It is always nice to sit outside on the patio or in the beautiful gardens in the back area. The owner's mother decorates the patio area and gardens area so beautifully with flowers. All of the servers are so kind here but our absolute favorite server is Liam. He is so kind and is very attentive, always offers suggestions and goes above and beyond to make your dinner phoenomenal. I was absolutely blown away at HOW GOOD THE CUTLETS were. I'm a little picky about meat but these cutlets were the best I've ever had. They tasted incredible and were cooked perfectly. And they had a nice breaded crunch. Literally the best cutlets I've ever had The pasta itself was very good too. Big fat homemade rigatonis. Sauce was perfectly creamy and flavorful. But the added spice was a bit much for me. I was fine but I think I would've preferred it plain. My husband felt the opposite and highly the spice was mild so I don't know. We like spicy food we can handle relatively good spicy food but who knows ! It was still really good Our friend liked his branzino a lot. They provided extra touches that meant a lot, displayed the food beautifully, and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I can't say enough about how helpful they were. Angelica took all the worry out of planning and came through on everything I asked for. The chef worked around my request for vegan and vegetarian entrees. She wanted a Cajun/Jamaican style menu but caterers specializing in that cuisine were few and far between. I called Mizuna and spoke to Angelica. I was back and forth a thousand times with requests and changes in such a short period of time. She never got irritated or upset and always got back to me promptly. At the end of the day we asked if they could use specific Cajun and Jamaican recipes from my own personal files. Without hesitation they agreed to do so, and while we were all holding our breath the food tasted DELICIOUS and was SPOT ON with the flavors. My friend was so happy with the outcome and almost 80 people ate it all and raved about how good it was. The presentation of the food was so beautiful. I can't believe I didn't take a photo of it. Now, let me tell you about their staff. They are BOMB! Mizuna's waitstaff, bartenders, etc. were simply awesome. Respectful, helpful, patient, and seemed so happy to be employed by them. I was told to come back at 4:15p. I arrived at 4:13p to hear the owner cussing me out to his assistant because I hadn't returned. By name, in front of other customers. I pointed out I was in fact early and then he fished my ticket out of the trash to see what I had ordered. (I actually thought he'd pitched my order but he hadn't.) Owner was extremely rude, still yelling that I was late when I wasn't, and ultimately didn't even give me what I ordered. I specifically ordered ala carte items (brat + 2 full sides) for multiple people but he decided to make me one platter with two sides. The sides on the platter were smaller than ala carte, hence why I'd ordered them separately in the first place. I would have waited for a new order but the scene was chaotic ... and they had already given the orders for two customers waiting by the food truck to other customers who just took them and went inside the venue with their bonus food. The owner blamed the customers from whom the orders had been stolen for not yelling back at him when he supposedly called their names. It was really hard to understand what he was screaming due to both strong accent and pitch. That poor unfortunate woman who works with him ... forced to tolerate his chaotic, unnecessary rudeness. Food was bland and in small portions. A brat, half a cup of potatoes, and a quarter of a pickle for $13.78. We should have ordered delivery from one of the restaurants (permitted by the venue).

The summer passed and another semester has started and there are two constants on campus: parking is a crisis and The Lunch Box is still awesome. Try anything. Just get there. I usually opt for the Chicken BLT salad with ranch dressing. It's about $7ish, I think, though I'm not sure. Everything is FRESH. The service is friendly -- the couple that own and run the truck have a routine in place that enables them to keep up with the demand of hungry students pressed for time. They have a variety of options including burgers and wraps, etc. They take cash, cards and RamBucks, too. This is another place that is worth trying.
