I absolutely love the lululemon products and cannot say a bad word about them!! With that being said the reason I am rating this store 1 star is due to the lack of professionalism within the store. The staff is extremely unfriendly and just plain rude. I went into the store this week to purchase a pair of leggings. None of the employees in the store asked what I was looking for or if I needed help, probably due to the fact that I am younger and they assumed I wasn't going to be purchasing anything. I have visited this store several times and continue to have the same experience. I recommend the store at the domain in Austin, much better customer service!!! No customer should be made to feel less important or uncomfortable in any store. Really disappointed in this store as I love the brand!!! read more

Great stuff. Just a little pricey... yep. Its kinda expensive. Like wait for a while, save up a little more moolah, then buy those pants you want. OR be rich and shop here often and swipe that plastic. One way or another though they have good stuff. They do community classes every Saturday and that rocks. Be VERY careful about what you buy there! I purchased shorts, socks and a headband three days ago. I changed my mind about the headband, and after risking my life parking on the street (all of their spots in the lot were full,) I went in to exchange the headband for another pair of their sports socks. The cashier told me that the headband was a final sale item even though I had my receipt, paid full price ($12!) and the tag was still on the headband. It had not been worn. In small print on the bottom of my receipt was the statement "...headwear, underwear, and swimwear are final sale." I was never told this policy on the day that I purchased the overpriced headband. I will not be shopping there again...even though I do love the shorts! I wish I had spoken to a manager instead of the rude, young clerk! read more

This place is the best place for any workout gear or light leisure wear. The headquarters are in Vancouver and I've actually visited the main store on Robson street. They were a little late coming to Austin, but better late than never. They are branching out into other fashion items but they have the basics right- clothes that fit well, let your skin breathe and are quite hip. The price point may be a little high but you get what you pay for. This staff here are helpful and are not in the business of up selling. They are opening up in the Domain. Worst service. I was looking at some pants to confirm or debunk the online reviews of the material being see-through. Here's the conversation: Her: Finding everything? Me: Yes. Just seeing if these are in fact see through. Her: We've never heard that. Me: There are lots of complaints about them online so I'm just checking it out myself. I have a pair from last year that I love, but I've read the material is different. Her: Well, I don't know what you're talking about. No one has ever said that. Then she walked away. Even a complete stranger looked at me and said, "what was that?" Um, really? There are 2 problems here: 1) As an employee, shouldn't you know what your online reviews say? There is even a disclaimer now on the product's website for being sheer! 2) That's just rude. After that exchange, I didn't even want to try the pants on. I put them down and walked out of the store. Just a tip, Lulu, do not tell your customers they are wrong or be so completely rude. This was my second negative experience with someone from this location. (The Domain location has outstanding folks!) By the way, I could actually see the color of my nail polish through the pants. So, online reviews were confirmed. read more

Love the folks at lulu! The store is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable- not just about their clothing but about all things fitness and fun-related in austin. As a yoga student and instructor I make it down to lulu at least once a month to update my wardrobe, not that I even need to because their clothes last forever. And if the regular stuff is a bit out of your budget, check out the sale rack near the dressing rooms for good stuff at a discount. I can't even begin to say how much I love the clothes from this store. Yes, they may be on the expensive side, but these clothes do what they say they will. They do not ride up when you're doing yoga or pilates...they stretch with you. The runner's shorts that they carry are the best running shorts that I've ever worn. The Swiftly Tech t-shirt wicks away like no other. The feel good pants...well they just feel so dang good. The sales staff are so friendly and helpful. And....they do free alterations on any item that they sell. Highly recommend!!! read more

Let me prefice this by saying I LOVE lululemon clothing, it is unrivaled in its quality and design. I will continue to buy online because I can never frequent the 6th St location again. I own two Pilates studios and a personal training studio in Austin and totally support this clothing line but every time I visit the 6th Street store I leave feeling like I don't matter. The last experience was the worst. A yoga top I purchased was defective (a rare occurence) but the manager on duty refused to take it back. Not only did she refuse to exchange the top, she denied it was defective, shouted over me so I couldn't finish the sentence, and allowed me to leave the store feeling completely disillusioned and dejected. I contacted the corporate office, registered my complaint about the manager, and arranged for my top to be fed-ex'd to them for exchange! Here's my advise to anyone buying at the the 6th street location-do NOT take off the label. Even if you bought the top yesterday, even if you have the receipt, even if the top is defective, they will NOT take it back. At these prices, that is unbelievably bad customer service. Only buy people gift cards, not actual items, chances are they can not return/exhange them. Lulumenon online person please don't post "I'm sorry about your experience" corporate answer. Do something about your 6th St management problem, I plan to continue this discussion with corporate. I need to be able to recommend this store to my clients. read more

