Such a big and beautiful park! Great spot for a hike, walk the dog, play with the kids, or experience solitude. It's a little gem!

The park is a beautiful trail walk most definitely for you and your pet. Scenery is beautiful specially during fall/ winter time. Though the falls is a little bit up walk you can drive to the location too but it's very limited parking and it's by the side of a highway and under a bridge. The park itself could do more specially if you want to entertain the kids a bigger and maintained playground could be used specially with the ark being pretty big. It's an awesome spot to when the water raises to catch some fish, but you gotta be very patient. Overall it's a decent park to go to. read more

It was not hard to find at all! Just follow the signs (we were following Apple Maps and it lead us to the wrong side) and you will find it! When you enter the park, you will see "the falls" signs, park and then walk. It's not too far of a walk at all, my 4 year old had plenty of energy leftover when we got back to our vehicle haha. We didn't ride around to see what all there is, but did see a playground for the kids if you keep going straight when you enter the Park. There are restrooms as well if you drive a little way down, convenient! Very fun trip to Wichita Falls from Fort Worth, the waterfall was pretty and peaceful! read more

We were spending a day in the area and on Sunday many things are closed. We decided to visit Lucy Park and enjoyed our walk. The trails are paved and made our 1-1/2 hour walk enjoyable. We read the falls weren't running but to our delight they were! If you have children there are two playground areas. There were also several groups playing disc golf. read more

Really awesome that this park stays open so late! Park hours are from 5am-12am! We went about an hour after sundown the park felt safe and there were lots of kids around playing and fishing. We took the 1/2 a mile walk to the falls only to find out they were dried up at this time. (Mid nov) but park was beautiful at night with a lil suspense to the air!;) read more

I've been to Wichita Falls twice now over several days each visit. If it weren't for Lucy Park and the Circle Trail (which officially starts in this park), there wouldn't be much to do for people like me who enjoy hiking and walking with my dogs. The park is centrally located and easy to get to (especially when using a GPS app). Once in the park, directions and mileage to other sites like the waterfall and Williams Park are marked on signs. I took my dogs every day to walk parts of the Circle Trail, and one of my dogs loved jumping into the trashy river. My only complaint is the trash people leave behind and the dog feces dog owners don't pick up. The river also smells like affluent. Yuck! Are people in this town slobs? Do they not take pride in their city? There were rubber tires, styrofoam cups, beer cans and bottles in and around the shrubbery along the Wichita River. If it weren't for Lucky Park and the Circle Trail along the river, there wouldn't be much else for me to do in this town. The city is offering its residents so many nice amenities with this park (disc golf, a pool, running/cycling path), yet people here don't appreciate what Lucy Park has to offer. read more

Love to be surrounded by beautiful ducks and plenty of geese? Then this is your park. We headed to the local Dollar General and grabbed some healthy bird-seed and went and fed these creatures and within minutes we were completely locked in on our bench. It was amazing seeing how these birds treated each-other when fighting over a piece of dry corn. There is also a lot of beautiful trees and a small lake (or pond) with a bridge that is perfect for taking pictures on. Love to run or take a walk? Then this is your park. There is a 2 mile trail that is just gorgeous to stroll through! We had a blast and were amazed at how natural everything was. We also saw a swimming pool which we didn't get a chance to swim in and a neat little cabin that says it can be rented for special events. Cool much? With ducks, ponds, trails, playgrounds, swimming pools, volleyball courts, basketball courts, a golf course, picnic tables, barbeque grills and lots of trees, we fell IN LOVE with this park! I hate to give a park a bad rating, but we wandered around an hour trying to figure out where the falls actually were. They need better signage. We asked several people where the falls were and got mixed responses. Super confusing and disappointing. read more

We walked the park by moonlight after a long day of driving on a trip to Oklahoma. The cool night air was very inviting and the park felt safe walking in a group. Most of the wheelchair friendly trails were well-lit. The largest frogs I've ever seen live in the duck pond. You'll see them basking in the moonlight. Many of them will let you take a photo of them. I'm sure this park is lovely during the day. We couldn't enjoy the scenic overlooks because of night's darkness but we crossed an inviting bridge or two. read more

This is supposed to be the premier park of the town, and yet they haven't done hardly any upkeep on the place in years! What once was a lovely pond area to go enjoy and feed the ducks and geese has become not much more than a watery, mud puddle during the summer, and during winter (or other rainy times) it overflows the banks and into the surrounding neighborhood homes. I wish the city would clean up the overgrown nature, repair broken equipment, remove dead trees & things, & paint stuff that needs it! Then this could be the premiere park again!!! read more

The waterfalls are beautiful, even when they are a bit murky. Much to my surprise they had trails that you could walk and even ducks to feed. I went her quite a bit with my family when we lived here. Watch out for snakes! read more
