For the first time since my session with Lynn 10 years ago, I just re-listened to the recording…read more I'm glad I have the recording but now realize how disconnected her reading was. She never really connected with anyone who had passed and was connected with me. She asked general questions that led her to know who had passed in my life, with a clear intent to just fill the time, but never really came up with anyone directly attached to me who had passed. Questions like "was there somewhere you and your husband liked to go to dinner". Of course there was - we were together 32 years! Her response to that was, he is telling me that he wants you to take your kids there'. She also filled the time by giving me advice I was not seeking. I asked her if she could tell me what my husband felt about my job at the time. In return she asked me if I was unhappy there and once I said yes, she asked if I can quit. Then all she told me was that if I'm unhappy I should seek another job, and/or control the situation at my job to be what I wanted it to be, so that it isn't so unhappy. Well, that's obvious, but I wasn't seeking her advice on the obvious, I wanted to know if my husband had anything to say about it. She also kept telling me how I should feel or act about who passed and how I should be treating my children concerning it (more like parenting advice), not what spirits were saying. Now that I have re-listening to my recording, I would say she did not perform any amazing connections with anyone, nor give me any information about my husband that I was seeking. It was all generalizations. At one point (after taking 45 mins to realize my husband was the one I was wanting to hear from), she asked me if his passing was sudden. When I said no, she kept trying to tell me that my husband was indicating it was sudden, and that I must not be undertanding what he meant but maybe in years to come I would. Huh? He had cancer and suffered for 26 months with it, which ended in Hospice care for 2 weeks. Nothing sudden about it at all. So her comments made no sense now that I hear it again. I believe in mediumship and psychics, but am now wondering if my grief 10 years ago clouded my view and feelings about her session. It is pretty clear now that I hear it again, without desparately needing to hear from my husband, that she didn't really perform any mediumship or psychic connections during our session.

She just places them randomly in a pyramid almost out of habit and for decoration. Doesn't even look at the cards and just makes assumptions based off answers you give her. I'm not saying she's not gifted whatsoever but she spins the narrative and doesn't provide specifications. She's also really religious, prejudiced, and biased so DO NOT come to her if you aren't religious, aka atheist. She will ask questions that guide her story so try to be as vague as possible. Many questions did not resonate whatsoever like "So you've been in a recent bad relationship?" No. I've been single my whole life. So to save face, she'll dismiss her mistakes and claim that was based off your past life. She does this A LOT if she's moving in the wrong direction and makes excuses for it. After an hour or so of the vaguest readings, she claimed my sadness (which I hinted at from the beginning) was hindering her reading. After random spiels of BS, she admitted she couldn't get a good read BUT blamed it on my depression which was a result of my lack of faith/religion. This should have nothing to do with affecting psychic readings, and any reputable psychic will tell you they can't read you in the beginning and won't charge you. She kept me until the end to say she couldn't read me too well and I still had to pay. Good psychics also would never rely on asking questions for everything--only very rarely if they had to for clarity. Overall left very dissatisfied and more confused than ever. Also, I hate to say, but there is an off smell throughout the whole reading. It's not the candles.
