Great experience at the original lululemon store, and we have Sheri to thank for that during our most recent visit (6/26/25)! I usually don't need any help when I shop at lululemon, and have actually had customers, friends and clients (I'm a personal trainer) ask ME for advice or recommendations on all things lulu! I guess I do know a lot about all their products lol! I've been a loyal fan since the very first Hawaii lululemon store opened in 2008 or 2009 when I still lived in Honolulu. Anyway, my husband and I were back in Vancouver recently and were excited to do some shopping at both the Kitsilano and Robson St. stores (which we did!). I've shopped at this location many times, as I used to come to Vancouver every summer to run the SeaWheeze Half Marathon (LegaSea here!). Sheri helped me select some shorts and answer questions I had about a couple items I had saved in the app (unfortunately they didn't carry those items in-store). She took the time to chat with us about our visit to Vancouver and even about their ambassadors, which we just appreciated her being so personable. I like how bright and wide Lululemon entrance is in this location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband asked quite a lot of questions on two pairs of shorts and the staff very patiently answered him. Value is regular retail price Huge selection and wide range of colors. Will definitely come again when visiting just purely because of the super friendly staff. read more

The very first lululemon store just got even bigger and better! They expanded to the space next to them to have more clothes, fitting rooms, and space for activities. Probably the biggest lululemon there is. The old space is now the men's section and the new space is the women's section, upstairs is their events area where they can do yoga and other community events. They're eco-friendly too. Kitsilano is a cool neighborhood in and of itself. Since their re-opening in August 2017, they were selling limited edition Kitsilano tanks and shirts which sold out during SeaWheeze weekend. They have shelves upon shelves and racks upon racks of colorful lululemon gear. It's like being in heaven for me. A wide variety in one space. The other nice thing is if you are an athlete or a fitness instructor, you get a discount (at all lululemon stores). Employees are nice and they don't follow you around. read more

Two guy friends and I stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon. We had previously been at Kitsilano Beach and this store was within walking distance. It was pretty big and well set-up, with a men's section and a women's section, connected by a short walkway. While I didn't buy anything myself, my friends and I spent about an hour browsing and trying things on (one my friends did end up buying a few items). The staff in the women's section were polite and helpful, and there was no wait for the dressing rooms. The men's section was a bit less busy, and the employees on that side seemed very attentive and friendly. On both sides, the employees offered to look for additional sizes/colors in the back, since sometimes not all sizes were available on the floor. The store was clean and there was a water fountain with cups available. Overall, a nice place to do some shopping if you're in the area. read more

Did you know this was THE first lululemon location? Taken moment of silence please. This store was closed when I checked yelp before my trip, but found out that they recently renovated the whole store and they opened a few days before I visited. This location is huge. It's really bright and airy on the women's' side with mannequins in various yoga positions sporting the latest apparel. They have tons of styles and inventory at this location. Their men's side is way huger than most stores and it seems like an entirely different store. There is a store entrance on each side. There is a couch on the women's side to chill on. The people at Lululemon are SO nice and knowledgeable, you just want to stay there all day and hang out, trying on every style of pants and tops, and practicing your d.f.d. in the spacious changing area. While the prices aren't cheap, they definitely have something for every body type, and they are built to last. The cool thing about shopping at a store in the company's hometown, is that any feedback that you give them goes back directly to the designers, and it's the kind of company that definitely listens to it customers. My family, friends and I are one of LuLu's long-time customers; we love the products but, more importantly, their exceptional customer care and values; e.g. how they advocate for "humanity, diversity and empathy--without exception." My sister and I had a horrible experience earlier today at this location when we brought a piece of yoga pants that did not meet LuLu's promise of quality in our opinion; pictures are attached. In brief, we were treated with no respect and extremely poorly. For the first time, we were told that our thoughts as customers don't matter. For instance, the gentleman who spoke with me with bold and unfriendly body language and voice tone told me that it is his assessment, and that's what matters and not the customer's input or opinion, and that's what the management tells him to do; while I was talking with a calm tone expressing my concern and asking questions. I felt embarrassed in front of other people in the store for how I was treated as if I had done something terrible or had an unreasonable request. The experience was shocking. My question was regarding the product's poor quality despite that it was used with care. We are heartbroken. THE PRODUCT REPLACEMENT IS NOT OUR CONCERN BUT HOW WE WERE TREATED; the situation was poorly handled. Some wonderful associates are working there too, we always had great experiences, e.g. feeling valued and cared for but unfortunately, the two we encountered today did not care about us. I'm writing this because, although I have shopped at Lulu on 4th since they opened, and I like their gear and wear it, today I had an unpleasant experience. One of the clerks came up and asked, with an expressionless face and voice, but with a slight emphasis on "you": "What brings you here today?" It seems innocuous but felt rude. As though I had to explain my presence. I suddenly felt unwelcome. Was it my grey hair, my jeans? In any case I left the store. It may be a while before I return. read more

