The service and selection in this store are less than desirable. No one greeted me when I entered the store. I spent a lot of money here today. The cashier didn't listen to a word I said while I was giving her my information. There was a very kind young lady in the back who got me a dressing room and sizes for leggings. I am very disappointed in how I am treated here!! I kind of feel like Julia Roberts in pretty woman... I got money to spend in your establishment but I expect to be treated a lot better!!! I'm really shocked at the terrible reviews for this place - I've never had a bad experience here and I've been MANY times. Like most people I do a lot of shopping online, so I've been to this location to do returns/exchanges and a small amount has been to shop in person. After the pandemic shutdown and places were allowed to open, this store regularly had lines out the door - I wouldn't wait in them and they seemed to be waiting for at least 30 minutes to get inside - but they seemed to have calmed down now, I haven't had to wait last 3 times I went in. They offer mens, and women's clothes at this location although the mens selection is a lot smaller than the women's unfortunately. They also provide hand sanitizer for when you walk in to stay clean. Staff has always been helpful and friendly and I haven't had a negative experience as of yet - I will definitely be back. read more

I normally love this lululemon, they are always stocked with everything and is super flexible. I came into this Lululemon with a pair of leggings to exchange for quality promise. I was not a fan of these leggings so i asked to exchange them for a pair that was more expensive but was willing to pay the difference of the leggings. I have done this at other stores and at this location before and have had absolutely no issues. The workers proceeded to tell me that exchanging the leggings was against store policy and under no circumstances would break the policy. They told me that every other store has broken store policy and to go back to that store "so they can break the policy again." I have talked to a manager at the somerset location before and have been told that it is within store policy and i would be able to exchange them with no problem. The employees were extremely disrespectful and as soon as i walked away they talked about negatively about the group i was in within earshot. I have worked in retail before so I understand that it is not ideal to walk in 30 minutes before closing, but customer service should never be thrown away especially when we are there to spend our money. They followed us out of the store and instantly locked the doors 5 minutes before closing. I normally love this store but today i am in complete utter shock and disappointment. This is the third time I have gone here and I am just not a fan of this location. The workers were rude (besides one fella at the register who was pleasant and upbeat) but they were not helpful when another customer asked for assistance, and they couldn't be bothered to help them. Luckily I knew what I was looking for and where to find it. I like the Somerset location much more. Walking in to Lululemon can be daunting if you aren't skinny so walking in and having rude people work there makes it SO MICH WORSE. read more

Typical lululemon store, except with unfavorable customer service. Have a different experience each time I'm in here. Workers are pushy and follow you around the store. They claim that if their product doesn't work for you they will take it back-but this is surely not the case. They are even stingy about doing product repairs, for example, on torn seams which is a quality issue. What can I say, Lulu lemon store in Rochester Hills =heaven!! They have yoga classes that you can attend to all kinds of activities, a bunch of new merchandise, as well as stuff on sale. It is great to see Lulu lemon coming in to Rochester Hills area since I have been shopping only in Birmingham or Troy. One has to know, store is expensive, so a pair of pants might cost you $100. Service is extremely friendly and they go out of their way to help you find the right fit and the right clothing attire. I love this store and their quality clothes. read more

Not a fan of this location- I much prefer the Somerset, Novi or Birmingham stores for better customer service. I purchased a $98 sweater a week ago, went to finally wear the sweater yesterday and immediately broke out in an itchy rash! I attempted to exchange the sweater for something else with the tags, bag and original receipt with the never actually worn sweater. I didn't even want any money back - I asked if I could just get a pair of pants instead. The associate refused saying that she couldn't help me because it's not a defect in the sweater. Wow, just wow. So someone who has probably spent $10,000 at your company has to throw a $100 sweater in the garbage now? I see a conversion to Gym Shark or Athleta in my future. read more

