the right amount of "funk" from vinegar and pickled veggies. The next time I'm sick, this is the first thing I'm going to eat. I really can't wait to order more from the traditional menu. This was a fantastic find. read more

came here after searching yelp for local sushi places that we haven't tried, and this place had appetizing pictures and (mostly) good reviews. I have to say I was a bit nervous when pulling in, it's in a strip mall type setting behind a gas station and next to a laundromat, not really where I would guess A+ sushi would be located! My fiance and I both got sushi rolls, they were good, but overpriced for what we got, 12.95-13.95 for specialty rolls that really weren't anything special or anything i haven't had before. It took us a while to decide what to eat, there are so many menu options and none of them explain what comes with the meal. My kids got hibachi, for $16 they got chicken, some mixed veggies and white rice. No noodles which was disappointing, but again the menu doesn't specify what you get with any of the meals. My fiance and I split the spicy brisket noodle soup, it was good, not too spicy but not mild either, there were an overabundance of noodles and not really enough broth because the noodles soaked it all up, but the flavor was good. The Szechuan food is super authentic, this is not your typical Chinese restaurant. Double Cooked Pork and Beef with Cumin are my hubby's favs, but everything he's tried has been insanely good. I'm vegetarian and their vegetables are super fresh and are always cooked PERFECTLY.