Into the store originale of the franchise with the fam; the customer service is just magnificent, and the men's section seems to be more extensive than those of other stores around. The fact that they have an athletic area is pretty neat, and I can see why other brands have tried so desperately to copy the business model of LLL (although, hopefully not the shear pants and commentary by senior leadership). Wife being a pilates instructor drives me to the store to buy sundry articles for gifts and occasions; it isn't cheap, but I've been told the quality of material is high, the service and return policies are top notch, and the happiness factor is out of this world. Alright, fine, I'm a convert. I can justify spending $100 on hoodies and pants that boast muffin top protection because I am one of those lucky people who works from home a lot of the time. This also means, I no longer need to spend my cash on those BCBG blazers, Banana Republic blouses and Club Monaco skirts - the ones I do have are all collecting dust. Plus I actually do wear their yoga gear for what it's intended for: yoga. Stick a fork in me, I'm lulu-ed... but I still stand behind my previous statements: Lululemon is active wear - it's not meant for clubbing, fine dining and certainly not for working in offices or retail. Ordered a Christmas gift online. Received email receipt. The item never arrived and when I checked online the order had been cancelled.

I have never had better customer service than today when I needed to return an item due to a faulty zipper. Katrina was quick to act and ensure me that Lululemon stands behind the quality of their product 100% and offered to switch out the item for something new of equal value. Thank you so much for providing rock star customer service. I left the store happy with a new jacket in hand, still in shock as well as grateful that I will be staying warm in my new jacket this winter. Any brand of tight black pant that makes my butt look great I am a fan of! I am an avid yoga devotee and I pretty much live in my Lululemon clothing when I work from home. They are so comfortable and I don't feel like a frump if I have to run out to do an errand. Great for travel too. I find that when I browse the store I am not overly inspired to buy. It sometimes feels like there is not too much that is new or exciting. I really only replace the items that I have bought years before that are starting to look shabby. Staff is usually spunky and upbeat and fit the role well. Lululemon is fabulous and I am glad they exist because I don't know what I would wear 85% of the time otherwise :) read more

I can't find a complaint about this place. I must admit I don't have a ton of Lulu experiences to compare to but both times that I've visited this location in the past month, I have been energetically greeted at the doors and offered to be shown around. Having done all of my research online beforehand, I was probably the easiest customer of the day. As I'm waiting in line to pay (second person in line), one of the employees literally ran over to the counter to make sure I wasn't waiting for long. Receipts are done by email to cut back on paper. Products are great, bought a couple pairs for the ABC pants - honestly stands for Anti-Ball-Crushing. I haven't owned them long enough to speak for their longevity but they are in the top 2 most comfortable types of pants I have ever worn (second only maybe to Roots sweats). Great location, busy and possibly a small wait for a waiting room, but passionate, knowledgeable staff. Thanks! read more

