Ice cream cart with 3-4 flavors

Pretty nice lounge as it's spacious and there's a room with about 4 beds you can lie flat and sleep in (first come first serve). Tons of outlets and USB post to charge your electronic devices while you wait for your next flight, and the seat widths are very wide compared to say United Club in SFO. There's also showers and a very clean bathroom which I appreciated We were welcomed with an ice cream cart that had espresso flavored ice cream, my favorite! The also have some hot food items and a large section with soft German pretzel, all of which I skipped as I had a large lunch an hour prior. Drinks-wise, they have 2 beers on tap, and plenty of wine and other spirits which are self serve. The still water on tap is very refreshing, definitely a step above what I've had in US-based airline lounges (excluding bottled water). Very on par with Centurion despite not having a full service bar where a bartender makes you some cool cocktails. Surprisingly less crowded compared to what people have said on FT. Overall this is more of a 4.25/5, just a step below my experiences at the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (JFK T4) or Emirates Business (SFO) of which I'd give 5s. Highly recommended if you're *A Gold or flying premium!

The Lufthansa Senator lounges in Terminal A and B are operating. The non-schengen lounge in Terminal Z is not. Pretty much everything is closed in Terminal Z. There is hot food, coffee, soft drinks, draft beet and juices served in this lounge. As such, there are many people crowding the lounge. Masks are strictly enforced.

This lounge serves its purpose. I stayed here for about three hours during layover. They have three showers available and if you want to take a shower, sign up early as they may have a waitlist. Shower facility is minimal. They have liquid soap, clean towels, but that's pretty much it. Perhaps I got spoiled by some lounge in Asia where they provide everything (shampoo, hair brush, toothbrush, slippers, lotion.....). Be prepared to bring your own here. Regardless it was still nice to rinse off after a long flight. Food option was good, better than US. Outlet available by each seats (need EU adapter), I was able to charge my phone. Good free wifi, I was able to write several Yelp reviews while waiting. Try their espresso if you like coffee, they make pretty good coffee here and I enjoyed a cup or two. Nothing fancy but will serve the purpose.

This is an excellent lounge. I loved the soft pretzels and small hot dog links. They have good food that is German...like the vegetable meat soup. This lounge has a Lavazza coffee/chocolate machine. The food is pretty good for a lounge and it feels modern and European. Nothing to complain about. Great place to hang out at before a flight.

You gotta get the big pretzel!

(For clarity, this is for the Lufthansa lounge in Terminal 1 / Z gates) This lounge can be a bit crowded, but it's a fantastic spot to burn time on your layover in Frankfurt. This is my go-to lounge if you're flying out of Frankfurt to the USA, it's located after all of the customs/passport control and within a 5 minute walk from the Z gates. Despite the crowds, there always seems to be a place to sit and the staff do a great job at replacing the food. And the selection of items is really great, especially compared to the typical airline lounge in the USA. There are a few beers on tap, plenty of mixers for cocktails and snacks galore! The free wifi is usually pretty solid as well.

This review is for the Lufthansa lounges I recently visited during my stopover in Frankfurt. A lot has changed since the last time, and a couple of new lounges have opened. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to hit up the C gates this time, as that lounge was one of my favorite. - Gate Area B: There is a lounge located at the end of each satellite in the B gate boarding areas. Both require you to go upstairs to access the lounge, and both are fairly new. They are pretty much identical in terms of space, food, and amenities. I would consider this the lowest quality of the lounges at FRA. You have barely any views of the tarmac, since it's all blocked off by secret walkways. The food selection is almost nonexistent, with only some soup and crackers. Since the space is brand new, there's plenty of sitting room. - Gate Area A (Level 3): This lounge is located right outside of security, and is the lounge welcoming most transfer passengers. The food selection is a bit better here, featuring a pretty tasty pasta selection made on the spot, sausages, salads, and other goodies. There's plenty of space here as well, but not as much as the B gates. The views are so-so, but aircraft movement remains quite minimal. - Gate Area A (Level 2 - Senator): This is hands down my favorite lounge at FRA. The entrance is split for Business and Senator lounges, but one can hop between them without a problem, since the only bathroom is on the Business side. The senator lounge features the delectable thick slices of warm ham, chicken nuggets, cheese and meat selections, and a bread spread station that has an attendant working it. There is also a selection of various salads and other goodies. What I love the most about this lounge, however, is the views. If you're lucky, try to get a seat on the high tables. From here, you can see the best selection of aircraft taxiing by non stop. A dream for an aviation buff like me :-)

    Seasonal dish:pasta & bretzel
    Hu K.

Like most other LF lounges, there are always plenty of food and drinks. This lounge has seasonal dish made on-site. A few months ago, the item was wrap. This month, it is a green pesto pasta. so good. Then there is my favorite, Bretzel... You can take a shower too. Sometimes Senator lounges get more crowded than business lounges because all gold members come here when business class passengers go to business lounge. It also varies which time of the day..

Nice variety and quality of food

Although a little cramped, the Senator lounge beats any United Club hands down.

It was enjoyably quiet and mellow. The lounge has a self-serve bar which is very nice and features a variety of liquor, mixers, draft and bottled beer, and more. There are a few cappuccino, espresso and cafe stations scattered throughout the lounge. Additionally, a self-serve food buffet serves everything from a warm hearty meal to a delightful salad bar. For the holidays, the Senator lounge also featured a delicious port wine and fresh slices of stollen. Complimentary magazines and newspapers were available to read at two stations throughout the lounge. Several varieties of formal and casual seating could be found, as well as quiet spaces, cafe-style seating, charging stations with USB charging ports and EU outlets (no USB-C, so bear that in mind). Lastly, the Senator Lounge featured a shower suite area with all the amenities to freshen up between your flights.

We hung out in Terminal 2 until opening time. The furnishings and decor are dated, but comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. The scrambled eggs & bacon was what we needed to get us through to boarding. The apples in the fruit salad were very fresh. The mochaccino was very good. We didn't try any of the alcoholic beverages. Hey, it was 6:00 in the morning. I really would have loved to try the Japanese curry that they're famous for serving, but didn't get that opportunity. My biggest surprise was actually in the restroom. They have Toto Japanese toilets. I didn't know how to use the remote control. Fortunately, the toilet seat was already set on warm. What a cool experience! Lol! My husband was happy with his shower. He said it wasn't as nice as the Flagship Lounge in Chicago, but it was perfect for his needs. What's also great is that it was near our gate. Our AA flight departed at D1. This lounge was somewhere around D6. We didn't need to walk far. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in Frankfurt.
