Los Angeles County Fair - Dalmatian

It's a pretty large fair with tons of food, activities, entertainment, and vendors to check out. Costs can definitely add up if you go on a lot of rides, but I mainly spent money on food, which wasn't too bad. Some of the fun attractions included the dog trick show, pig racing, and the animal petting area. There was definitely plenty to see and do throughout the fairgrounds. I ended up buying the Costco deal, and it was honestly an amazing value. It included 4 tickets for $65, about 20 game tickets, and a free discount book. Definitely worth checking out if you have a Costco membership. Also, parking is best purchased online since it's around $22 online versus about $28 at the gate. One thing to note: they seriously lack water refill stations. If you bring a reusable bottle, it's surprisingly difficult to find a place to refill it. I only came across one station in the entire venue near a bathroom.

Always pay for your tickets and parking ahead of time for cheaper prices. If you're not into the games, always enter the fair by the Plaza De Las Americas - easy access to restrooms before you start your day, and King Taco always hits the spot if you want to grab a quick bite! For the 2026 fair, we were adventurous and saw a concert (actually two for the price of one) - Banda El Recodo and Banda Los Recoditos. All the years we've been here, we never saw a concert until now. If you get the opportunity, definitely check it out! Our seats were Section SS4 in Row S, so it was in the first section right in front of the stage. The chairs are tied together, so when seated everyone is elbow-to-elbow (not the most comfortable), but most people stand during the concert anyways so it wasn't too bad. There's a cheaper standing zone a little further away if you don't want to sit and there's bleachers all the way in the back if you really want some space. Honestly, no matter where you are, the music is going to be bumping and you'll see the artists on the big screens anyways. Since concert tickets include free admission to the fair, we went early to check out the usual sights. The Culture of the Low and the Slow is always a must to see lowriders and fantastic car art. They even offer a retro portrait photo booth this year (very fun)! The exhibit halls all offer different things and vendors. We like that they have a Big Free Little Library, so if you're a bookworm like myself it's worth giving it a look to see if there's any free book you want to take home. If you're feeling nostalgic, there's a Retro Row Exhibit that features KITT from Knight Rider, the DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, and photo-ops (like a classic Pizza Hut, a video-store, an 80s bedroom, and more). Skate-R-Cade is also back, so if you want to play some arcade games or skate around on roller skates, this is the spot to look for! It wouldn't be the L.A. County Fair without ridiculous gluttonous food to clog your arteries with! This year we had a burrito and tacos from King Taco (the sauces are guaranteed to clean your sinuses), strawberry funnel cake from Funnel of Love (absolutely huge), fried zucchini and a buffalo chicken mac & cheese cone from Chicken Charlie's (personal favorite). A good number of vendors are part of the $10 value menu, so keep an eye out for those items if you want to get your grub on for cheap. The Longboard Bard & Lounge is bumping every night, so this is the spot if you want to have a few drinks and dance. Overall the 2026 L.A. County Fair is a good time and there's something for everyone here. Get your walking shoes on, use sunscreen, hydrate, and have fun!

There's something for everyone: a giant pumpkin patch, gorgeous sunflower fields, a fun petting farm, and tons of great food and activities. The sunflower fields were one of my favorite part -- absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos. The petting farm was such a cute touch too (the sheep definitely stole the show). You can tell the students really put their heart into making the whole event feel welcoming and organized. We also stopped by the Farm Store on our way out and stocked up on fresh produce, wine (they grow their own grapes!), and some amazing pumpkin bread.

Got there when the event first open, crowd was too massive and was able to take some really great pictures in the Pumpkin area. The petting zoo was really fun- Goats and herds of sheep were walking around the petting area awaiting to be fed (really liked the cleaning station near the exit for easy hand washing), animals were really mellow- which created a fun environment for kids. Agreed with some reviews; the entrance fee is a bit pricey, though I did enjoy this festival

For parking, it was an easy process going from the gate and getting funneled to available spots. They take American Express at the gate. Be prepared to remember where your car is parked because it could feel like a maze later. For food, there were a lot of options all around the venue. There were so many options but my girlfriend and I could only try a handful. There was a good variety of items and we specifically got to try the following: matcha latte, pork belly tacos, tiramisu parfait, pizza taiyaki, and ube banana pudding. We saw online that there was a program. But honestly this wasn't something we focused on. Most of our time was spent browsing the different halls that consisted of different vendors, food vendors, kpop, artwork, anime, etc. The only drawback was we were not able to get a full preview of what vendors were attending. However, we were able to get by with some of the ones highlighted on their instagram and discovered by walking around. We spent about 3.5 hours here. A lot of vendors accepted American Express. Looking forward to coming back here again!

My wife spun a wheel and won a free facial. Was it free? She loved it so much, we purchased two facials and other cosmetic specials. Several food trucks to feed the hungry. We got there at 10am so we weren't very hungry. It smelled tempting though. Half of the exhibition were filled with anime and card shows. A great place for those who are interested. Parking was good once you got in. They only took credit cards, so this took time to get in.

So glad we listened. We ordered a lobster grilled cheese sandwich and I can say that it is BY FAR the very best sandwich I've ever had and for sure the best food I've ever tasted at the fair. The crispy bread and the gooey cheese, lots of avocado and the lobster! Just heaven, pure pure heaven. Just talking about it makes my mouth drool. The spicy sauce and the cheese all complimented each other without covering up the sweet taste of the lobster. The sandwich was big enough and filling enough to share. They had so much delicious food options that I would def want to go back for. Such options like their filet mignon quesadilla, kobe sliders and the pork belly tacos (I believe). They had 3 different locations throughout the fair and I was very happy with product and most of all the service from these employees. How many times have you gone to eat out an employee has done that. Thank You Alma from Del Real Foods.
