As others have mentioned, the USD to CAD "discount" is so totally worth a shopping trip at Lululemon. I have visited this Lululemon three times now and on my most recent visit, I finally purchased a new pair of yoga pants. I definitely wish they had Banff/Canada specific gear because I would have purchased more. Regardless, the employees are helpful and attentive. This review is mainly for a girl that ring me up today. She was the rudest person I have encountered in Banff! This is my first trip to Canada and was so excited! I was in this store yesterday as well and purchased a number of items, since I am from the states, the USD value gave me an instant discount. We all know Lululemon is pricey and a discount or in that sense makes people happy and actually stock up on items. So today, I went back to the store to buy more for myself and my daughter. The lady "educator" her educator number from my receipt was 99994000156924, (I did not get her name). I was so excited but after my interaction with her, I was so upset! She was prejudice, she looked at me from head to toe (I am asian) then when I requested her to add my healthcare discount, she looked at me in an irritated way and asked for my ID, she then asked me "Are all this for you?" WTF!!!! I felt like I was being interrogated! So I said yes for me and my daughter, she then gave me the total amount, I asked if she included my healthcare discount again, and guess what? SHE DID NOT!! She looked so irritated so she re did my total amount, now with the discount. She did not apologize or anything. I should have asked for her manager but I am on a holiday and didn't want to ruin my day! But she did! I didn't catch her name, she was on the heavy side, fair complexion, I can say she's white. My first time buying something from lululemon! I bought a pair of shorts. It was warmer than I expected in Banff and I'm so glad I came here! The staff was super helpful as I've never been Boujee enough to buy something from here back in the States lol. Definitely recommend! It's cheaper to buy here than in the US. read more

Although I did not see any Banff specific lululemon gear (which I would've bought) I enjoyed the discount as well as the shopping experience here. I came to Banff and went to Lululemon 3 times. I know. I'm just as embarrassed to say it as you are to read it but, gurrrl... that US to Canadian conversion rate. I had to take advantage of the international discount. So it took me several visits but I made some purchases, 2 items I'd seen at US stores and 2 items I hadn't seen but were cute and on sale. Staff were both plentiful and helpful. They had free public wifi, and were even open on a holiday (Easter). The only think I can ding them on is a problem that most Lululemons have across the board, which is they have a very, very limited in store selection in their smaller sizes. Always kind of bummed to only be able to get the most forgettable selection in a smaller size. read more

You know you're from Vancouver when you're in a different city, and you walk into a Lululemon store. You're probably thinking, "Why the hell would you go to Lululemon?! There are tons of Lululemons in Vancouver! Lululemon is the same everywhere!" I was thinking that too, but my experience at the Banff Lululemon was much different than any experience I've ever had at one in Vancouver. My friend was showing me around Banff and when I spotted Lululemon, I dragged him in. For two hours, apparently. (He timed it.) And then for only an hour the following day. Honestly, I'm not even a huge Lululemon fan, but I live in Vancouver and I exercise regularly, so of course I've accumulated a few bits and pieces from them over the years, and I was in need of more workout clothes. However, I just hadn't had the time to go shopping while in Vancouver, but being on vacation, I had the time. The Lululemon stores in Vancouver never have workout pants in my size and style in bright colors or fun patterns, so all I had were boring, black pants. So I was thrilled when I found pants in my size and style in the Banff store in colors that were not black (or a really ugly and boring shade of maroon or green), that fit! In addition, I saw the shirt in the exact color I wanted, in my size, on sale. Not only did I find pants that were not black (I ended up buying two pairs) and the shirt I wanted on sale, but the customer service was excellent. The staff actually helped me (instead of talking at me, going on about clothes that I have no interest in, or trying to convince me that their ugly sports bras will fit me and not make my boobs look like a giant football), and when I made a off hand comment about a pair of pants that I had purchased in Vancouver that had been hemmed incorrectly, the seamstress at the store told me to bring them in, and they will re-hem them or replace the pants for me. I just happened to have brought them to Banff as I was planning on working out at some point (which I did), so the next day I brought them in, and they replaced them as the Vancouver store had hemmed them way too short, as well as messed up the hem. (They offered to exchange them for one of the pairs of pants I had purchased, but I decided to just replace them with the same pair I brought in.) I've never gotten service like that in a Lululemon store in Vancouver, and the selection in Banff was much better. An excellent experience! read more

Busy store! But still very helpful workers. We we're able to get in and out and find what we need. There were times I could not find what I was looking for and multiple workers we're willing to help us in the men and women section. They had some good sales which made me return for a second look in case I missed something. The taxes in the Banff area are low so your really getting a good deal on your purchase. I am not really a fan of Lululemon, perhaps it is because I don't do yoga or I just basically think everything it here is overpriced. It just feels like a trendy for the moment exercise accessory and clothing store. This location in Banff is nice but I don't like the neo green or orange colors in their new line nor do I like the stretchy material that most of the exercise clothing has. There is one wall with cubbies that contains different coloured yoga mats but you can get good quality yoga matt at any Winners for half the price. I walked in simply because a friend wanted to check it out, in all fairness though if you are a Lululemon fan then you could check out this location with its nice wooden interior. read more

It's no secret that I am a fan of lulu clothing. Comfy, stretchy, long-lasting, fun coloured clothing - I love it! This particular location always seems to have something fun going on whenever I am in Banff. Couple Sundays ago they had a DJ playing super fun music, a guy doing yoga in the display window, and free samples of Davids Tea while you shop. Makes for a really fun atmosphere I have to say! I usually find the staff at this location are generally friendlier as well... I guess the mountains and a fun DJ will do that to you. Always a fun stop while strolling the strip in Banff! Now... trying not to spend money every time I go in, that's a challenge. read more

I am a fan of Lululemon. Why? Yes you pay more, but my 2 pants are still as new as 2-3 years of constant wearing them. You could not tell they were older than a month old. They never fall down my butt in the gym and stay on my waist at 44 years old. So, Today we hit this store in Banff, expecting higher than usual prices, given the city. Nope, they were the same as Ive seen in Edmonton and Vegas for that matter. They staff here were so super friendly and funny. They even have facebook page. So my wife looks super great now and she has bought other yoga pants and nope, no comparison. She looks hot!!! Thanks Banff. read more
