During my pedicure, I was in a lot of pain because the gentleman performing my pedicure repeatedly pulled at the corner of my toes, telling me it was a hangnail. Unfortunately, two of my toes later became infected, and I was unable to wear shoes comfortably for several days. I reported the issue to the salon within the first week and tried to give them an opportunity to make things right. I politely reached out multiple times, but each time I was either ignored or given another excuse. I was asked several questions about who performed my pedicure, which I answered, and I even provided a copy of the paperwork from the emergency clinic where I sought treatment. Despite everything I did to try to resolve the situation, they refused to provide a refund or any other resolution. I also reported the incident to the health department. I was advised that there was a change of ownership in January 2026. I want to make that clear because my experience happened under the new ownership. Reviews posted prior to January 2026 reflect the previous ownership and should be considered separately from my experience. This is not a review I wanted to write. I gave the salon multiple opportunities to address my concerns, and I asked politely each time for them to make things right. Unfortunately, I felt ignored and dismissed throughout the process. Based on my personal experience and how the situation was handled, I cannot recommend this salon and will not be returning. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.

There is a place that I used to frequent at Sheridan Plaza where the owner is gruff and unpleasant. Her husband put the polish on so thick that it didn't dry and looked terrible. There was another place next to Marshalls where they rushed me, seemed liked they disliked what they were doing and/or disliked me, and never took all of the old polish off. You could se a ridge line with the old polish under the new and bits of color from the old polish on the edges. There was the place near Belfair Krogers where the girl hurt me so bad when dealing with my ingrown toenails that I yelled in pain and bled. You get the picture. I had just about given up. I realize it is usually the luck of the draw. There are some good nail techs at most salons. I just hadn't found one. I was driving by Pink Polish 2 and pulled in and read reviews. They were mixed. Many of the bad reviews seemed to be older, so I decided to give it a try. I have latched on to Sky, and will not let anyone else do my nails. At first I was just getting pedicures. My toe nails are really difficult to do - the big toenails are painfully ingrown, two toes on my right foot have what is called hammer toe which affects the nail. Sky is a magician - seems to do the impossible - without hurting me! She doesn't rush at all and does a thorough job and is very nice to talk with. As for my fingernails which never grow, she shapes them in such a way, that I found myself having to cut them back in a month because they actually grew! I can't speak for the other nail techs there, and I can't speak for fills and gels, but I can say that for a basic mani/pedi, you can't go wrong with Sky. FIVE STARS!

Unusual request a first but I can see in these times the necessity to keep the germs down. Came here as this was the closest nail place to where I was doing errands. I also chose this place because I love Pink Polish, but learned once inside they are no longer affiliated. Note the vibe in the shop was eerily quiet no music or talking. They were able to take me right away for a regular manicure. I picked a nice OPI color and sat down. It was a pretty good manicure except the person doing my nails only wanted to do one coat of polish. I insisted on two? Crazy the price you pay for a manicure $25. has nearly doubled since Covid and now you don't even want to put on two coats?! No drying station either. The person doing my nails had me pay before polish. I thankfully had cash for the service and tip to make it easier on her. As she made change from where she was seated and didn't have to move. My polish still looks good after three days. Only because I insisted on getting two coats as I have gotten for nearly 50 years of getting my nails done. Sorry I was put in that position that I had to insist on it.
