I used to take my car to the AZ Christian Brothers regularly and always trusted their service, so I was happy to see a location here in Tulsa as well. An issue did come up during my visit, but when I brought it to their attention, management took it seriously and went above and beyond to make it right. They truly stand by their word and their work. Because they handled everything professionally and appropriately, they still have my trust and my business. My 30-year-old car has 273K miles of wear and tear on any original parts, so the job turned out to be more than simply replacing the pads. The quoted estimate was $1500 for the pads, brake calipers, drums, brake rotors, hardware kits, fluid, and labor. I had seen my car on a lift before taking it to Advantage Auto, and after inspecting the wheels, I knew the brake job was going to be involved (which is part of the reason I didn't want to do it myself). Jason loaned me a car for the day, which I greatly appreciated. AA worked from 9:00 till around 5:30 (they had delays in receiving parts from across town), and got me out of there the same day. My final price of $1300 was lower than the estimated $1500, as they didn't charge me for all the replacement parts. The brakes have been working as needed over the last month. Was it a lot of money? Yes. Did I get what I paid for? Yes. Would I go back? Yes.

My truck was making a terrible noise and was getting worse…read more I took it into a transmission shop that told me the transmission needed re-built and the cost was $3,800. I contacted On Site and Allen came out, drove my truck and said that the issue wasn't the transmission but the front wheel bearings. He replaced them and solved my issue. $3,800 verses $550. I highly recommend this guy.

He did say that there would be restocking fee if I cancel the job. I didn't care because he gave me his word, and I trusted him that he would fix the car. He NEVER SHOWED. He said he was going to refund me $800 and told me to return the parts myself to Auto Zone. I did and was refunded $587. I asked him to refund me the difference so we can remain civil about this; but Alan only calls back when he wants to.....very poor customer service. To any prospective customer: DO NOT trust his word. He claims to be honest and sincere. He might be until he gets your money. I have our full conversation that turned sour if anyone is considering hiring him. I might even seek legal counsel if this review does not make him refund the money.

Started with my check engine light coming on and then then the parking assist light flashing, next the service soon light! It was like a lit up Christmas tree of warnings! Sent my anxiety soaring! So- I took it right in. I took it to Midas because I trust them. Went in and asked Scott if they could take a look and see what the heck was going on.... I was ready to blame the snow and ice for it all! Well....(Drumroll) They SO found the problem! A bunny!! Or as we call him, Kevin Jr. Appears this cutie was causing quite the kerfuffle!! Kevin (The mechanic) at Midas was amazing. He went above and beyond to get Kevin Jr. out safely. He was so careful not to hurt him and he extracted the cute big hairball out of my engine like a true professional. Kevin Jr. was released into the wild to go get into someone else's car! : ) Afterwards they took great care of my car, and me. Fixed what the bunny damaged (which was a result of him chewing on things) and now I'm happy to say my car is all better. I spent over $800 on an air intake problem that was quoted at $400-600. I budgeted for that amount only to find out it is costing $820 and he wasn't even compassionate about the fact that if gave him the extra $200 my family would be broke until my next paycheck. It also took two extra days because he had issues with his parts suppliers sending him the wrong parts. This company is a bad choice to do business with. I get its a business but it's bad business not notifying your customers of cost increases and waiting until they call to tell them it's going to take longer than expected. Be warned his quote is unreliable and you pay way than expected.

Since this was a Saturday many car care places were closed, I happened to find Sinclair after a quick search of finding someone who was open on a Saturday afternoon. Sinclair was quick with their service, but also took time to answer questions and explain what the problem was with my vehicle. When I followed up with additional questions they clearly explained things in a way I could understand. They also took the time to show my husband and I what was the source of the issue. We also happened to share that we had a nail in the tire that we noticed when it was loaded up on the tow truck prior to our arrival, mentioning that we would need to go get the tire taken care of after we left Sinclair. They then went above and beyond to taking care of the screw that was in the tire. A day later they called to see if I made it back home safely. Thankful for the care they showed even after we left!
