We started several months out from the wedding with the tasting. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable and had samples of their entire menu for us to try. They met us before business hours, answered every question we had, and even sent food home with us. We were so hooked that we barely looked anywhere else for a caterer. At the wedding reception they provided a great family style meal that all of the guests were more than pleased with. We got nothing but raving reviews from the guests and even had one of the vegetarian guests smother her salad in one of the sauces that Old Carolina provided. They did, however, forget a portion of the meal that we paid for. Once we identified the error, they worked to rectify the issue. They were quick to make the monetary fix and were nothing but courteous and professional in the process. Despite the error, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company to anyone who wanted to use them for catering. And, for the quality and amount of food we got, we would have paid close to twice what we did anywhere else. You would be hard pressed to find this quality food with the level of customer service and professionalism anywhere else in NE Ohio. Had the mistake not happened, I would have easily rated this establishment with 5 stars instead of 4.

The only let down was the western omelette combo...it came with two weirdly tiny omelettes and a small scoop of potatoes and was $21. Meanwhile my giant quesadilla was only $13 - a deal! Our server said she was new and didn't know much about the omelette combo so I am wondering if it was not the right thing. Derek was responsive and very helpful. He spent time with me on the phone to discuss the event and made menu suggestions for what would work for the number of guests we expected to attend and he visited the site to see the space in advance of the event. On the day of the event, he arrived early to ensure that everything was set-up and ready ahead of our guests' arrival. He made two trips to our location, one for breakfast and one for lunch and he remained on-site during lunch to fill in items as needed. The quality of the food was excellent. We served a light breakfast and lunch. The breakfast pastries were baked that morning as were the cookies and cobbler bites and it was apparent in the quality.
