We came here with high hopes as the reviews looked good. When we arrived, we were pretty disappointed. This place is very run down and dirty. There were several toys that were broken, worn, or missing. Pieces of trash and small toy parts were on the floor. My toddler picked up a small piece of plastic off the floor and thankfully handed it to me instead of putting it in his mouth. Parents were not required to remove shoes in a lot of the play area, so kids were crawling and playing on a dirty floor. Several of the toys in the toddler section were visibly dirty. Overall, was bummed. They need to replace a lot of the toys and have staff walk the floor more often to check for small pieces of trash and broken toys. Staff was nice. We won't be back. read more

I am beyond impressed with the daycare! My 2 year old daughter has been at home and never at a daycare and she loves this place! They use Brightweel where they tell you if they changed her diaper, they send you pictures, she naps comfortably, and they give your child plenty of snacks throughout the day along with breakfast (I drop her off early in the morning) and lunch! They go outside sometimes to play with chalk, plenty of toys to play with, they play out in the big main area, color, etc....and she is well taken care of. They ask about routines. And overall this has been an amazing experience and they watch your children as if they are your own! My daughter will snuggle up with them because she is comfortable and well taken care of. I use the flex day care because we don't need full time day care, only when my husband and I had to work at the same time! As a worried working mommy I am so blessed, grateful, and relieved I found this place! They are the best!! read more

My two year old LOVES Jabbers! We initially discovered this place during the early winter days when everything outside was wet and we wanted to stay warm and indoors. Such a fun place for "little" kids and very reasonable prices! For our two year old, it was only $7.99 and parents got in for free! Every play area is typically organized and staff normally give you a run down of the "rules." They also have a cafe area where you can buy coffee, lunch, or a variety of snacks. The have a pretty typical kids menu and a fairly nice adult menu as well. Lots of comfortable adult seating is provided and many parents bring their laptops to work remotely while their children play. I do have to note that weekends are completely different from weekdays. Weekends are extremely busy and many parents & children either forget or neglect the rules. Keep in mind that a fair amount of parents do not keep an eye on their rowdy or misbehaving kids which can be a bit awkward when another toddler takes toys away from your own child. Bathrooms appear clean but have this constant smell of urine. Most of the reasons for this note is because of the people from the public that come here, things that are out of the control of the facility and staff. The staff are very friendly and apologetic of any situation. Overall, a great and fun place for kids, with plenty of things to do! So came in on a weekday afternoon. It was a ghost town. Only one staff member was there who just hung out front. Overall cool how many activities are there for the kids. Some of the larger toys (such as cars and stacking giants Lego's) were broken. One of the cars completely missing a steering wheel!! Overall cool concept. Star was lost due to lack of toddler friendly healthy snack and drink options. Super sugary drinks and baked goods. They did have juice boxes, so I'll give them that. Their French fries were over salted to the point of being inedible. Coffee was okay. Overall my kiddos had fun, even with lack of other kids to play with, and they got out energy on a rainy day without screens. So win. read more

This place has great potential, but they will need more staff to reach it. We were never greeted at the counter and after several minutes we finally opened the half door and walked in. The only staff we saw from 12:30 -3pm was the cook and the cafe counter person. There needs to be staff circulating around the premises. It has great games, toys and play structures, but there has to be some staff supervision to maintain some order and safety for the kids and help with some of the chaos that unattended kids of various ages and sizes bring. The sofas are a great place for parents to plant themselves and relax, but parents cannot or will not be able to supervise their children when sitting at such a long distance from the play areas. It would also be helpful if staff circulating could reload some of the toys such as the barbies or dolls for the doll house. There were only 1-2 barbies and we waiting an hour to play with one. A possible parental safety concern is the location of the bathrooms. It is located through the back door and is apparently shared by the general public and mall. The bathroom lobby connects to glass doors that lead to the backside parking lot. Any child could be easily overlooked or be taken out that back door as there is no staff watching that area as well. Really liked this place but there needs to be some significant improvements to be a great place for kids and families. read more

Jabbers is a great play center for our little one. She loves the freedom to run around and play at the different locations, while giving us partial peace of mind that she is contained. There is a back door that makes us nervous, but overall this hasn't been an issue. I believe there has been a recent ownership change and many upgrades are being seen in the cafe area. With this also shows a price increase in food costs. Overall the okay center is very appreciated by our family and we'll keep using it. read more

