My husband and I went to the couple ropes course for a date night. First off, it is a smoking deal. We only had to pay $50 which included the ropes course AND dinner. There are gluten free options for dinner but not many. I had the Fiesta Salad which was good and much appreciated after the workout from the ropes course. Husband had the buffalo chicken flatbread. He said it was good though he wish he could add more spice. All this being said, you don't go for the food. You go because it is an awesome adventure to do with your sweetheart. Sooo much better than your typical dinner and drinks. What really made the night special was how amazing our instructor was. He was patient, funny and encouraging. Wish I could remember his name...what can I say I am old. Saw the kickboxing class while we were waiting and it looked awesome as well.

Fun place to go on a date with a newbie or your kids or friend group!…read more Everyone smiles and has a good time! You can do just one activity or bundle them up and do the paint room, smash/rage room, BB gun shooting (at bottle lined up) and axe throwing! They have a cute little photo prop area to take fun photos too! They sell soft drinks but also let you bring in your own beers and keep in their cooler while you play responsibly. You'll need to sign waivers, be wearing close toed shoes and my personal suggestion, if you do the smash room - wear long pants too because glass can fly all over! They provide safety equipment to protect your eyes and hands but take personal precaution of your ankles and don't wear leggings that expose your ankles/skin! It's a small building across from El Kamaron Mex restaurant in Payette. We had dinner there and hopped over to Hammer time to end our night. If you're waiting for an experience to open up, there are picnic style tables available for seating with board games to use or you can bring your own. You won't wait long so don't take monopoly - think more like a fast game of Connect Four(they have connect four, Kenya and some light memory game that I can never remember the name of)! The staff are super helpful and friendly! They'll work with you to determine what you might want to experience and bundle and what they have time for based on other reservations! You can book online or just call them and ask! I called on our way because we had two kids, 10 and 8 with us that really wanted to do the smash room but the reservations site said there was only one opening at 9pm, so when I called they said to come at 7:30 and we started with axes for 30min and then they got us in for the break- it room where my little got to hit glassware with a bat and release their "rage". They had so much fun!

This place is a hoot. We did a smash room and axe throwing session with a family of 5…read more Smash room: it's basically a large empty room with 3 stumps and large items set up around those stumps. The rest of the items are housed on a little counter top in milk crates for you to set up yourself. This was awesome for our whole group. I did wish there were a few more items to put things on other than the logs. Or maybe even more logs at different heights. Also, by no fault of theirs, it's best if you wear clothing and shoes that don't expose any skin or have a chance of glass falling in, you are provided leather gloves and a face shield only. We made our outfits work but could have made better choices. Our favorite medium item was definitely the printer!! Layers and layers of things to break on a printer. Might even be worth an extra add on item to your package to get more to smash. Axe throwing: this is a cool area with 4 stacked rooms side by side and a table seating area that's open to everyone. So if you had a giant group, you could totally fill the area up. There are knives and axes to throw and the throwing area is lit by black light. Overall experience: all 5 of us enjoyed it. We laughed, felt like we were breaking all of life's rules, and had a great time. Bring a Bluetooth speaker if you want to high ten the experience!

I was hesitant based on a couple reviews and the location but it turns out this is one of our favorites and we've done all but one room here. One of the best parts is that the rooms are bright enough to see! Sounds trivial but I can't see well in the dark and trying to look for clues or put codes in tiny locks without much light is quite difficult. Plus, I believe this allows for more families especially if they have children who don't like the dark. The puzzles are fun and interactive. The rooms have some great detail and it really elevates the experience. Something different here is that the puzzles are not always linear which works well when you have a decent age gap between players. They are difficult enough to be challenging but not impossible. I love that with the clues from the staff you can basically choose the level of difficulty. When my husband goes he likes to set a 3 clue limit and would like to not have to ask for any clues. My youngest waits until he feels stuck, goes to a different puzzle, then comes back and if he's still stuck he will ask. My middle son will ask right away so he can get on to the next puzzle! So it's really up to you on how you want the experience to go which allows you to accommodate all ages. I really enjoyed the bank heist because of the thought that went into the puzzles. My son's favorite was the theater because of how unique the clues were and how they created actions to get to the next puzzle, he basically liked all the moving parts. The absolute best part of this place is the staff!! Eva, Jack, and Camden were phenomenal! They were so helpful and really want everyone to enjoy the experience from start to finish! The give clues based on your skill level and help in any way possible. Best pace to park is Macy's and it's on the right as soon as you exit Macy's by the escalators. They have some games in the waiting area if you need to kill some time which is fantastic. In response to the comments about things being broken.... We've done four of the five rooms here and only once did something not work. An item was supposed to open and reveal a key, it clicked like the mechanism was working but it didn't open. A staff member came in and got us to the next step without hesitation so it didn't waste any time. There are a lot of moving parts in any escape room and sometimes things can malfunction. I don't think that's a negative reflection on the staff at all and they work to make sure those things get fixed or provide a temporary solution. We've had malfunctions with other escape room companies as well but instead of letting it ruin the experience, we understand that it is a possibility and the staff cannot avoid random issues that pop up, especially when some people are overly aggressive with things. It's the reason they have to say that you only need a finger worth of pressure or they tell you not to climb on things or force things open. It happens, the rooms are still so much fun!

Tonight we did the demolition room and had a very enjoyable time. Our host was very friendly and explained the rules smoothly. I like the variety that this business offers with having more than 4 different room (I say more than 4 because they just added a new concept that counts for half a room). Now for the review of the demolition room itself. Immersion: 3.5/5 The immersion on this game was the only thing at this company that I can say could use improvement. I didn't feel like I was in another space like some escape rooms make you feel. For example, both the entrance door and exit doors were just regular doors; they didn't look like or have anything to do with the theme. Puzzles: 5/5 This is where the room really thrives. The puzzles were very unique, challenging and fit the theme well. There wasn't one puzzle in this room that I had seen anywhere else. I also liked the fact that they took a simple maze puzzle and made it huge, difficult and fun. I liked the system they used for clues. Some companies nudge you on clues too much and the way they did it here was perfect. Overall I was impressed with the friendliness of our host, the puzzles and the variety of games they provided.
