The girls that worked there were sweet and friendly and put up with me and my girlfriends who were in town to shop. They had initial necklaces and rings that I wanted to purchase but I had already reached my limit on what I was going to buy that day. I would make this a regular stop if I lived close by to see what new items they have on their shelves. They also had a large sale section that I did not even go through because as mentioned above I'm pregnant but when this little man comes out I would love to see what they have in store.

The space is noticeably bigger than their previous one, which gives them more staging area and space to offer larger pieces of furniture, artwork, and clothing in addition to all the unique goodies they already carried within the store that are smaller scale. Everything here is extremely pricey, which is unfortunate for me given that there are many things I love from here, but I just simply can't justify spending exorbitant amounts of money on these sorts of homegoods and accessories too often. The products they carry are definitely geared towards the more affluent and those with lofty home design ideas, as they also have fabric samples and the like to help you design and customize your furniture and upholstery upon them in the back of the store too. The price tags make sense in the sense that I have not seen any of the products they offer in any other stores in the metro Detroit area, so there's nothing to compare their goods to. This is a great place to window shop or stop in to get inspiration for your home and to pick up a unique piece or two. I'm still thinking about the tatted up Albert Einstein piece of artwork (included in the photos!), which I love so much, but even just the print of it without it framed was already $70-80 and that's a hard price to justify even for hot Albert Einstein! I like how every time I stop in to Talulah Belle, there's always new discoveries to be had. They clearly refresh their stock frequently and it's always great to stop in here for inspiration and intentionally unique gifts for the loved ones in your life...including yourself!

To my dismay, the shoes were returned to me without the original box and dust bag! The shop owner insisted it's their policy to not keep boxes/ dust bags due to space and I would have been notified of this at the time of my selling. These items add value to resale items and I NEVER would've voluntarily let them be tossed in the garbage. Had I known this policy, I would've taken them home just in case the shoes didn't sell. On top of this, I found out the shoes were priced to sell at the shop for more than I had originally paid for them! Of course they wouldn't sell at a crazy inflated price! Everything in this store is overpriced for the used junk that it is.

I asked about the return policy as any informed costumer should. I was told another costumer walked in after me wanting the exact item I did. If I planned on returning the coat she'd prefer to sell it to the other lady. I completely respect an owner wanting to make a sale. When walk into this beautifully decorated and well-stocked store it doesn't look or feel like a typical resale shop. She has an eye for couture, current trends, vintage, and formal wear in sizes from extra small to XXL. No matter what your size, you'll find fashionable clothing. She also carries accessories (scarves, jewelry, purses, etc...) One of her mottos is "being broke ain't cute" and her clothing is priced right. If you catch a sale, don't sleep on it. I've gotten many designer dresses around $30-$35. Of course there are items below and above this price! She usually does a weekly FB "live" so that you can see some of her mostly one of a kind inventory. There are dressing rooms inside with adequate space and full-size mirrors. There is still a mask policy. So wear one or she had them for you at the door. There's paid parking on 9 mile and in the back lot.
