Moose told me this was a no-cost loan to re-fi my house and then after he ran my credit, I got this…read morecontract to sign papers with around $8k to close but the credits that was suppose to be given to me was also in the amount of the mortgage payments that I wasn't going to pay for a month or 2 while the loan "resets" itself. The average cost to re-fi is around $4k. He gave me $8k in the contract. The value of my properties were also off (very high), which raised red flags. He kept calling me while I was working during the day and that bothered the hell out of me. Everything was URGENT AF. I didn't want to do business with him after I saw that the bank I got approved for had VERY BAD REVIEWS and things could get mangled in the process and seeing he inflated my property values by A LOT. Moose assured me the mortgage would be sold as it is typical, but just I had to go with my gut and not do business with him after doing some research on his name and business. You've heard of those predatory lenders and I am not sure if he is one of them, but being put under pressure to sign all these documents with numbers that I knew were not true raised some very serious flags.

However, each time we looked into the budget we found more and more errors and missing information which led us to realize that the budget provided was not accurate. For example, how could we trust that we would have 500$ left over every month when our 700$ HOA payments were not accounted for in the budget. Furthermore, the website used by this company does not accurately categorize expenses and relies on the user to manually go through and correct all entries putting them in the correct category. In summary, Woodson is a company that will blow smoke up your ass and tell you you are doing great but then fails to accurately represent your income and expenses. I went to Woodson hoping to stop living paycheck to paycheck but left still living this way. It was a tremendous waste of time and money. I recommend finding help elsewhere and if you do decide to go with Woodson, do the math and double check their work.
