I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ajlouni one Saturday morning during a long 3-day weekend. I walked into her office because I had lost a filling on my front tooth. Although her office wasn't officially open, she was there. Dr. Ajlouni was incredibly kind and explained that she couldn't assist me that day, advising me to return on Tuesday. I have had many doctors in the past few decades for my dental care. While they did a good job with routine cleaning and cavities, none of them fixed the more serious issues that I had with my teeth. My whole large family has been taken care by Dr Luma for over two years now. So I know her work enough to give feedback. Compared to the previous doctors that I had, I could tell that Dr Luma has way more modern medical equipment. Dr Luma fixed all the issues that I had including the more serious ones. Dr Luma is very very gentle and meticulous, and I would say she's a perfectionist. Conscientious doctors are not easy to find. Dr Luma is one of them. read more

Recently moved to Gilroy, and needed a dentist. My old dental plan was not "PPO" , and the dentists available did not have very good ratings. Dr Luma Ajlouni had wonderful ratings, so I visited her office and was very impressed. After a great deal of effort, I was able to change my dental plan to PPO, but at a higher rate. I took a deep breath and made the plunge. Probably the best dentist decision I have ever made. I have visited three times now for cleaning, fillings,and referral for root canal issues. Had problem with tightness on implant crown done by Doctor Ajlouni. She tried 3 different types of floss and said it was fixed. Her office then billed for office visit, and when asked why billed for follow up no response after 4 queries. While nice people, would not recommend any dentist that does not warrant their work or respond to their patients. read more

Dr. Ajlouni performed a cleaning and a few fillings. Her work is excellent and she's a great dentist. My dissatisfaction is with two issues; their office is very slow and it takes forever for them to perform the work doing ordinary tasks like X-rays. They're painfully slow and it doesn't take so long at other offices I've been to. Secondly, the front desk lady constantly changes the prescheduled appointments and she's called me as a reminder and told me a different time than we had scheduled previously. They should stop switching the schedule and be reliable in this regard. Also, there's always been something wrong in their office such as the heater not working and the internet not working so they can't finalize billing and payments at the time of the appointment. There's always some sort of problem and that's indicative of their operation. read more

I recently had a four hour dental appointment. I had two crowns and a filling completed in one appointment.I prefer to use novocain without epinephrine. For a 4 hr appointment that meant many injections to ensure I was numb. Her professionalism along with her kindness assured me throughout the appointment. Dr. Ajlouni has been taking care of my teeth for a couple of years now and I am confident with her work.
