She was only 10 days old when she had her photoshoot. She had the cutest props and was well prepared for anything my daughter was going to throw at her, including peeing on her hand! Lyka stayed professional and just laughed it off! She is the most patient photographer I have ever met! And this is especially important for newborns as they can get fussy real quick. Finding a photographer for a surprise proposal is daunting enough. Add in the fact that we had just…read morearrived to Orange County and knew no one in Southern California, and it was downright stressful! Mary made it less so. With her knowledge of the area, she was able to add in a few helpful tips on how to make the day even more magical, from proposal tips to info about the location I planned on. But let's talk about what you really want to hear about: the photos. After the butterflies and excitement of a proposal, my fiancée and I were so nervous that we didn't know how to take photos afterwards. Mary got us distracted -- encouraging me to talk about how I asked for her parents blessing -- and shot some amazing photos. As a testament to Mary's skills, or perhaps my fiancée's beauty, we retouched exactly zero photos.
