This place has everything you could want: retro arcade games like Mortal Kombat II, air hockey, a pool table, that classic bar-style shuffleboard game, and of course--bowling. But the real magic? It's in the kitchen. A young man named Chris, who's as friendly as he is talented, makes three handcrafted barbecue sauces and a killer chili garlic sauce--each one flavorful, unique, and unforgettable. Pair them with one of the best hamburgers, pastrami sandwiches, or pulled pork plates you'll ever have, and you'll see why this place is a favorite among locals. I noticed something special here: when the service industry pros from Redding's top-rated bars and restaurants are off the clock, they choose to come here. That says everything. These folks know good food, and they keep coming back--not just for the fun and nostalgia, but for Chris's cooking and the genuinely great vibes. So do yourself a favor: bring the family, bring your dog, bring grandpa and grandma, bring your cat if you want--just don't bring a homeless person. (They've got rules, like anywhere else.) Come enjoy a slice of classic America right here in Redding, talk to Chris behind the bar, and taste the sauces that everyone's raving about. You'll be back. Trust me.

The vibe is fantastic. It feels like a true local hangout, warm, lively, and welcoming. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and on top of everything. Even when the place was packed on a Friday night, service was quick and smooth. One of the bartenders even flattered me by calling me "honey," which instantly made it feel like home. That kind of genuine, down to earth hospitality really stands out. The beer was cold and frosty, exactly what you want after a long day, and the pizza was seriously delicious. Add in a TouchTunes jukebox and a full crowd of happy locals, and you can tell this is a well loved, popular spot. I was staying right across the parking lot at the Foothills Motel, and the 10 percent discount I got at the bowling alley was a really nice bonus. If you're in Auburn and want a fun, relaxed place to grab a drink, enjoy some great food, and feel like part of the community, The Lounge at Foothill Bowl is the place to be. I'll definitely be back.

Clean and bright with comfy couch like seats at each lane. The floors were bright and look brand new. It was very refreshing to bowl at an alley that didn't have technical issues, meaning our ball never got stuck and nor did the pins. It wasn't busy at all on the Thursday afternoon when we went and we ended up staying for 3 hours. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came pretty quickly and was quite good. On the screens they advertised meal deals and bowling deals that I wouldn't be opposed to going back and trying. Every staff member that we came on contact with was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time here and are looking forward to coming back.