What a great place this is! As we moved here somewhat recently (sorry to all the born and raised Idahoans!) I was on the hunt for something just like this. We have young kids and it's nice to have a secure area they can safely play. When I first came across this, I figured I'd have to drive a bit of ways towards the city - but was pleasantly surprised to see it was fairly local! My two year old had an absolute blast here. He could've stayed the entire day if I let him - and Jabbers would've! Their day pass allows you to leave and re-enter which is awesome. Kids need a nap? Come back! Need to grab lunch? Come back! They have a full cafe and a bunch of snacks and kids meals, great prices, and I enjoyed their coffee a lot. There are a ton of different areas to explore, and they have a zone for 3 and under which is great... though my kids forsure didn't stay in there! This is a great spot to come if you need to get some light work done while your kids are close by playing in a safe setting, or somewhere to burn energy when it's cold out. We'll definitely be returning and likely will be going for the monthly/annual pass soon! read more

My kids (1 and 3) love it here. I usually get a friendly welcome at the door and I have noticed that they have been cleaning this place like crazy! We used to get what we called the "jabbers plague" every time we went there, but the past few months my kids haven't gotten it I have noticed they have people sanitizing throughout the day and that is AWESOME! Pricing is a little steep especially if you have more than one kid, but if you're not going there every day (or have the membership) it can be worth it to get out of the house for a few hours and let your kids go crazy. There's a wonderful area for babies and younger kids to play in that has tons of awesome toys for the little ones. So many great things for kids of all ages to do. They have a nice little cafe that has food, snacks, drinks, and even specialty coffee drinks. My little one has a blast exploring this fun environment!! We love jabbers. When one of my girls was three years old and the other was a newborn, I would go in to Jabbers so my toddler could burn up energy while I nursed her baby sister on their comfy couches and relaxed with other mom friends. Now that my girls are in elementary school, they still love going to Jabbers whenever we can find time to do so. My youngest turned six and decided she wanted to have her birthday there last month and everything was perfect. Jabbers does an amazing job hosting birthday parties at an extremely reasonable price. This place is pretty great for the price. I think they just upped the price a bit but it's still more than reasonable. The offer food and drink including a full coffee bar, decent pricing here too. The do discourage all outside food and drink, so now ya know. The play equipment is kept clean and in good condition. Aside from the large soft padded jungle gym they also offer a smaller enclosed area for smaller children as well as a "shopping area complete with cash registers and shopping carts. There is also a tiny track for kids to run around in cars Flintstone style as well as a bunch of toy activity tables with Dinosaurs, magnet blocks, puppets with a stage and cars. All in all it's a inexpensive activity for the kids when it's too hot, too cold or too rainy for outside play. I would add that the "in/out" security could be better. There really is nothing in place (so far as I can see) that monitors which parent is leaving with which child. They also (in my opinion) could use more supervision on the floor, around the play areas. So for now it's a 3*, I'll update to a higher rating at a later date if/when some of the safety changes occur. read more

This is a nice place to take you get children when the weather isn't ideal outside. (Windy, too cold, too hot). I took my 11 month old and 2.5 year old and they both loved it. Under 1 is free and older is around $8. They have a 3 and under gated area with a "no shoe" rule. Masking is up to you & your family, there is a mix. There are definitely some kids who are not being watched by adults, so definitely carefully monitor your kiddos- especially if they are on the younger side and may get run over by over zealous older kids. No outside food except baby food and water, but they have reasonably priced coffee snacks, and some hot food. I'd recommend checking it out but not quite 5 stars because they could have more updated toys. read more

