Visited October 15th...see my receipt. What a great experience! So nostalgic! On Wednesdays they open at 11am to accommodate special needs groups which is awesome! The bowling area has 10 lanes and is all natural wood. They also have a small area for video games. They have food as well and I ordered a cheeseburger. WOW...it was so juicy and delicious! Someone mentioned they have great burgers and that was spot on! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time! They also have beer and wine. See newer menu pics. Been there twice. Went once to watch my sister bowl and ordered me a cheeseburger. The next time was chicken wings. They did not disappoint. They came and dropped it off at our table. I loved the atmosphere. I haven't been there for a while and the music had me smiling too. Definitely gonna go again and again. read more

This place is great! Clean and welcoming, well-lit lanes, very reasonable prices, accommodating staff, classic yummy food, and plenty of drink selections. We drove over 500 miles to spend Saturday night at Riverside Lanes. This was our second trip and it was way more fun than the first time here. We put on our crazy socks, ordered their famous cheeseburgers and tots, and set up to bowl a few games. Tonight was also Karaoke night. They had so many great songs to choose from and there was a lot of great talent at the alley. If you want to have a fun time pack up a dozen or more of your closest friends and head over. I used to come all the time, but it sure is different now. I showed up at 1045 on Sunday with kids and elderly just to be turned away. Apparently they had tournaments that was not listed on their website. It wouldn't have been such a bad experience, but the lady at the desk was rude AND we drove 40 miles to get there. Like bowling? Good. Like fantastic burgers? Even better! I have had awesome food and service from everyone but the owner/manager. That's why there's only three stars. We wanted to have my son's b-day party there and have them supply the food. I understand the owner's policy to a point. Her unwillingness to work with us while we were willing to pay extra, and I don't mean just a crisp $20 bill, left me just about ready to cancel the whole thing. We even worked a situation that was win/win for her, plus paying extra and she turned us down flat. The ONLY reason we had the bowling and cake there was because of the awesome employees. All in all, it was a fun party, but we ate first elsewhere. Bottom line, I still go in once in a while to have a burger, but I have a hard time supporting a business that doesn't even bat an eye at being so hard to work with and rude. read more

Fun little Bowling alley which seemed to provide the only fun for EVERY person under the age of 21 within 10 miles of Colusa. They do serve beer and omg their burgers are VERY tasty. So stop by and grab a bite and or a beer while bowling a game and having some fun. I love this place because of many factors.. First off the prices of bowling are practically nothing compared to what you pay at a larger place. Great music in the evenings! The food is really good, burgers and fries are bomb!! They have a good selection of drinks for the kids as well as adult beverages. My sons birthday party was held here, we booked this party weeks in advance, this was the third year we did his party there and this will be the last. Which is unfortunate because we used to really enjoy this place. We arrived 15-30 minutes before the start of our party to order 5 pizzas and three orders of fries. Two hours later we had only received 2 pizzas and one order of fries. The owner was rude seemed as though we were nothing but a burden, working in the customer service industry this is unacceptable. As we were trying to cut the cake the owner approached us and said we needed to leave because they had over booked the hall and the next party had arrived. No one got cake and we were literally shoved out the door so the next party could come in. I am both saddened and appalled but this experience. Having to explain to my 7 year old and all of our guests sorry party is over RIGHT NOW was both embarrassing and enraging. read more

Like any respectable bowling alley the music is played good and loud, rentable shoes are in good condition, and the snack bar is turning out thee best burgers in the entire county. Yes, you read that right. Also, the seasoning on the french fries is A++. Prices for games and shoe rentals are on the lower side for bowling alleys. I would leave zero stars, but Yelp wouldn't allow to leave zero We booked a birthday party for my grandson weeks in advance. We arrived at 12:45 and ordered for our party that was starting at 1:00. By 2:15 all of the food we ordered hadn't arrived. We needed to serve 15 children and 15 adults and couldn't feed all of the kids let alone any of the adults. They had another party starting at 3:30 but never let us know. So right when we were about to cut the cake the owner comes and says you need to clean up there's a party that booked the entire venue. Basically kicking us out. We spent $50 on the birthday cake that no one in our party got to enjoy. We have done our birthday party there for the last 3 years, we will NEVER do a party there again. Guests of ours were disgusted with how the owner treated us in the end. The owner clearly couldn't handle the business on her own. Thank you Riverside Lanes for ruining my grandsons party. read more