I think I have a small addiction to Lululemon. My pocketbook is hoping for an intervention. In general, I feel any business should strive to find ways to always better their customer service and good customer service is never just good enough. Truth is, if you're going to be charging oodles more for fitness clothing than your competition, your customers should be treated like queens (and kings). I've heard about terrible service here but I've never experienced it for myself. I've always been greeted and helped with everything from searching for the right size tights to having them hemmed. I've returned items and picked up items after having them hemmed and I've always been given prompt attention. Although the service has been good, it could always be better. I personally prefer the location on 4th because it's a short walk from home. It seems a little older than some of the other stores, but they always have new products on display. They have plenty of changing rooms and my daughter enjoys the little cups of water as I shop;) read more

Everytime i am in kits area. I always try to pop in the store. But i stop doing so. I rather going to other stores in Vancouver. One star for the store decoration. Other star for the convenient location/ events in the store. They even have yogies mediation jn the store as part of the theme/lululemon culture desplay. I should read the reviews of this store before going there. I regular lulu store before is in downtown Seattle. I also visited the ones on the east coast in phill. This location services treated me is no happy. Girls there seems not very helpful. But definitely more welcoming with other ladies who is older and already grab a pile of clothing ready to purchase. Nevertheless no matter how bad the service, i enjoy the quality of the lululemon. I hope people work in the admin level at lululemon even ever have time to read all the reviews. Bring the quality of customer service up. Let people love the products just as much as the services. As a Pharmacy staff, I was eligible for a discount as a first responder. They were not sure if Pharmacy Staff (Hospital Pharmacy) is a first responder. Then they asked me if items were for my daughter, And if yes, I can not use discount to buy for my daughter. And she would flag my account, if I say I am buying for myself. When I was lining up the other girl told me that I can use discount, even she knew that I am buying for my daughter. If I am buying my size, is that a big deal to give me 10$ discount, while I am spending another 120$ for my t shirts. If they gave me discount I would spend 150$. When it was obvious that she will give me 25%off only for my t shirts, I would not line up if it was only for that, and if I can not get the same discount for my daughter. They should mention it as they advertise it, personal use only, even if buying the same size for your minor. Good luck with your business. Too bad I liked products but I would not go back to W4th Ave. I had it all, and I can decide to never buy a thing from Lulu anymore. Aritzia, Soft Mock, Nike, Levi's everyone gives you discount for your kids as well. No issues or no big deal in this stores. I thanked girls for checking if I am first responder, they were checking for more then 10 minutes. I told them that I would not need it, 'cause I lost interest in buying. I told them that I was a first responder, because I worked when it was the most dangerous, and when they were staying at home safely. If I wanted that discount that would probably take another 10 minutes for them to check. That is humiliating. Not really worthy. If you give a discount give it, if you don't do not advertise it. I have no problem buying when I like something, but don't think your every year the same stuff is something special. I think it is poor management. I have to admit I don't go to Lululemon often because their workout wear are bloody expensive. When I go my workout class, I notice almost everyone wears Lululemon stuff, is it an uniform? Recently I got two tank tops and a pair of shorts from them and it wasn't even on sale. They did look good on me and rarely available in my size, so I splurged. The clothing is great, but the service is consistently terrrrrrrible. Went in with my kid to get a pair of pants. I ask if they have any of the specific kind of pant in the back as the sizes are limited on the floor. Girl comes up and says, no. But then she says maybe in the back and walks away. Huh? So as she's walking away I ask if she can check and she smiles and says sure and walks away. She comes back about 10 minutes later and chats with a few people on the way and finally says no, but other stores might have them. So I have to ask if she could call to see if they do and I'd go pick them up (why she didn't offer I have no idea). So she says yes she can but they don't always answer, but can I have your number and I'll leave it if they do. So I give her my number and she leaves...and never comes back. I have no idea if she called, she doesn't come back to find me, actually no one does. But the guy at the door smiles and says thanks for coming in as I leave 15 minutes later? WTF? Seriously every time we go into these stores we're appalled at the terrible service. The clothing is always great (albeit expensive), but honestly it's likely just better to order on line. read more

