We called Luke's tree service because we had six eucalyptus trees that were excessively tall, three pepper trees, five palm trees, and an overgrown pear tree. . Not only did they come out the day after they quoted us, when they came out they were absolutely efficient. Luke met with me frequently to make sure the trees were being trimmed to my liking. Their price was very fair and reasonable. But we thought it would be a multi day project ended up only being about a day. I when the job was finished they cleaned up everything. Do NOT hire this company!!!!! When I first called them to trim my trees I asked for No Spikes, they said no problem. They show up with spikes. After going back and forth they finally said we can do it without spikes. They trimmed my trees so choppy and thin half my branches are falling off that should still be there. ONE week after trimming 2 branches have fallen down. Nicely, I call them back to come cut the fallen branches and they respond with I'll come tomorrow. It took 3 times of doing this to me finally giving up. I finally had another company come out and touch up the tree. This company said it's the worst job they've seen in a long time!! I will not be working with Lukez again nor would I ever recommend him to anyone. First of all,he made it seem like he would be doing our entire yard (4.8 acres) when he quoted us $8,000.00 (weedwacking and tree trimming). We thought it was a little steep but for that much of an area we decided to go through with it. Then he later said told me that would only be doing 100 ft radius around our home. -He actually didn't even do a full 100 ft surrounding our house so now we have to do that still because fire season is a serious threat where we live this time of year.-After we found out that he was charging that much for such little work we told him we'd rather do the trees ourselves. He was very upset and harassed me all day while I was at work. It made me feel really uncomfortable. Then he had texted me that the weedwacking would be $700 and he went to pick up the money from my husband-I didn't feel comfortable dealing with him anymore- and charged him $1,000.00. For not even 100ft surrounding our house of weedwacking work. $1,000.00 ....After the way he acted toward me I wasn't really surprised but I still felt totally violated. He's a misleading scam artist out to rip you off. Be weary!! Don't make the same mistake we did. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Luke and his team are accommodating and efficient but fast workers. We hired him once in May then again last week to clear our yard of weeds. We have a close to 0.25 acre lot that isn't properly mulched and had prior landscaping done (no grass)..They cleared the weeds and cleaned up our plants, as well as removed a small palm. Highly recommend Lukez Tree Service. Hard to find a tree service (or any service for that matter) that is so conscientious and customer service oriented. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly as an efficient team and left my Mother's property cleaner than when they arrived. They left the wood chips where she would be able to use them for mulch later and the wood where she stacks it for her fireplace. They moved items that might possibly be damaged before they began their work and even covered plants that might be damaged with plastic buckets. My Mom has used other tree services over the years and has even had to clean up after some of the crews, but this is the most efficient, reasonable and thorough service she has ever used. She had six huge Chinese elms trimmed and a large Juniper removed and she'll use Lukez to trim the remaining trees on her property. She couldn't be happier with this company.
