I originally was being seen at William Beaumont for my prenatal care and had the worst experience (…read morenever got calls regarding lab results, always seen a different person and husband unable to attend any appointments yes I understand covid is around). During the end of my pregnancy I decided to be seen by Dr. Hernandez and wow what a game changer. My husband was able to meet the doctor and hear our bundle of joy heart beat for the first time and see the baby on the ultrasound. I felt very comfortable with the care that Dr Hernandez provided and this was my first pregnancy, she always followed up with me and seem to remember who I was on the next visit, she always made sure that I understood everything and I never felt rushed during the visit. Sadly the on call doctor delivered my baby I figured my baby would grace us with his presence on a day she didn't work but hey she did come in and check up on me at 6am on the dot. My only regret was not being seen by her during my whole pregnancy, I highly recommend to give her a try and you'll see what I'm talking about on the first visit.

From the late night phone calls to visiting my wife every morning whenever she was in the hospital (which was a lot), he constantly reassured us that both mom and baby will be fine. He is definitely one of the smartest and kind hearted medical professionals you will ever have. Words alone cannot describe the type of person he is but if I could use one word to describe him/this pregnancy joruney, it would be UNFORGETTABLE! Brenda on the other hand, the only front office receptionist is the other person I would like to recognize as she was always going above and beyond her responsibilities as a receptionist. She would not only get my wife the answers she needs right away but she would spend that extra momeny to keep my wife calm when she was anxious and always had her laughing to do do so. Thank you Brenda for being an amazing person! CONS: The front office staff (everyone except for Brenda) provided the worst customer service I have ever seen. My wife was deemed a high risk pregnancy almost immediately upon getting pregnant and was put on strict bed rest in September of last year and having constantly high blood pressure since the second trimester, office visits and phone calls to the OBGYN were a frequent thing. The only person that every showed any kind of urgency or concern and didn't feel bothered by a concerned mother was Brenda. The rest of the front office staff would be extremely rude and hurtful and there definitely needs to br a change whether any of them are family or not. Besides all of that, if you can withstand his front office staff (ask for Brenda everytime;), Dr. Garcia is by far one of the best (if not the best) OBGYN(s) in El Paso and I highly recommend him to any pregnant couple! I was in town briefly for my…read moreGrandfathers funeral & I accompanied my Grandmother to an appointment she set up that same morning for exceptional pain (probably brought on by stress due to her husbands death) First, the clinic is very clean, they offer coffee & offer snack to the patients by taking a little snack cart around. These people are on a first name patients with their patients & not just the Doctors, the entire staff! Once we got in to her exam room, the Medical Assistant, Jesse was taking her vitals & I told him that my Grandfather passed away & if there was anything he could do to get us through the appointment fast, it would be greatly appreciated because his services were in just a few hours. This staff sprung in to action! Jeff Taylor, the Nurse Practitioner who she was assigned to came in to the exam room, looked straight in to her eyes and sincerely apologized for her loss. He addressed her pain and distress in a professional and compassionate manor & we were on our way in no time. On the way out, she was hugged and greeted by this wonderful staff. I live in Los Angeles and can't be with my Grandmother but I'm so grateful for this caring staff & feel relieved that they care for her so well. It eases my mind like you wouldn't believe. Luki Bakuya NP was incredibly warm and friendly. While she moved quickly she asked me a number of questions and listened to my response. She has great bedside manner. The staff are friendly and welcoming, helpful and patient. Rooms are clean and well maintained, everyone I interacted with was kind and provided assistance (how to download the app, where my papers were, locating a restroom, etc). I commend this office for having consistency and amazing customer service, as well as treatment.