Product: Awesome. Prices: Expensive. Service: They can do WAY better. I was recently shopping at the Kits store and the size I needed was not available. I was perplexed why staff at the store were not willing to contact another store to check on availability. Reason provided: "we want to honour the guests who are currently shopping in the store". Translation: call yourself. So I attempt making a call myself and no one at the Robson store picks up the phone -- this is midday on a weekday, so I'm a bit surprised. I tried calling again, but nada. I make the trip down to Robson since I really needed the item. There was certainly no shortage of staff to take a call -- I was repeatedly greeted by at least a half dozen of floor staff who weren't with any customers. Luckily, I found my size, otherwise it would have been an incredible waste of my time. Whether I'm shopping at Store A or B or C or online, I am customer willing to drop hundreds of dollars on your product. Is it too much to ask for staff to help with a two minute stock check that could potentially save a customer a lot of inconvenience?? read more

I love this product. The stuff is awesome, and priced for the quality, but not OVER priced like pure fashion. The new Kits store remodel is great and well laid out and I love the fact there is a men's store. BIG problem!! TOO many women in the store just window shopping or browsing or confused and thinking that's it's the women's side of the store. I went to exchange my leggings, because they had a hole in them. Unfortunately, the model I had no longer existed anywhere in the world, so my only two options were to either get the sewn or get another model of equal value and so I did. The employees were very patient and polite with me throughout my "journey" to find new leggings and were always giving me helpful advice and options. I ended up choosing new leggings. This has been one of the best customer service I have ever had. I would give more than five stars if it were possible. read more

Went to the Lululemon 4th avenue store to pick up an order that my sister made by phone - absolutely terrible service. Was told by a sales clerk, with heaps of attitude, that they never take orders, that they wouldn't have the order in the store (before even checking for it), that I must be wrong, etc... I told the clerk that the order was made the previous day and was waiting for pick-up... she rolled her eyes, looked in a back room and couldn't find it, and insisted that I must be wrong. Completely unfriendly and unhelpful. A second clerk found the item shortly after, and the first clerk huffed off without a word. Really not pleasant to be treated like you have no idea what you are talking about - totally unfriendly and arrogant staff. read more

This is definitely the phoniest shop out there and it doesn't apply to this specific location. I walked by one in Metrotown and saw a staff member dancing like she was in a club (no joke) to music playing (the store had a DJ). Wow, how classy and professional! She had an annoying as crap smile on her face and shouted very loudly "Hi!!" to me as I was walking by (50 feet away from the entrance of the store). Phony staff, phony atmosphere, phony everything. Why spend 100 bucks on stretchy athletic pants when you can buy the same quality ones for 25 elsewhere? Also, who wears athletic clothing when they are not exercising? Do you have any sense of a thing called STYLE or is it just another one of your "fat" days. read more

By far most helpful and friendly employees in all of the Lululemon's I've been to. A pair of leggings I had bought recently were pilling even though I had washed them according to the instructions and without a fuss they gave me a brand new pair! I was phoning this location all day on a saturday or sunday. No one would answer the phone. When I got there, it was pretty packed. I asked a staff why they dont pick up their phone. (They had several staff on that day). The staff told me that they turn their phones off to turn their attention to the customers on the floor. She told me that they were given first priority to be served. She said it was their store policy to do this. I told her that all customers should be assumed a valuable customer and should be treated fairly and not with special priority. I told the manager of the store afterward those policies are discriminating and turning their business phone off is a worksafe violation as well. (Not having a phone that can call back). I think its terrible practice to tell customers of such a policy. Its bad business. They had lots of staff on that day as well. Their other locations dont seem to have a problem being able to answer their phones so why is this location able to do so. read more
