We walked into this charming café in the afternoon, just before closing. I asked for their most popular cheesecake, and I was lucky enough to meet Laura, the owner. She kindly guided us to the best choices and even suggested the most cost-effective way to sample a variety of flavors. And the cheesecake? Absolutely the best I've ever tasted--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. When she learned we still had a two-hour drive home, she thoughtfully packed our cheesecake with ice packs and even included extra samples for us to enjoy later. Her kindness and hospitality truly made the experience special. The café itself is beautifully decorated--clean, cozy, and full of classic East Texas charm. This stop turned into a highlight of our trip. I would absolutely drive two hours back just to visit again and try their brunch!

No matter the time you visit, hand sanitizers are empty, lid station for cups is a wreck, and the wait time at the counter is unacceptable. It is almost as if they purposefully ignore the counter to encourage customers to use the self-ordering station by the front door. Now I am sure many customers will not mind ordering at the station but if their is something wrong with the order or the customer needs assistance for something else, there should not be this extended wait period for help. The drive-thru is always packed and their etiquette for taking orders is subpar. There is obviously no training on how to properly address a customer's order in the drive thru. Supervision/Management seems young and in-experienced. I say this because after a mishap has occurred you will not see any immediate correction and you are almost guaranteed to have the same mistake upon returning. Honestly, If you do not care about Quality, Excellence, and/or Attention to Detail, then this restaurant will be the perfect place for you. I recommend disregarding your customizations because if you ask for "KETCHUP & CHEESE ONLY, NO VEGETABLES" you will most likely receive Mustard, No cheese with onions. This restaurant does not have what it takes to be an exceptional fast food establishment and it is a waste of commercial space.