My family and I have visited this place several times over the few months we've lived here. We celebrated our son's birthday and had a great experience. The last few times we've gone, we've noticed that parents don't follow the supervision rule which is a huge safety factor. Kids are running all over the place and parents are not aware of how their kids are behaving. The last visit there was a kid that was way too old in the toddler area throwing punches at other kids. My husband alerted the staff and they shared - "That's the owners kid and they aren't here."The OWNERS KID and he wasn't big supervised. The kid was punching other kids and no one seemed to care. Holy Cow! This place is awesome. A fun and educational paradise for the toddler crowd to early elementary school crowd. 5,000 sqare feet of play area designed for parents and kids in mind. When you walk in there is a place for shoes (socks are required) and a check in area. To get into the play area you have to pay, sign a waiver, and check your child in. The price is cheap, about 5.50 for the day and they are open from 10 to 7 most days. Technically, you could let your kid be here all day and just pay that. Super cheap in the scheme of things. The play area is huge and varied. Up front there is a café which serves mostly healthy options that actually taste good. They mainly have salads and sandwiches, but they are fresh made. The salads are pretty decent and the sandwiches are fresh and tasty. For drinks they do have soda offered (canned) but there are juice, milk, fruit, cheese, yogurt, and water options as well. There is a large sitting area including multiple leather couches for lounging while the kids play. For a play area, they have a large play area, sort of like what you would see in a McDonalds or whatnot, but bigger and more interactive. here is a robe swing encloded by netting and canvas and a place for them to run and climb. For the babies there is a special area which has it's own white picket fence around it and baby items. It keeps the really little ones away from the more active kids that might run them over. There is a grocery area where kids can play shop for fruits and vegetables which has 2 cash registers, a scale for produce and mini shopping carts. There is also a whole room for coloring and crafts, a race car track with playschool cars and little bikes, a make believe dinosaur table, a train table, and a puppet show area. There is also a kitchen and house area that could easily fit 15 kids. They offer a variety of pricing plans including a low cost per day rate or a monthly rate of only 25.00 per kid. We homeschool and are seriously considering it as an option to add to our schooling budget simply because there is so much to do which is educational. One could feesibly use the facility for crafts, imagination time. It is designed for many kids to be playing at once, so all of the areas are large but the layout is ingenious that it is open and kids can easily be found / kept track of. I couldn't believe that this place had not been reviewed... it's really a treasure for the Treasure Valley. read more

I will start by saying my son (3) loves this place. I wanted to like this place but I can't. The staff is nice & welcoming. That's the only good thing. The parents of the children are my issue. A lot of the parents let their kids bully/ not share. Which makes it for a not so fun time for me. My child almost got chocked by another child there. I am always on my toes the 2 times I have taken my son. So, yes it's a good place with good staff. I just would say to stay super close to your kids because some of their parents don't care. Khrsyta did her 3rd birthday here and boy she had a blast! Entrance is per person & they get to play till they get tired. 2 & under is free. I specifically like their pretend house & market, those shopping carts as well. Those cozy coupes are fun too & the netted gym kinda. The way to support their business is by not bring your own food & buy here instead, so if you wanna come here just to play then come after lunch but if you wanna come early where there's not a lot of kids yet then come early & support them by buying lunch here. I like their pita with curry dressing one. Also you can buy your coffee here too. This is my first visit here. The kids had a great time playing with the toys and equipment that is here. And it is nice that they could play as long as they wanted to without getting sunburned or having to put up with the heat. For what they have it seems a little pricey. For only a couple dollars more you can get a Jr. Fun Pack at Wahooz (only 7.4 miles away). The staff was not tending the counter very well. I had the waiver mostly filled before someone was there to introduce their business and take my money. Also when I went to get a snack from the café the two girls had to finish their conversation before one of them came over to the counter. Then there is the restrooms. Picture a restroom that is used by 100+ kids and appears to be cleaned only at night. It was really, really bad. I've been to Podunk gas stations with cleaner restrooms. Play area is nice. I'd give it 4 stars. Service is poor. I'd give it 1.5 stars. Restroom is bad. I'd give it 0 stars. Café has a good selection. Well we went there again recently and I was expecting the same price I always pay which was $8 for my toddler then nothing for my infant and now the toddler fee is $10 which I can still kind of get behind because prices went up everywhere but then for my infant it was $5. For someone who doesn't walk and can barely play with everything there while I carry him around. I payed to carry him in essentially. The food was always pretty pricey but I don't understand why we can't bring our own food when we need to spend $15 just to get in. Mostly everything is broken and run down, they updated their front window to let everyone know "no outside food or drink" but with half to most toys being broken and gone, I would figure that would be fixed first before you start charging people much more then just $8. I just can't get behind going there again, it was nice in the beginning but I wouldn't recommend it anymore. read more

There are magnetic tiles, duplos, doll houses, a HUGE play house, grocery store, toddler area, bike area and so much more. There is also a large play structure. This place has something for everyone, including tired parents who just want to drink their coffee hot. There are dozens of tables or couches for caregivers to sit at and maintain a clear view of their child. There is also a little cafe that serves food and coffee. While this is a super service for customers, it means that Jabbers does not allow outside food and drink. This is a problem for the parent that has just forked out $10 for entry. It is also a problem for kids with allergies or extreme food aversions. Parents of little kids need to be able to bring in their own food to keep a lid on hangry children. read more

This is such a fun place to bring your littles to play. There are so many areas for different types of pretend play, and my kids are 2 and 4 and honestly never get bored here. Most of the time we come and stay for 2-3 hours and they are upset that we have to leave.
