This is a typical small airport. There isn't a lot of traffic, and everything is simple and easy. There are no flights early in the morning or late at night. Also, there isn't a money exchange place. I have a huge issue with the wifi. I come in and out of this joint often and I need my wifi. Every time I come now, the wifi works for about 2 minutes. Then it says " account expired." Besides that this place is Your gateway to Lapland. Very clean . Very cozy. It's not the largest of airports but has a nice woody feeling to it. Also very modern. Very easy checking in an getting through security. (Which can sometimes be troublesome for Colbee, being black) Be sure to stop by olearys for a wobbly pop on your way to your destination. A small cozy airport that suits most needs! Fast to get in and out of this airport, although snow can be a troublemaker during winter season. No need to be here early for the flight, you will pass the security and reach the gates in no time. There are some obnoxiously cab options outside waiting, so be sure to check the fare before. Its around 300 SEK and 15 minute cab drive to central Luleå. There are a couple of shops and dining options inside the gates. So there is no problem splurging some of your hard earned cash on some expensive sandwich if you like. Overall a small and easy going place to fly from so you will definitely not get lost! read more