This location used to be my favorite for its proximity to my home and the excellent customer service I NORMALLY received in the past. I was recently given a pair of baby blue spring break away shorts that I have in every color and a fast and free tight. When I went to wear both, I realized they were COMPLETELY sheer and they weren't going to work for leisure wear or athletic wear. My bf and I went to this location today to do an exchange for equal value for other items we had already picked out. Everyone was super nice and helpful until we went to pay, I told the cashier what the issue was. She proceeds to tell me that she can't do an exchange (one which I didn't have a receipt for). She then tells me that in order to do an exchange for the pant, I will have to go over to the dressing room and try them on for a member to confirm they are damaged. I hesitantly do what she asks while another member has to confirm and asks me to step outside of the dressing room and bend over. I said I wasn't comfortable doing that outside the room with other customers, some men, in the area. She has me bend over in the dressing room to confirm that in fact, the pants are completely see through. Feeling humiliated, I then go back to the cashier where she tells me that she has decided to do me a solid and exchange the items. She then repeats herself multiple times letting me know that this is a one time thing and in the future it will not happen again. I thank her and she continues to ring me out. All the while being fake nice after she pretty much just made me feel harassed and humiliated. Prior to agreeing to do the exchange, she confirmed herself that they've had quality issues with both items but suggested I sell the items to someone else if I couldn't wear them. Why would I knowingly sell sheer items to someone else? I still purchased the items we had on the table because my bf took a million years to pick things he actually liked and looked good. He hates shopping so that was my treat and it was completely ruined by the lack of customer service. This was an unfortunate experience for me and I will probably not go back to this location, although I love the brand. I may be looking to make a switch considering that the company fails in their training of customer service. read more

The worst experience i've ever had a Lululemon. My mom is a healthcare worker that works directly with patients that are at the highest risk of contracting COVID-19. We were made aware that heath care workers get 25% off their purchase in store so we decided to come in. As soon as we walk in my mom asks if she will get 25% off her purchase and a young lady said yes. My mom bought clothes for my cousin and I so when we went to the checkout to buy the items, she said that the 25% off was only for clothing for my mom, not her kids. That rule was in no way told to us when my mom asked about the 25% off for heath care workers, on the Lululemon website, nor was it mentioned on a sign outside or inside the store. She said that it was against her integrity to give us the 25% off since she notice I (my moms daughter) was trying on the clothes. If i didn't come to the store, the worker would not have known it was for me in the first place. Ridiculous. Do not recommend coming here if you are looking for good customer service or for employees that are looking out for your best interest because you will not find it here. I've actually been here many times. This morning I went to take a free yoga class with my favorite yoga studio, Explore Yoga. I didn't buy anything today, however, I own a large amount of lulu product and it really is the best. The only thing that needs s little improving is I have a hard time concentrating on buying thugs because too many people are talking to me. I can't touch a piece of clothing without someone telling me something about it, I don't like that sat all and actually makes me NOT want to buy what I'm looking for. I'll let it go though since I love the product so much, I buy most online so I can avoid the physical stores though if I'm to be honest. read more

I come to this store quite often since it's the closest to my house and I like to avoid the mall. Unfortunately, I was not "allowed" to use the restroom. I asked nicely if I could. The unpleasant "associate" who was a male in which I did not catch his name, was very snarky about it and said it was due to corporate covid guidelines, and that I could call the GEC center to educate myself on their practices. I told him I had a medical condition which I didn't feel I needed to go into detail about (Interstitial cystitis). I wouldn't wish this on anyone. He did not care. The funny part is you can use the restroom next door at Starbucks, Whole Foods, CVS, etc. I shouldn't have to go to another establishment where I am NOT spending money to use their restroom when they have one there. They even lied to me and said the bathroom was for storage....lol, I suppose their own employee's don't need to use the restroom then? Extremely rude, not caring human being who should probably not be in customer service at all. Give the job up and go into a different field where customer service isn't a priority please. Go the extra drive to Birmingham where they have no problem helping people. :) read more

Honestly I've loved lulu forever. But I ordered something online and received the incorrect item. I had tried to return the incorrect item I received and the manager accused me of stealing the item. I was embarrassed and humiliated when I was simply trying to return something that the store had incorrectly sent me. Lululemon has been my favorite store for a very long time but I will never go back to this location. Extremely disappointed! read more
