Also, read the flyer carefully before paying. They never asked the ages of my kids, and I didn't realize until afterward that my son is under 2 and shouldn't have been charged the same rate. Given the price, that was frustrating. Overall, there are so many indoor play areas popping up around the Treasure Valley, and unfortunately, this one just didn't make the cut for us. $30 for one hour for two kids is very pricey, especially when places like Leap Years offer more for less. And the excavator ride? Honestly, I thought it was ridiculous that it's an additional $5 per ride. It feels like an easy way to get parents to spend even more on top of an already expensive admission. I really wanted to love this place, but for our family, it just wasn't worth the price.

And overall this has been an amazing experience and they watch your children as if they are your own! My daughter will snuggle up with them because she is comfortable and well taken care of. I use the flex day care because we don't need full time day care, only when my husband and I had to work at the same time! We had a bad experience at a local Montessori. It was just a year ago that we pulled him out of his old school. His confidence was low, he would physically flinch when other children simply approached him, and he hated school. Fast forward to now, after one year at the Barnyard. His confidence has soared, he has a great group of friends, he's developed a love for math, his speech delay is non-existent, and we've seen him come out of his shell. The teachers and staff at the Barnyard genuinely care and they want to see the children thriving, just as much as the parents do.
