I texted Smith Bro's for a quote and sent pictures. They were honest with me about the fabric & how it may be difficult to get it fully white again. I appreciated that honesty. Once we set up an appointment, they tested a spot on my couch, first, to see if it would be worth my time & money. Again, they were honest that it might not come out to be as white as I would like. But I decided to give it a go & Jeremy (I'm pretty sure that was his name) worked diligently for 4 hours to try to get it as clean as he could. He did an amazing job! It looked SO much better once he was finished. Of course, they were right. My couch isn't bleach white anymore. But they were able to get many stains out & make it look so much more presentable. I'm thankful for the honesty & effort put into cleaning our beautiful couch. I will be using Smith Bro's in the future. Our couch is a large sectional & they charged $275 to have it cleaned & an additional $150 for the scotch guard product they use (only it's better than scotch guard). After receiving quotes from other companies, I felt this was a fair price as well. Highly recommend!

Additionally some cleaning cos expect you to provide cleaning supplies. To help you calculate pricing, both jobs took about 6-6.5 hrs to clean fully empty spaces (ranging 1650-1800sf). Levette took the time to understand the project up front and provide a final price during our conversation. She arrived promptly during both appointments and even drove from San Diego to the OC. She made all appliances look brand new and thoroughly cleaned according to the scope of work we discussed. Very satisfied with her work. Made the process of moving out and in much easier.

Unfortunately, I felt compelled to deduct two stars for a couple of reasons. First, the team did not clean what they considered "cluttered" areas. In practice, this meant that surfaces such as my bathroom counter and office desk were skipped entirely. I understand not moving or organizing personal belongings, but there were crumbs and visible spots that we had to clean ourselves before guests arrived the following day. Additionally, things like trash bins and appliances were left out of place, as if the team left in a hurry. Ultimately, I did not feel I received the full value of the service. Second, while avoiding those "cluttered" surfaces, the team nevertheless moved several art prints and canvases that I had set aside for framing. They placed a heavy plastic office chair mat directly on top of them, leaving several pieces crumpled. Fortunately, I was able to flatten most of the wrinkles, but I was surprised by the lack of care shown toward personal items. To the company's credit, Ellen promptly offered a discount on a future cleaning with a different team, which I genuinely appreciated. Ellen also offered to have a team return and address the remaining areas, but we had already taken care of it ourselves. Given this experience, I don't think we'll be using the company again, sadly.

I ended up spending a few hours cleaning after the two guys they sent out missed a bunch of stuff that was promised. It was my first time ever hiring a cleaner, though, so I thought maybe my expectations were just too high, culminating in a pretty disappointing and discouraging experience. Absolutely Clean was my second attempt at finding a service and the difference between them and the previous company was night and day. I had booked just a general cleaning this time, and Aksana did a better job than the "deep cleaning" the other company provided at 1/4 the price and 1/2 the man-power! She was extremely thorough and meticulous, cleaning things and areas I hadn't even expected her to. She even got stains off my oven that I had long given up on.
