Please note- this score is NOT a reflection of the vendors but of the Event Management. Very little pre-event communication. It wasn't until day of that an entry fee was posted and questions for weeks beforehand on the facebook page went unanswered. I didn't mind the queue to get inside. Fortunately I was there before the Rain began, but still endured the strong winds. And it moved fast! The event was over-capacity. I heard horror stories of people (ie: my friends) waiting 1.5 hours outside in a queue to Buy food. At the advice of the man working the door, I immediately went inside downstairs. The room was full of tables and benches and after 25 minutes of hovering, I snagged seats. Though holding those seats for friends waiting for food for another 60 minutes was not an easy job. Luckily the professionals from walter&sohn were conveniently located behind me without a line. The white vs red wein pours were Very uneven but alcohol was alcohol and was able to hold me over until someone brought me (gave up on the lines outside and waited on one inside) a sweet potato sandwich from Effe&Gold. And yes, this was Gold standard in my book. Hopefully they put this event on again. It has potential and interest!!! Maybe charge for tickets in advance and then open to all but caution there will be separate entrances and priority to those advance purchasers.

The only reason we had lunch at this spot was a table could only be had after a 40 minute wait on the curb. Feet almost never lie, especially when what drives those feet is hunger and a sharp, discerning taste. When it comes to this variety of noodles, I've spent years living in Asia and Max's brought be back to one of my favorite hawker centers. They make the noodles right in front of you. The broth, the beef, the spice.... perfection. Just for fun, I added a Fanta to my meal and then begged for another hit of noodles, which they will do, if you ate the type of person to finish them before consuming the broth, which is the correct way to eat Chinese noodles.

We were treated to burgers by Grillin' Me Softly at our hackathon this weekend, so I can't comment…read moreon the menu or prices - but it was by far the best burger I've had in Munich! They even accommodated my "medium rare" order, and I actually finished the whole enormous thing. The guys in the truck were friendly and worked fast, and I'm still thinking about the sweet relish and perfectly-cooked beef. I'll update once I've tried them properly on their turf, hopefully with some fries on the side; and this WILL happen, because I'm determined to track them down for another excellent burger!

Munich's first gourmet food truck has definitely got people talking about street food, and these boys should pat themselves on the back for that! Where they lack in seating (for obvious reasons), they certainly make up for in taste, portion size, and flavor :) Honestly, it took me about 3 minutes to finish this burger.....it wasn't that small, it just tasted THAT good! I'd argue that the burgers are on par, if not BETTER, than some of the sit-down burger places around the city......I'm talking to you Burger House and Burger&Bier!!! I'm really pumped to try one of their steaks soon too! Also, I want to hug these boys for their sweet potato fries. You make a Southern girl's heart smile with those. The only thing confusing to me is the guacamole dip.....let the fries speak for themselves!
