Initially, I was told that it was a 2 days job once the cabinets were completed. He told me that it took longer than expected to complete the cabinets because of the paint that was on the cabinets. I had no issues with this but it was being said throughout the process to justify other delays. As the professional, when you come out and provide an estimate you should size up the job based on your expertise. The day the boxes were to be done was the first delay, he hurt his leg, I understood and had no issues with this delay. The next date he was to come do the boxes, his truck got stuck at the lake. I was thinking, not my issue but what could I do except wait. I was told the boxes would be done one day and the doors hung the next. Well that didn't happen, after the boxes were finished more delays ensued. There were 3 other delays due to work being done on other jobs that had to be finished. Meanwhile, I left feeling like my job was moved to the back of the line and was unimportant. To add insult to injury, he would send me pictures of other jobs he was doing while my job was left on hold. Needless to say, the experience was beyond frustrating. I'm a single woman and started to wonder if he does business with men this way. Once the job was completed and he was paid in full; I found that door handles that were missing screws, hinges not properly placed, over spray on the ceiling, my washer and dryer had paint and was scratched and the trim in 2 areas that where painted by hand looked like a 2 year old did it. After a few tries to get him to fix the issues, I gave up and had someone else fix these issues because I no longer wanted to have any contact with him. Hopefully no one else has this type of experience with this business.

This made a huge difference to me in who I decided to talk with, as the whole point of sending the photos and measurements was to get estimates easily and not talk on the phone to a lot of different people or have a lot of different people visiting my house to look at a small hole.
