There are two different shops, and they reign right beside each other on the beautiful downtown stretch of Hartselle Alabama. The prom dress story is the one that many Yelp users have added pictures of, but the original store is a bridal boutique. I have been to both. The bridal boutique is by far my favorite of the two because of the care and intentionality of the staff. It never ceased to amaze me how in tune the team​ is to what a bride should feel like in "the" dress. Lve the store!

She waited outside the changing room to help zip up or clip together all the dresses, which I really appreciated. At some other salons, I was left to fend for myself and half the time couldn't get the dresses completely zipped up. I actually ended up going with a dress Emily picked out, which I think is a testament to her expertise on what a bride is specifically looking for. A few weeks later, I got a lovely card in the mail from Emily congratulating me on saying yes to the dress. I can't wait to wear my dress for my wedding in March!

They did not order it like they were supposed to and it came in WAY too long. Every appointment after that for alterations were horrible. I felt SUPER uncomfortable and the seamstress wouldn't explain things to me when I didn't understand. (I'm not a big dress wearer so all things alterations are gibberish to me). When I went to my last appointment to check them gem, I didn't like it because I felt it was too short (you could see the tops of my feet) and I was given nothing but attitude and basically told I was wrong for not liking my hem. Now I've picked up my dress, got home to try it on and show my mother, the hem is EXTREMELY uneven. Like, she just completely forgot to cut half of my dress. (We're talking a good 2-3 inches of extra fabric). The lace is peeling up I'm pretty much every spot it was re-laid (can't think of the correct word) AND I was charged not only for all the alterations (which is obviously expected) BUT ALSO the custom length order, that wasn't even done. So now I'm 2 weeks out from my wedding and i have to fix my wedding dress MYSELF because they did such a crappy job. I will never buy from here again or recommend to anyone.

Dresses are hung according to size. I asked if a dress was bought do they dry clean the dress prior to pressing it. Nope! So if you buy here plan on $100-$300 to dry clean your own dress. If pressed without cleaning make-up& oils from trying it on will be set permanently in your gown. They only have a front face mirror. No way to view sides or back. They do not allow photos. How can a bride truly see her back. I believe most dresses are really old or demo's and this shop does not want you to know that prior to purchasing it. The young consultant was not knowledgeable and had her drinking tumbler sipping away durning our appointment. I totally do not recommend this shop.
