Upon arrival we went up some very nice stairs, but we were disappointed to learn they couldn't seat us because we didn't have a reservation. When we asked, they said they could accommodate us, so we sat there. We ordered 3 different pizzas. I don't remember the exact names, but both the dough and the ingredients were very good. The service was very good they gave us great recommendations several times for both the pizzas and dessert. The tiramisu was spectacular. We also tried the mascarpone with strawberries, which was a seasonal item not on the regular menu, and it was equally delicious so much so that we ended up ordering an extra tiramisu. (This time I forgot to take photos... being on vacation and in a group is such a distraction ) Despite the initial scare with the reservation, the experience ended up being very pleasant. I know, I know- the more toppings you have the more likely it is that the pizza will end up soggy. But their menu proudly lists pizzas with many toppings so I thought they could rise to the challenge. Also I purposefully didn't add tomatoes on my pizza since they can add a lot of water. Maybe I just had an off pizza and another time it would be different.. Disappointing dough aside, the toppings were very tasty and the service was friendly. For toppings, I had: olives, bacon (not crispy at all), anchovies, garlic, mushrooms, chicken (very nicely cooked- not dry at all!), and arugula (aka rocket?). If you are price sensitive, be sure to confirm the prices of things with your server as you're ordering. I had a glass of wine which on the menu was listed for about.. 35ish crowns but on the bill it was 70. I did ask about this and my server told me it was because it was a large glass of wine. I agree it was a large pour- but I didn't order nor want a large serving. Also, the make your own pizza is listed at a certain price and I asked if that was for whatever number of toppings and she had said yes when I ordered. But on the bill there was a surcharge for extra toppings. All that wasn't a huge deal as the prices were pretty good and our server was really nice, but I do not like being surprised with extra costs at the end. Also my meal went from being pretty cheap to average. The overall atmosphere was nice and casual. The gorgeous horse paintings were a nice backdrop.