Was talking to a friend over lunch about my experience at this store and she said "OMG, that 6th Street store is horrible! The ladies that work there are so rude". Well that about says it. The two older ladies are the ones- rude, condescending, interrogating over a small return within 5 days of purchase, with tags and a receipt. (side note- came in fully dressed in Lulu) They rattled me so much I couldn't shake it and felt compelled to write this. The thing that really sealed the deal was when the lady kept asking for an explaination to why if I had tried the shorts on in the dressing room didn't I like the fit when I got home? Literally would not let it go when I answered several times. Worse than Pretty Woman- no joke...Go to the Domain or Hill Country but stear clear of this store. I don't buy lulu often because I typically don't wear athleisure when I'm out and about, and I kind of want to if I'm spending upwards of $90 on a pair of leggings. Anyways, I got Class Pass a couple months ago and have gone balls to the wall (for lack of better term) doing Barre, yoga, spinning, Fight Club, and rock climbing. With that being said, my 3 pairs of random Target leggings just weren't gonna cut it anymore. I walked in not intending to purchase anything, because Outdoor Voices is local and just up the road. However, I was in the area and kind of wanted to compare. First, I was super pleased by their current color palette. I wanted everything! I started pulling items left and right off their meaty sale rack. I have a pretty decent time with this because I'm a size 8/10 there, which isn't popular. I wish I could remember her name, but a lady came up and helped me get settled with a fitting room. Multiple others checked up on me throughout my visit, which was great. I tried on everything and narrowed it down to 2 tops and 2 leggings. The initial lady then walked me through exactly what would work for each of my workouts. She was super knowledgeable and genuinely wanted me to get what was best for my body and routine. She explained 4-way stretch, and snag proof styles to me... all things I didn't even know existed. I settled with a pair of black leggings that had pockets on the side and a super slimming waistband because I felt they would be the most versatile. I honestly would've gotten all 4 things if I didn't have a big trip coming up. Anyways, I will definitely be back for some more goodies, specifically at this location! read more

I was so excited to be going into this place after Monica Brant had did her Austin feature with them. I walked in, NO ONE said hi or anything. I browsed for 20 minutes hoping that someone would see I needed help, instead I asked for help to purchase a 98.00 dollar pair of running pants. I did need a size that wasnt out. The girl came back said they didnt have it and walked away. I planned on asking questions about the Running Bras but she quickly ran away. Could it be that I was not dressed up? Could be that I had just come from working out with sweat still in my hair and no makeup on? Or could it be that 2 women in the store were from New York and they thought helping them was more important that your down home Austinite who would have had repeat purchases or just even made a purchase had they helped me. I will never go back there and I will be sure to let everyone know dowtown that they can do to plenty of other Atheletic stores D-town and get better service. read more

As someone else stated before, the employees here chatted amongst themselves the whole time. Very loudly. Along with their obnoxiously loud music. For my first experience it was really irritating. I wanted to get in and get out but I had never been there so I had no idea what I was looking at. Once I approached one of the sales women she asked my name and explained some of the pant styles to me. I grabbed the ones I wanted and continued to peruse... Grabbed a few more things and handed them to the same chick but she already forgot my face and asked my name again (idk why but this is so annoying to me) and claimed it must've been another sales person that got me the room the first time. Ummmm no it was you. "Oh ya it was me! My bad!" Very sweet girl. Also very annoying. Found the pants I wanted and proceeded to check out and the clerk at the cash wrap asked me 21 questions all while talking to his coworkers throughout the store. Maybe that's why you couldn't get my email right bro. I work retail and when I ring people up I make sure the process is quick and easy. Not long and annoying. I'll be back, maybe this time I'll eat lunch before so I'm a lil more at ease. read more

Just wanted to share my recent experience at the Lululemon on 6th street in downtown Austin, TX. I had bought the InFlux jacket like a couple of months ago and had quickly became my favorite. I was super bummed when one day I put it on and noticed a hole in the hood/neck area.. and it's a reversible jacket so it can't really hide anywhere. And was not happy that I only had it a short while and it already had a hole. :( I've been a devoted lulu shopper for some time so of course I've read a ton of reviews online about products gone bad, but also how the company usually rectifies the situation and stands by the product. So I thought I would go into the store and see if they could fix it or if they could do anything about it. As soon as I walked in I was promptly greeted and asked how could help. I told them the situation and asked if it was possible to get it fixed. The girl said they couldn't fix that but they could definitely get me a new one and immediately asked what size I wore and was off to grab it! Problem solved! It was such a easy and effortless transaction. No heckling, no attitudes, nothing. And honestly with my experiences with customer service lately with other stores, this was refreshing and just solidified why I love Lulu as a brand and will continue to shop there! read more
